Sunan al-Nasa'i — The Book of Forgetfulness (In Prayer)

“I heard Ash-Sha’bi say: ‘Alqamah bin Qais forgot (and made a mistake) in his prayer, and they told him about that after he had spoken, He said: ‘Is that true, O odd-eyed one?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ So he undid his cloak, then he performed two prostrations of forgtfulness,and said: ‘This is what the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) did.’ He said: And I heard Al-Hakam say: ‘Alqamah had prayed five.'”

“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray witr with three rak’ahs. In the first he would recite “Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High;” in the second: “Say: O You disbelievers!” and in the third: “Say: He is Allah, (the) One.'”

“There is no vow to commit an act of disobedience, and its expiation is the expiation for an oath.”

“Beware of Zann (suspicion), for indeed Zann is the falsest of speech.”

the Prophet (ﷺ) bought Safiyyah for seven slaves. (Sahih) (One of the narrators) ‘Abdur-Rahman said: “From Dihyah Kalbi.’

“Whoever enters a horse (in a race) between two other horses, not knowing whether it will win, that is not gambling. But whoever enters a horse (in race) between two other horses, certain that it will win, that is gambling.”
