“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him not enter a bath house except wearing an Izar (waist wrap).”
“Allahumma tahhirni min adh-dhunub wal-khataya. Allahumma naqqini minha kama yunaqqa ath-thawb al-abyad min ad-danas, Allahumma tahhirni bith-thalji wal-barad wal-ma’ al-barid (O Allah, purify me of sin and error, O Allah cleanse me of it as a white garment is cleansed of dirt, O Allah purify me with snow and hail and cold water).”
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The Imam is appointed to be followed, so when he says the takbir, say the takbir, and when he recites, be silent.'”
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘There is no owner of camels or cattle or sheep who does not give what is due on them, but he will be made to stand for them on the Day of Resurrection in a flat arena, and those with hooves will trample him with their hooves, and those with horns will gore him with their horns. And on that day there will be none that are hornless or have broken horns.’ We said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is due on them?’ He said: Lending males for breeding, lending their buckets, and giving them to people to ride in the cause of Allah. And there is no owner of wealth who does not give what is due on it but a bald-headed Shujaawill appear to him on the Day of Resurrection; its owner will flee from it and it will chase him and say to him: This is your treasure which you used to hoard. When he realizes that he cannot escape it he will put his hand in its mouth and it will start to bite it as a stallion bites.”‘
” On the Day of Khaibar, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) allowed us to eat the flesh of horses but he forbade us from the flesh of donkeys.”
Some chicken was brought to Abu Musa and a man moved away from the people. He said: “What is the matter with you?” He said: “I saw it eating something that I consider filthy, and I swore I would not eat it.” Abu Musa said: “Come and eat, for I saw the Messenger of Allah eating it.” And he told him to offer an expiation for his vow (Kafarat Al-Yamin)
“We were with Abu Musa and His food was brought, including chicken. Among the people there was a man from banu Taimullah who had reddish complexion, as if he were a freed slave. He did not come close and Abu Musa said: “Come (and eat) for I saw the Messenger of All eating it”‘
the Prophet forbade anyone to sell food that he brought
“The Prophet forbade to me to use gold rings, Al-Qassi, Al-Mitharah and Al-Ji’ah (a barley drink).”
“Forbid to us, O Commander of the Believers! What the Messenger of Allah forbade me from using Ad-Dubba’ and Al-Hantam.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: When the night approaches from this side and the day retreats on that side, and the sun sets – according to the version of Musaddad – he who fasts has reached the time to break it.
AbuLabid said: We were with AbdurRahman ibn Samurah ibn Kabul. The people got booty and plundered it. He stood and addressed (the people): I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibiting getting property from the booty before its distribution. Therefore, they returned what they had taken, He then distributed it among them.
The Prophet (ﷺ) went to visit a man of the Ansar accompanied by one of his Companions who was watering his garden. The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: If you have any water which has remained over night in a skin (we should like it), or shall sip (from a streamlet).
On the day of Khaybar the Messenger of Allah (may pease be upon him) forbade (eating) the flesh of domestic asses, and the animal which feeds on filth: riding it and eating its flesh.
Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Whoever has a need from Allah, or from one of the sons of Adam, then let him perform Wudu’, performing it well, then pray two Rak`ah, then praise Allah and say Salat upon the Prophet (ﷺ). Then let him say: (La ilaha illallah Al-Halimul-Karim. Subhan Allah Rabbil-`Arshil-`Azim. Al-Hamdulillahi Rabbil-`Alamin. As’aluka mujibati rahmatika wa `aza’im maghfiratika, wal-ghanimata min kulli birrin, was-salamata min kulli ithmin, la tada` li dhanban illa ghafartahu, wa la hamman illa farrajtahu, wa la Hajatan hiya laka ridan Illa Qadaitaha, ya arham ar-rahimin) ‘None has the right to be worshiped but Allah. Al-Halim (the Forbearing) Al-Karim (the Generous). Glorious is Allah, Lord of the Magnificent Throne. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I ask You for that which warrants Your mercy, and that which will determine Your forgiveness, and the spoils (fruits) of every righteous deed, and safety from every sin; do not leave a sin for me without forgiving it, nor a worry without relieving it. Or a need that pleases you without granting it. O Most-Merciful of those who have mercy.'”
“The Messenger of Allah got a camel in advance. Some camels from the charity.” Abu Rafi’ said: “So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told me to pay the man back for his camel. I said: ‘I did not find among the camels but a superior selection of Raba’. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Give it to him, for indeed the base of people is the best of them in repaying.'” This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
That the Prophet (ﷺ) said similarly.
“When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), would wear a new garment he would mention what it was, whether an ‘Imamah, a Qamis, or a Rida’, then he would say: Allahumma lakal-hamdu, Anta kasawtanihi, as’aluka khairuhu wa khaira ma suni’a lahu, wa a’udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma suni’a lahu'” (‘O Allah! For You is the praise, You have clothed me, I ask You for its good and the god for which it was made, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil for which it was made.) There are narrations on this topic from ‘Umar, and Ibn ‘Umar.

The Messenger of Allah said: “The ears are part of the head.” He used to wipe his head once, and he used to wipe over the inner corners of the eyes (that are close to the nose).
“I was with the Messenger of Allah on a journey, and he commanded me to call the Adhan. Bilal wanted to call the Iqamah, but the Messenger of Allah said: ‘The brother of Suda’ called the Adhan, and the one who calls the Adhan is the one who calls the Iqamah.'”
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray two Rak’ah while traveling, and he did not do more than that. And he used to pray Tahajjud at night.” I asked: “Did he pray Witr?” He said: “Yes.”
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade fasting on the Day of Fitr and the Day of Adha.
“A man asked the Messenger of about coitus interruptus. He said: ‘Do you do that? If you do not do so, it will not harm; for there is no soul that (SWT) has decreed will exist but it will come into being.’ “
‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir told him, that his sister vowed to walk, barefoot and bareheaded, and he mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) He said: “Order her to ride and to cover her head, and to fast for three days.”
the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the deal involving earnest money .
“Offer an ‘Aqiqah for the boy, but do not smear his head with blood.”
“The Prophet (ﷺ) was given a gift of some grapes from Ta’if. He called me and said: ‘Take this bunch of grapes and give it to your mother.’ But I ate it before I gave it to her. A few night later he said to me: ‘What happened to the bunch of grapes? Did you give it to your mother?’ I said: ‘No, So he called me treacherous.’”
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to wear a shirt that was short in the sleeves and length.”
