I am from Ram-Hurmuz (i.e. a Persian town).
The interval between Jesus and Muhammad was six hundred years.
Your Apostle (ﷺ) teaches you about everything, even about excrement. He replied: Yes, he has forbidden us to face the Qibla at the time of excretion or urination, or cleansing with right hand or with less than three pebbles, or with dung or bone.
I see that your friend even teaches you about the excrement. He replied; Yes, he has in fact forbidden us that anyone amongst us should cleanse himself with his right hand, or face the Qibla. He has forbidden the use of dung or bone for it, and he has also instructed us not to use less than three pebbles (for this purpose).
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Keeping watch for a day and a night is better (in point of reward) than fasting for a whole month and standing in prayer every night. If a person dies (while, performing this duty), his (meritorious) activity will continue and he will go on receiving his reward for it perpetually and will be saved from the torture of the grave.
In case it lies in your power don’t be one to enter the bazar first and the last to get out of that because there is a bustle and the standard of Satan is set there. He said: I was informed that Gabriel (Allah be pleased with him) came to Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) and there was with him Umin Salama and he began to talk with him. He then stood up, whereupon Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) said to Umm Salama: (Do you know) who was he and what did he say? She said: He was Dihya (Kalbi). He reported Umm Salama having said: By Allah, I did not deem him but only he (Dihya) until I heard the address of Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) informing him about us. He (the narrator) said: I said to Uthman: From whom did you hear it? He said: From Usima b. Zaid.
Verily, Allah created, on the same very day when He created the heavens and the earth, one hundred parts of mercy. Every part of mercy is coextensive with the space between the heavens. and the earth and He out of this mercy endowed one part to the earth and it is because of this that the mother shows affection to her child and even the beasts and birds show kindness to one another and when there would be the Day of Resurrection, Allah would make full (use of Mercy).
“I was behind Abu Hurairah when he performed Wudu’ for Salah. He washed his hand up to the armpit, and I said: ‘O Abu Hurairah! What is this Wudu’?’ He said to me: ‘O Banu Farrukh! You are here! If I had known that you were here I would not have performed Wudu’ like this. I heard my close friend (i.e., the Prophet (ﷺ)) says: “The jewelry of the believer will reach as far as his Wudu reached.”
“I entered upon ‘Uthman bin Abi Al-As and he called for milk. I said: I am fasting; He said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah say: ‘Fasting is a shield like the of any one of you in battle.”‘ Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Fasting is a shield.”‘ (Sahih
“Mutarrif entered upon ‘Uthman” and he narrated something similar in Mursal from. Abu Hurairah said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Fasting is a shield.”‘ (Sahih
“The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Hajj al-Mabrur brings no reward other than Paradise, and from one ‘Umrah to another is expiation for what came in between.” (Shih)
“Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those (slaves) whom your right hands possess,” meaning, this is permissible for you once they have completed their ‘Iddah.
“Ash-Shabi was asked about the share of the Prophet and what he chose for himself. He said: ‘The share of the Prophet was like the share of any Muslim man, and what he chose for himself was something precious; he chose whatever he wanted to.”‘
“Two trades have the choice as long as until they reach a deal that suits both of them and they confirm it three times. “
“We were with ‘Utbah bin Farqad when the letter of ‘Umar came, saying that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘No one wears silk except one who has no share of it in the Hereafter, except this much.'” And Abu ‘Uthman gestured with the two fingers that are next to the thumb. And I saw the two of them pointing to the borders of the Tayalisah, so that I could see the Tayalisah.
I went to al-Hirah and saw them (the people) prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, so I said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has most right to have prostration made before him. When I came to the Prophet (ﷺ), I said: I went to al-Hirah and saw them prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, but you have most right, Messenger of Allah, to have (people) prostrating themselves before you. He said: Tell me , if you were to pass my grave, would you prostrate yourself before it? I said: No. He then said: Do not do so. If I were to command anyone to make prostration before another I would command women to prostrate themselves before their husbands, because of the special right over them given to husbands by Allah.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: I am nearer to the believers than themselves, so if anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs, and if anyone leaves debt and dependants, let the matter come to me and I shall be responsible.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out from the valley of a mountain where he had eased himself. There were some dried dates on a shield before us. We called him and he ate with us. He did not touch water.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: It is not allowable for a believer to keep from a believer for more than three days. If three days pass, he should meet him and give him a salutation, and if he replies to it they will both have shared in the reward; but if he does not reply he will bear his sin (according to Ahmad’s version) and the one who gives the salutation will have come forth from the sin of keeping apart.
The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever performs Hajj for Allah, and he does not have sexual relations nor commit any sin, then his previous sins will be forgiven.”
That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Indeed when a Jew gives Salam to one of you, then he is only saying: ‘As-Samu ‘Alaikum’ (Death be upon you) so say: “Alaik (And upon you).'” This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
“The Messenger of Allah(S.A.W) came to visit me while I was ill at Banu Salamah. I said : ‘O Prophet of Allah(S.A.W)! How shall I divide my wealth among my children?’ But he did not say anything to me, until the following was revealed: Allah commands you regarding your children’s (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females.”
