1 The Clear Evidence

لَمْ يَكُنِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

The disbelievers from amongst the People of the Book and the idolaters would not desist (from disbelief) until clear proof came to them

Lam yakuni allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi waalmushrikeena munfakkeena hatta ta/tiyahumu albayyinatu

رَسُولٌ مِّنَ اللَّهِ يَتْلُو صُحُفًا مُّطَهَّرَةً

Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

That (proof) is the (last) Messenger from Allah, who recites (to them) holy pages (of the Glorious Qur’an)

Rasoolun mina Allahi yatloo suhufan mutahharatan

فِيهَا كُتُبٌ قَيِّمَةٌ

In which are (written) correct and firm commandments

Feeha kutubun qayyimatun

وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِن بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنَةُ

These People of the Book did not dissent amongst themselves (with regard to believing in the Prophethood and Messengership of the Last Messenger and recognizing his holy status), until after the clear proof (of the Prophethood of Muhammad [blessings and peace be upon him]) had come to them. (Then, they broke up: some of them accepted belief in him whilst others became deniers and disbelievers out of jealousy,

Wama tafarraqa allatheena ootoo alkitaba illa min baAAdi ma jaat-humu albayyinatu

وَمَا أُمِرُوا إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ حُنَفَاءَ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ الْقَيِّمَةِ

Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Whereas they were commanded to worship only Allah, making their Din (faith and devotion) sincerely His (dissociating from every falsehood) to establish Prayer and to pay Zakat (the Alms-due) regularly. And this is the straight and firm Din (Religion)

Wama omiroo illa liyaAAbudoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu alddeena hunafaa wayuqeemoo alssalata wayu/too alzzakata wathalika deenu alqayyimati

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَالْمُشْرِكِينَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ الْبَرِيَّةِ

Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Indeed, those who disbelieve from amongst the People of the Book and the polytheists (all) will be (abiding) in the Fire of Hell. They are its permanent dwellers. It is they who are the worst of the creation

Inna allatheena kafaroo min ahli alkitabi waalmushrikeena fee nari jahannama khalideena feeha ola-ika hum sharru albariyyati

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ خَيْرُ الْبَرِيَّةِ

Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Indeed, those who believe and keep doing pious actions, it is they who are the best of the creation

Inna allatheena amanoo waAAamiloo alssalihati ola-ika hum khayru albariyyati

جَزَاؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِي مِن تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا رَّضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِيَ رَبَّهُ

Dr. Mohammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Their reward is the Gardens of eternal living in the presence of their Lord, with streams flowing under them. They will live in them forever. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This (status) is meant for the one who fears his Lord

Jazaohum AAinda rabbihim jannatu AAadnin tajree min tahtiha al-anharu khalideena feeha abadan radiya Allahu AAanhum waradoo AAanhu thalika liman khashiya rabbahu
