The face of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was injured, his front teeth were damaged and his helmet was crushed. Fatima, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), was washing the blood (from his head), and ‘Ali b. Abu Talib was pouring water on it from a shield. When Fatima saw that the bleeding had increased on account of (pouring) water (on the wound), she took a piece of mat and burnt it until it was reduced to ashes. She put the ashes on the wound and the bleeding stopped.

“When any one of you goes to the Gha’it (toilet to defecate), let him take with him three stones and clean himself with them, for that will suffice him.”

“When any one of you wakes from sleep to perform Wudu’, then let him sniff water in his nose and blow it out three times, for the Shaitan spends the night on his nose.”

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Make your voices beautiful when you recite Quran.'”

“The Messenger of Allah said: “I used to forbid you (from eating) the meat of sacrificial animals after three days, and to (make) Nadidh except in a water skin, and to visit graves. But now eat whatever you want of the meat, or take some with you (when traveling) or store it: and whoever wants to visit graves, it will remind him of the Hereafter; and drink, but beware of any kind of intoxicant.”‘ (Sahih )

“The hand of the thief is to be cut off for one-quarter of a Dinar or more.”

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: May Allah brighten a man who hears a tradition from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others. Many a bearer of knowledge conveys it to one who is more versed than he is; and many a bearer of knowledge is not versed in it.

When one commits fornication, one is not a believer ; when one steals, one is not a believer ; when one drinks, one is not a believer ; and repentance is placed before him.

“three sisters, or three daughter, or two daughter, or two sisters”.

“We would not have lunch during the time of Allah’s Messenger, nor would we have a siesta, until after the Friday prayer.”

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam while lying, then he is as he said.”

“On the Day of Uhud, the Prophet (ﷺ) wore two coats of mail. He tried to get up on a boulder but was not able to, so Talhah squatted under him, lifting the Prophet (ﷺ) upon it such that he could sit on the boulder. So he said: (Paradise) “It is obligated from Talhah.'” There are narrations on this topic from Safwan bin Umayyah and As-Sa’ib bin Yazid. This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know of it except through the narration of Muhammad bin Ishaq.

“Al-Fuhsh is not present in anything but it mars it, and Al-Haya’ is not present in anything but it beautifies it.”

“Indeed, having good thoughts concerning Allah is from the perfection of the worship of Allah.”

The Prophet said: “Whoever performs ablution and does it well, then says three times: ‘Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wahdahu la sharika lahu, wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu (I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger),’ eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him; whichever one he wants he may enter.” (Da’if) Another chain with similar wording.

The Messenger of Allah said: “The eye is the leather strap (that ties up) the anus, so whoever falls asleep, let him perform ablution.”

“When the Imam says: ‘Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him),’ say: ‘Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O our Lord, to You is the praise).’”

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray Witr while riding his mount.

“Iyad Al-Ash’ari was in Anbar at the time of ‘Eid, and he said: ‘Why is it that I do not see you engaged in Taqlis* as was done in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?’” *Taqlis means to indulge in celebrations on a festive occasion.

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘When it is the night of the middle of Sha’ban, spend its night in prayer and observe a fast on that day. For Allah descends at sunset on that night to the lowest heaven and says: ‘Is there no one who will ask Me for forgiveness, that I may forgive him? Is there no one who will ask Me for provision, that I may provide for him? Is there no one who is afflicted by trouble, that I may relieve him?’ And so on, until dawn comes.’”

“One prayer in this mosque of mine is better than one thousand prayers in any other mosque except the Sacred Mosque.”

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood (in prayer) until his feet became swollen. It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins.’ He said: ‘Should I not be a thankful slave?’”

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) placed Sa’d gently in his grave and sprinkled water on it.”

“The people will remain upon goodness so long as they hasten to break the fast. Hasten to break the fast, for the Jews delay it.”

that the Prophet passed by some part of Al-Madinah and saw some girls beating their Daff And singing, saying: “We are girls from Banu Najjar what an excellent neighbor is Muhammad.” The Prophet said: “Allah knows that you are dear to me.”

“Fatimah bint Qais said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ) I am afraid that someone may enter upon me by force.’ So he told her to move.”

” no vow concerning that which the son of Adam does not possess.”

“The contractual obligation regarding a slave lasts for three days.” (1)

“I heard ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Exchanging gold for gold is usury unless it is done on the spot. (Exchanging) wheat for wheat is usury, unless it is done on the spot. (Exchanging) barley for barley is usury unless it is done on the spot. (Exchanging) dates for dates is usury, unless it is done on the spot.”

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon me when I was unwell. He said: ‘Do you intend to perform Hajj this year?’ I said: ‘I am sick, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Go for Hajj and say: “I will exit Ihram from the point where I am prevented.’”

“Wash him with water and lote leaves, and shroud him in his two garments, but do not cover his face or his head, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.” Another chain reports the same except a different verb was used for the break of the neck and he said “do not bring him near perfume, for he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection reciting the Talbiyah.”

“I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘You should use antimony when you go to sleep, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.’”

“The Prophet(ﷺ) passed by me and I was lying on my stomach. He nudged me with his foot and said: ‘O Junaidib! This is how the people of Hell lie.'””

“The Prophet (saas) heard a man say: ‘Allahumma! Inni as’aluka bi-annaka Antallahul-Ahadus-Samad, alladhi lam yalid wa lam yuwlud, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad (O Allah! I ask You by virtue of Your being Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Who begets not nor was begotten, and there is none co-equal or comparable to Him).’ The Messenger of Allah (saas) said: ‘He has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, which if He is asked thereby He gives, and if He is called upon thereby He answers.'”

“The believer is more precious to Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, than some of His angels.”

“The wealthiest will be the lowest on the Day of Resurrection, except those who do such and such with their money, and earn it from good sources.”

“We came to Khabbab to visit him (when he was sick), and he said: ‘I have been sick for a long time, and were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: “Do not wish for death,” I would have wished for it.’ And he said: “A person will be rewarded for all his spending, except for (what he spends) on dust,” or he said, “on building.”

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “I do not want to find anyone of you reclining on his pillow, and when bad news comes to him of something that I have commanded or forbidden, he says, ‘I do not know, whatever we find in the Book of Allah, we will follow.”

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever tells lies about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.”

“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘The first person with whom Allah will shake hands will be ‘Umar, (and he is) the first person to be greeted with the Salam, and the first person who will be taken by the hand and admitted into Paradise.'”