“Abstinence in the world is not by prohibiting (oneself) the lawful nor by neglecting wealth , but abstinence in the world is that you not hold more firmly to what is in your hand than to what is in the hand of Allah, and that you be more hopeful of the rewards that come with an affliction that you may suffer if it remain with you.”
that ‘Amr bin ‘Abdullah bin Safwan informed him, that Kaladah bin Hanbal had informed him, that Safwan bin Umayyah sent him to bring some milk, colostrum, and Daghabis (a type of herb) to the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was in the upper valley. (He said): “I entered upon him without seeking permission nor giving Salam. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Go back and say: As-Salamu Alaykum, may I enter?'” And that was after Safwan had accepted Islam.”
“When revelation came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), one could hear what sounded like the drone of bees before his face. One day revelation was coming to him, he faced the Qiblah, raised his hands and said: ‘O Allah! Increase us, do not diminish us. Favor us, do not withhold from us, make us pleased and be pleased with us.’ He (ﷺ) said: ‘Ten Ayah were revealed to me, whoever abides by them shall enter Paradise (and they are): ‘Successful indeed are the believers…’ until the completion of ten Ayat (23:1-10).” (Another route) from AzZuhri with this chain. This is more correct than the first narration. I heard Ishaq bin Mansur saying: “Ahmad bin Hanbal, ‘Ali bin AlMadini, and Ishaq bin Ibrãhim reported this Hadith from ‘AbdurRazzaq, from Yunus bin Sulaim, from Yunus bin Yazid from AzZuhri.” Only those who heard from ‘Abdur-Razzaq early mentioned in it: “From Yunus bin Yazid”, while some of them did not mention in it: “From Yunus bin Yazid.” And whoever mentioned “From Yunus bin Yazid” then he was more correct. Sometimes ‘Abdur-Razzaq would mention Yunus bin Yazid in this Hadith and sometimes he would not mention him. .
regarding the saying of Allah the Most High: Verily, those who call you from behind the dwellings, most of them have no sense (49:4). He said: “A man stood and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Indeed my praise (of others) is worthwhile and my censure is appropriate.’ So the Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘That is for Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.'”
“Whoever says: none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, Alone, without partner, to Him belongs all that exists, and to Him belongs the praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is powerful over all things, (Lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, yuḥyī wa yumītu, wa huwa `alā kulli shai’in qadīr)’ ten times at the end of Al-Maghrib – Allah shall send for him protectors to guard him from Shaitan until he reaches morning, and Allah writes for him ten good deeds, Mujibat, and He wipes from him ten of the destructive evil deeds, and it shall be for him the equal of freeing ten believing slaves.”
“While we were sitting in the mosque, a man entered riding a camel; he made it kneel in the mosque, then he hobbled it and said to them: ‘Which of you is Muhammad?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was reclining among them, so they said: ‘This fair- skinned man who is reclining.’ The man said to him: ‘O son of ‘Abdul- Muttalib!’ The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘I am listening to you.’ The man said: O Muhammad! I am asking you and will be stern in asking, so do not bear any ill-feelings towards me.’ He said: ‘Ask whatever you think.’ The man said: ‘I adjure you by your Lord and the Lord of those who came before you, has Allah sent you to all of mankind?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘By Allah, yes.; He said: ‘I adjure you by Allah, has Allah commanded you to pray the five prayers each day and night?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘By Allah, yes.’ He said: ‘I adjure you by Allah, has Allah commanded you to fast this month of each year?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘By Allah, yes.’ He said: ‘I adjure you by Allah, has Allah commanded you to take this charity from our rich and distribute it among our poor?’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘By Allah, yes.’ The man said: ‘I believe in what you have brought, and I am the envoy of my people who are behind me. I am Dimam bin Tha’labah, the brother of Banu Sa’d bin Bakr.’”
“The Prophet used to give us dates from the collection (mixed) The Messenger of Allah said: ‘It is not right to give one Sa of dates for two Sa, nor one Dirham for two Dirham. A Dirham for a Dirham and a Dinar for a Dinar is allowed: the only difference between them is in weight (i.e., the weight must be equal.)’” Sahih
That he went out one day to Al-Baqi’, which is the graveyard, to relieve himself. People used to go out to relieve themselves only every two or three days, and their faces was like that of a camel (because of hunger and rough food). Then he entered a ruin and while he was squatting to relieve himself, he saw a rat bringing a Dinar out of a hole, then it went in and brought out another, until it had brought out seventeen Dinars. Then it brought out a piece of red rag.Miqdad said: “I picked up the rag and found another Dinar inside it, thus completing eighteen Dinar. I took them out and brought them to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and told him what had happened. I said, ‘Take its Sadaqah (charity), O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’ He said: ‘Take them back, for no Sadaqah is due on them. May Allah (SWT) bless them for you.’ Then he said: ‘Perhaps you put your hand in the hole?’ I said: ‘No, by the One Who has honored you with the truth.”
“I asked Ibn ‘Umar about sacrifices and whether they are obligatory. He said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the Muslims after him offered sacrifices, and this is the Sunnah.’” Another chain reports exactly the same.
“The Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, when I was eating: ‘Say the Name of Allah, the Glorified and Exalted.’”
“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade gold rings.”
It was narrated from Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wore a silver ring with an Ethiopian gemstone, and he used to ear the stone in towards his palm.
