He replied: You have a duty to your family. Fast during Ramadan and the following month, and every Wednesday and Thursday. You will then have observed a perpetual fast. Say to your wives: ” If you desire the life of this world, and its glitter.'” I said: ‘Do I need to consult my parents about this?
