Sunan al-Nasa'i — The Book of the Qiblah

“I saw Jarir urinate, then he called for water and performed wudhu, and wiped over his Khuffs, then he stood up and prayed. He was asked about that and he said: ‘I saw the Prophet(ﷺ) do exactly like this.'”

“I heard Abu Wa’il say: “A man said in the presence of Abdullah: ‘I recited Al-Mufassal in one rak’ah.’ He said: ‘That is like reciting poetry. I know the similar surahs that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to recite together.’ And he mentioned twenty surahs from Al-Mufassal, two by two in each rak’ah.”

“The Dajjal will come to Al-Madinah to find the angels have surrounded it. Neither the plague nor the Dajjal will enter it, if Allah wills.”

“Indeed there is a fitnah for every Ummah, and the Fitnah for my Ummah is wealth.”

“When this Ayah was revealed: ‘And warn your tribe of near kindred (26:214).’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘O Safiyyah bint ‘Abdul-Muttalib! O Fatimah bint Muhammad! O Banu ‘Abdul-Muttalib! I have no power to help you at all before Allah! Ask of me whatever you want from my wealth.'”

“Al-Wudu is half of faith, and All praise is due to Allah (Al-Ḥamdulillāh) fills the Scale, and Glory is to Allah and all praise is to Allah (Subḥān Allāh wal-Ḥamdulillāh)’ fill” – or – “fills what is between the heavens and the earth, and Salat is light and charity is an evidence, and patience is an illumination, and the Quran is a proof for you or against you. And all people shall come to the morning selling their souls, either setting it free or destroying it.”

‘Offer prayer for everyone who dies, and strive in Jihad under every chief.”

“A grateful eater is equal to a patient fasting person.”

“My grandmother narrated to me from a man of Hudhail who was called Nubaishah Al-Khair. She said: ‘Nubaishah entered upon us when we were eating from a bowl of ours. He said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever eats from a bowl then cleans it, the bowl will pray for forgiveness for him.’”
