#959 On the day of Nahr the Prophet (ﷺ) offered the prayer and delivered the Khutba and then slaughtered the sacrifice and said, “Anybody who slaughtered (his sacrifice) before the prayer should slaughter another animal in lieu of it, and the one who has not yet slaughtered should slaughter the sacrifice mentioning Allah’s name on it.” sahih #1091 The Prophet (ﷺ) became sick and did not get up (for Tahajjud prayer) for a night or two. sahih #1092 Gabriel did not come to the Prophet (for some time) and so one of the Quraish women said, “His Satan has deserted him.” So came the Divine Revelation: “By the forenoon And by the night When it is still! Your Lord (O Muhammad) has neither Forsaken you Nor hated you.” (93.1-3) sahih #2688 In one of the holy Battles a finger of Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) (got wounded and) bled.
