Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) said to me: Don’t consider anything insignificant out of good things even if it is that you meet your brother with a cheerful countenance.
Make a recommendation for him, and you would get the reward. Allah, however, gives the verdict through the tongue of His Apostle what He likes most.

Abu Dharr, when you prepare the broth, add water to that and give that (as a present) to your neighbour.
Whenever you prepare a broth, add water to it, and have in your mind the members of the household of your neighbours and then give them out of this with courtesy.
