That the Prophet (ﷺ) once came to her in a state of fear and said, “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Woe unto the Arabs from a danger that has come near. An opening has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog like this,” making a circle with his thumb and index finger. Zainab bint Jahsh said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Shall we be destroyed even though there are pious persons among us?” He said, “Yes, when the evil person will increase.”
That the Prophet (ﷺ) came to her in a state of fear saying, “None has the right to be worshiped but Allah! Woe to the Arabs because of evil that has come near. Today a hole has been made in the wall of Gog and Magog as large as this.” pointing with two of his fingers making a circle. Zainab said, “I said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! Shall we be destroyed though amongst us there are pious people? ‘ He said, ‘Yes, if evil increases.”
“I said to the Prophet (ﷺ) that I was suffering from Istihadah. He said: ‘Do not pray during the days of your period, then perform Ghusl and delay Zuhr and bring Maghrib and bring ‘Isha’ forward and pray them together, and perform Ghusl for Fajr.”
“She should have a Mahr like that of women like her, no less and no more; she has to observe the ‘Iddah, and she is entitled to inherit.” Ma’qil bin Sinan Al-Ashja’i stood up and said: “The Messenger of Allah passed a similar judgment among us concerning Birwa’ bint Washiq.” And Ibn Masud rejoiced at that.
“I heard Umm Salamah say: ‘A woman came to the Messenger of Allah and said: O Messenger of Allah, my daughter’s husband has died and she has a problem in her eye; can I put kohl on her? The Messenger of Allah said: No. Then he said: It is four months and ten days. During the Jahiliyyah one of you would throw a piece of dung at the end of the year.'” Humaid said: “I said to Zainab: ‘What is this throwing a piece of dung at the end of the year?’ She said: ‘If a woman’s husband died, she would enter a small room (Hifsh) and wear her worst clothes, and she would not put on perfume or anything until a year. Then an animal would be brought, a donkey or sheep or bird, and she would end her ‘Iddah with it (clean herself with it), and usually any animal used for that purpose would die. Then she would come out and would be given a piece of dung which she would throw, then she would go back to whatever she wanted of perfume, etc.'” In the narration of Muhammad (bin Salamah) Malik said: Hifsh means hut.
the Prophet sacrificed two Amlah horned rams, putting his foot on their sides and slaughtering them pronouncing the name of Allah, and saying: Allahu Akbar.”” (Sahih )
Abu Humaid Al Sa’idi said “I went to Tabuk on an expedition along with the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ). When he reached Wadi Al Qura, he found a woman in her garden. The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said to his Companions “Assess (the quantity o fruits). The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) assessed ten wasqs.” He said to the woman “Count the produce of it. We then came to Tabuk.” The monarch of Ailah presented a white mule as a gift to the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ). He presented a cloak as a gift o him and wrote a document for his land at sea coast. When we came to Wadi Al Qura he said to the woman “How much is the produce of your garden?” She replied “Ten wasqs which the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) had assessed.” The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said “I am going quickly to Madeenah if any of you intend to go quickly with me , he should make haste.”
“The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited the sale of Habalil-Habalah.” There are narrations on this topic from ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abbas and Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri The Hadith of Ibn ‘Umar is Hasan Sahih Hadith. This is acted upon according to the people of knowledge. And Hababil-Habalah is the offspring of the offspring (of an animal). It is an invalid sale according to the people of knowledge and it is type of Gharar sale. Shu’bah reported this Hadith from Ayyub, from Sa’eed bin Jubair, from Ibn ‘Abbas. ‘Abdul Wahhab Ath-Thaqafi and others reported it from Ayyub, from Sa’eed bin Jubair and Nafi’, from Ibn ‘Umar, from the Prophet (ﷺ), and this is more correct.
He heard the Messenger of Allah say: ‘Shall I not tell you of something by means of which Allah expiates for sins and increases good deeds?’ They said: ‘Yes, O Messenger of Allah.’ He said: ‘Performing ablution properly despite difficulties, increasing the number of steps one takes towards the mosque and waiting for the next prayer after prayer.’
“Abu Hurairah visited his people, meaning, a village” – I (one of the narrators) think he said: “Yuna” – “And they brought him some of the first thin loaves of bread. He wept and said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) never saw such a thing with his own eyes.’”
“I saw a black woman with disheveled hair, who left Al-Madinah and went to stay in Al- Mahya’ah, which is Juhfah. I interpreted it as referring to an epidemic in Al-Madinah which moved to Juhfah.”
His father said: “Mu’awiyah stood up to deliver a sermon and said: ‘Where are your scholars? Where are your scholars? For I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: The Hour will not begin until a group of my Ummah will prevail over the people, and they will not care who lets them down and who supports them.”
