“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came out to us with a small leather shield in his hand. He put it down, then he sat behind it and urinated toward it. Some of the people said: ‘Look, he is urinating like a woman.’ He heard that and said: ‘Do you not know what happened to the companion of the Children of Israel? If they got any urine on themselves they would clip that part of their garments off. Their companion told them not to do that and he was punished in his grave.'”
“I heard Abu Hurairah say: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When one of you recites the tashahhud, let him seek refuge with Allah (SWT) from our things: From the torment of hell, from the torment of the grave, from the trials of life and death and from the evils of the Dajjal. Then let him pray for himself asking whatever he wants.'”
“I came to the Prophet with some other Ansari women to give our pledge. We said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we give you our pledge that we will not associate anything with Allah, we will not steal, we will not have unlawful sexual relations, we will not utter slander, fabricating from between our hands and feet, and we will not disobey you in goodness.’ He said: ‘As much as you can and are able.’ We said: ‘Allah and His Messenger are more merciful toward us. Com, let us give you our pledge, O Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah said: ‘I do not shake hands with women. Rather my word to a hundred women is like my word to one woman.”‘
“A Bedouin brought a rabbit to the Messenger of Allah that he had grilled and placed it before him. The messenger of Allah refrained from eating but he told the people to eat. The Bedouin also refrained from eating, and the Messenger of Allah said to him: ‘What is keeping you from eating?’ He said: ‘I fast three days of each month.’ He Said: “If you are going to fast, then fast the bright days (Al-Ghurr).”
“Umar, May Allah be pleased with us on the day when we stopped at Al-Qaha?’ Abu Dharr said: ‘I was. A rabbit was brought to the Messenger Allah and the man who brought it said: I saw it bleeding (menstruating). The Prophet did not eat, then he said: “Eat.” A man said: “I am fasting.” He said: “What fast are you observing?” He said: “Three days each month” He said: “Why don’t yo0u fast the bright shining days, the thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth.”‘
“We disturbed a rabbit in Marr Az-Zahran so I caught it, and brought it to Abu Talhah who slaughtered it, and sent me with its thighs and haunches to the Prophet and he accepted it.”
It is a lizard. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) raised his hand. I (Khalid) asked: Is it forbidden, Messenger of Allah? He replied, No, but it is not found in the land of my people, so I find it distasteful. Khalid said: I then pulled it and ate it while The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was seeing.
He said: If you do not find a caliph in those days, then flee away until you die, even of you die holding on (to a stump of a tree). I asked: What will come next ? He replied: If a man wants the mare to bring forth a foal, it will not deliver in till the Last Hour comes.

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: If you search for the faults of the people, you will corrupt them, or will nearly corrupt them. AbudDarda’ said: These are the words which Mu’awiyah himself from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and Allah benefited him by them.
AbdurRahman ibn AbuLayla, quoting Usayd ibn Hudayr, a man of the Ansar, said that while he was given to jesting and was talking to the people and making them laugh, the Prophet (ﷺ) poked him under the ribs with a stick. He said: Let me take retaliation. He said: Take retaliation. He said: You are wearing a shirt but I am not. The Prophet (ﷺ) then raised his shirt and the man embraced him and began to kiss his side. Then he said: This is what I wanted, Messenger of Allah!
“Allah’s Messenger was on a journey and Bilal was with him. So he wanted to call for the prayer, but he (the Prophet) said: ‘Let it get cooler.’ Then he wanted to call for the prayer, so Allah’s Messenger said: ‘Let it get to the cooler time of Zuhr.'” He (i.e., Abu Dharr) said: “Until we saw the shadows of the hillocks, then he commanded that the Iqamah be called and then led the people in prayer. Allah’s Messenger said: ‘The severity of heat is from the raging of Hell, so wait until it becomes cooler for the (Zuhr) prayer.'”
“When Kisra is ruined, there will be no Kisra after him, and when Caesar is ruined, there will be no Caesar after him. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! You shall spend their treasures in Allah’s cause.”
“A fire is coming from Hadramawt- before the Day of Judgement- to gather the people.” They said: “O Messenger of Allah! What do you order us?” He said: “Stick to Ash-Sham.”

He asked Umm Habibah, the wife of the Prophet: “What did you used to do with the Messenger of Allah when you were menstruating?” She said: “If it was at the beginning of the period when the bleeding is heavy, we would tie the waist-wrapper tightly around our thighs, then lie down with the Messenger of Allah.”
“Abu Quhaifah was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the Day of the Conquest (of Makkah), and his head was all white. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Take him to some of his womenfolk and let them change this, but avoid black.’”
“The Prophet(ﷺ) used to come to us and say to a brother of mine, who was small: ‘O Abu Umair.'”.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Soon there will come a time that a man will be reclining on his pillow, and when one of my Ahadith is narrated he will say: ‘The Book of Allah is (sufficient) between us and you. Whatever it states is permissible, we will take as permissible, and whatever it states is forbidden, we will take as forbidden.’ Verily, whatever the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has forbidden is like that which Allah has forbidden.”
The Prophet met ‘Uthman at the door of the mosque and said: “O ‘Uthman! Jibril has told me that Allah married you to Umm Kulthum for a dowry like that of Ruqayyah, provided that you treat her as you treated Ruqayyah.”
