Hadith #2500
Jihad (Kitab Al-Jihad) · Narrated by al-Rabi' bin Nafi' Abu Tawba al-Halbi الربيع بن نافع أبو توبة الحلبي, Zayd bin Salam زيد بن سلام · Sahih

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Everyone who dies will have fully complete his action, except one who is on the frontier (in Allah’s path), for his deeds will be made to go on increasing till the Day of Resurrection, and he will be safe from the trial in the grave.

Ata’ reported a similar tradition (to No 2777) from the Prophet (ﷺ). This version adds: a man is appointed on groups of people, and takes (wages) from the share of this, and from the share of this.

from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Shall I not narrate to you about the worst of the major sins?” They said: “Of course O Messenger of Allah!” He said: “Associating others with Allah and disobeying the parents.” He said: “And he sat reclining and said: ‘The false testimony.’ Or he said: ‘The false statement.'” He said: “So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would not stop saying it until we said (to ourselves): ‘If he would only stop.'”
