## Hadith #1934

**Book:** The Book of Funerals | **Narrator(s):** Abdullah bin Burayda bin al-Husayb عبد الله بن بريدة بن الحصيب الأسلمي, Abdullah bin Yazid bin Zayd, Abu al-Aswad al-Du'ali أبو الأسود الديلي/الدؤلي, Da'ud bin Abi al-Frat داود بن أبي الفرات عمرو, Ishaq bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن محمد

a funeral passed by the Messenger of Allah and he stood up. It was said: “It is the funeral of a Jew.” He said: “We stood up for the angels.”

“The Prophet entered a grave during the night, so a torch was lit for him. He took it (the deceased) in from the direction of the Qiblah, and he said: ‘May Allah have mercy upon you, you were often invoking (Allah) by reciting the Qur’an.’ And he said: ‘Allahu Akbar four times.”

“I heard Wabisah bin Ma’bad saying: ‘I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performing prayer, and when he bowed he made his back so straight that if water were poured on it, it would have stayed there.’”
