“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Whoever hears the Adhan when he is in the mosque, then goes out and does not go out for any (legitimate) need and does not intend to return, is a hypocrite.'”

“Fasting the day of ‘Ashura’, I hope, will expiate for the sins of the previous year.”

“For everything there is Zakat and the Zakat of the body is fasting.”
(A narrator in one of the chains) Muhriz added in his narration: “And the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Fasting is half of patience.'”
