Ata' bin Abi Rabah عطاء بن أبي رباح · Drinks (Kitab Al-Ashribah)

Dates were steeped for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a skin, but when they could not find a skin, they were steeped for him in a small stone vessel.

Raisins were steeped for the Prophet (ﷺ) and he would drink it in the morning and the night after, the following day and the night after. He then gave orders and it was given to servants to drinks or poured away. Abu Dawud said: That "it was given to servants to drink" means before it spoiled.
