    <text>“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! In how much time may I recite the Qur’an?’ He said: ‘Complete it in one month.’ I said: ‘I am able to do more than that.’ He said: ‘Then complete it in twenty (days).’ I said: ‘I am able to do more than that.’ He said: ‘Then finish it in fifteen (days).’ I said: ‘I am able to do more than that.’ He said: ‘Finish it in ten (days).’ I said: ‘I am able to do more than that.’ He said: ‘Finish it in five (days).’ I said: ‘I am able to do more than that.&apos;” He (‘Abdullah bin ‘Amr) said: “But he did not permit me.”</text>

    <text>Umm Salamah said: “The Messenger of Allah enjoined charity upon us. Zainab, the wife of Abdullah said: ‘Will it be accepted as charity on my part if I give charity to my husband who is poor, and to the children of a brother of mine who are orphans, spending such and such on them, and in all circumstances?’ He said: ‘Yes.’”</text>

    <text>“O Allah, bless my nation in their early mornings (i.e., what they do early in the morning).” (Hasan)He said: “When he sent out a raiding party or an army, he would send them at the beginning of the day.” He said: (1) “Sakhr was a man engaged in trade, and he used to send his goods out at the beginning of the day, and his wealth grew and increased.”</text>
