Hadith #962

The Book on Hajj · Narrated by Farqad bin Y'aqub al-Sabkhi فرقد بن يعقوب السبخي, Hammad bin Salama حماد بن سلمة, Hanad bin al-Sari bin Mus'ab هناد بن السري بن مصعب, ibn Umar, Sa'id bin Jubayr سعيد بن جبير الأسدي, Waki' bin al-Jarrah وكيع بن الجراح

the Prophet said: “Tawaf around the House is similar to Salat except that you talk during it. So whoever talks in it, then let him not say but good.”

“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Whoever has a speck of pride (arrogance) in his heart, shall not be admitted into Paradise. And whoever has a speck of faith in his heart, shall not be admitted in to the Fire.'” He said: “So a man said to him: ‘I like for my clothes to be nice, and my sandals to be nice?’ So he said: ‘Indeed Allah loves beauty. But pride is refusing the truth and belittling the people.'”

“We went out looking for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and Wa’il bin Hujr was with us. An enemy of his seized him and the people were reluctant to swear an oath but I swore that he was my brother, so they set him free. We came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I told him that the people had been reluctant to swear an oath, but I had sworn that he was my brother. He said: ‘You told the truth. The Muslim is the brother of his fellow Muslim.’ “

the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ruled that preemption takes effect in all cases where land has not been divided. But if the boundaries have been set and the roads laid out, then there is no preemption.”

“On the Day of Uhud, I recognized the one who wounded the face of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), the one who was washing the blood from the face of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and treating him, and the one who was bringing the water in a shield, and with what the wound was treated until the bleeding stopped. The one who was carrying the water in the shield was ‘Ali. The one who was treating the wound was Fatimah. When the bleeding would not stop, she burned a piece of a worn out mat and applied the ashes to it (the wound), then the bleeding stopped.
