## Hadith #2281

**Book:** The Book of Fasting | **Narrator(s):** Ja'far bin Iyas, Sahl bin Bkar bin Bashr سهل بن بكار بن بشر, Wadah bin 'Abdullah al-Yashkari وضاح بن عبد الله اليشكري أبو عوانة

“Abu Qilabah narrated this Hadith to us, then he said: ‘Do you want to meet the one who narrated this Hadith?’ He directed me to him and I met him and he said: ‘A relative of mine who was called to the Messenger of Allah concerning some camels of mine that had been taken away. When I saw him he was eating, and he called me to eat with him, but I said: ‘I saw him he was eating, and he called me to eat with him, but I said: I am fasting.’ He said: ‘Come close and I will tell you but that. Allah has waived fasting and half of the prayer for the traveler.”

“Eat not of that on which Allah’s name has not been pronounced” – that he said: “The idolaters argued with them and said:  ‘Whatever Allah kills you do not eat, and whatever you kill you eat!”

Hisham said “The unjust vein means that a man implants a tree in the land of another man so that they may be entitled to it. Malik said “The unjust vein means that a man takes (a thing) digs a pit and implants a tree without (his) right.

I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) many times say: When a servant of Allah is accustomed to do a good work, then becomes ill or goes on journey, what was accustomed to do when he was well and staying at home will be recorded for him.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: Do not sit on the graves, and do not pray facing them.

I think it was Ghalib who had come to the Prophet(ﷺ) with tradition.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me: Have the mugharribun been seen (or some other word) among you? I asked: What do the mugharribun mean? He replied: They are those in whom is a strain of the jinn.
