## Hadith #1116

**Book:** The Book of The At-Tatbiq (Clasping One's Hands Together) | **Narrator(s):** Abdullah bin Mubarak عبد الله بن المبارك, Anas ibn Malik, Bakr bin 'Abdullah al-Mazni بكر بن عبد الله المزني, Ghalib bin Khataf al-Qatan غالب بن خطاف القطان, Swyd bin Nsr bin Swyd سويد بن نصر بن سويد

He saw ‘Abdullah bin Al-Harith praying with his hair bound behind him. He stopped and started to undo it. When he finished he turned to Ibn ‘Abbas and said: “What were you doing to my head?” He said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘The likeness of this is that of one who prays with his hands tie behind his neck.'”

AbuMijlaz said: Mu’awiyah went out to Ibn az-Zubayr and Ibn Amir. Ibn Amir got up and Ibn az-Zubayr remained sitting. Mu’awiyah said to Ibn Amir: Sit down, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Let him who likes people to stand up before him prepare his place in Hell.
