46:32
وَمَن لَّا یُجِبۡ دَاعِیَ ٱللَّهِ فَلَیۡسَ بِمُعۡجِزࣲ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَیۡسَ لَهُۥ مِن دُونِهِۦۤ أَوۡلِیَاۤءُۚ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ…
Those who fail to respond to God’s call cannot escape God’s power anywhere on earth, nor will they have any protector against Him: such people…
 46:33
أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَلَمۡ یَعۡیَ بِخَلۡقِهِنَّ بِقَـٰدِرٍ عَلَىٰۤ…
Do the disbelievers not understand that God, who created the heavens and earth and did not tire in doing so, has the power to bring…
 46:34
وَیَوۡمَ یُعۡرَضُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ أَلَیۡسَ هَـٰذَا بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّنَاۚ قَالَ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَ…
On the Day the disbelievers are brought before Hell [it will be said to them], ‘Is this not real?’ ‘Yes, by our Lord,’ they will…

فَٱصۡبِرۡ كَمَا صَبَرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلۡعَزۡمِ مِنَ ٱلرُّسُلِ وَلَا تَسۡتَعۡجِل لَّهُمۡۚ كَأَنَّهُمۡ یَوۡمَ یَرَوۡنَ مَا یُوعَدُونَ…

یَـٰقَوۡمَنَاۤ أَجِیبُوا۟ دَاعِیَ ٱللَّهِ وَءَامِنُوا۟ بِهِۦ یَغۡفِرۡ لَكُم مِّن ذُنُوبِكُمۡ وَیُجِرۡكُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِیمࣲ ۝٣١
Our people, respond to the one who calls you to God. Believe in Him: He will forgive you your sins and protect you from a…

قَالُوۤا۟ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِتَأۡفِكَنَا عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَاۤ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِینَ ۝٢٢
but they said, ‘Have you come to turn us away from our gods? If what you say is true, bring down that punishment you threaten…
 46:23
قَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡعِلۡمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُم مَّاۤ أُرۡسِلۡتُ بِهِۦ وَلَـٰكِنِّیۤ أَرَىٰكُمۡ قَوۡمࣰا تَجۡهَلُونَ ۝٢٣
He said, ‘Only God knows when it will come: I simply convey to you the message I am sent with but I can see you…
 46:24
فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡهُ عَارِضࣰا مُّسۡتَقۡبِلَ أَوۡدِیَتِهِمۡ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا عَارِضࣱ مُّمۡطِرُنَاۚ بَلۡ هُوَ مَا ٱسۡتَعۡجَلۡتُم بِهِۦۖ رِیحࣱ…
When they saw a cloud approaching their valley, they said, ‘This cloud will give us rain!’ ‘No indeed! It is what you wanted to hasten:…
 46:25
تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَیۡءِۭ بِأَمۡرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصۡبَحُوا۟ لَا یُرَىٰۤ إِلَّا مَسَـٰكِنُهُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ…
which will destroy everything by its Lord’s command.’ In the morning there was nothing to see except their [ruined] dwellings: this is how We repay…
 46:26
وَلَقَدۡ مَكَّنَّـٰهُمۡ فِیمَاۤ إِن مَّكَّنَّـٰكُمۡ فِیهِ وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ سَمۡعࣰا وَأَبۡصَـٰرࣰا وَأَفۡءِدَةࣰ فَمَاۤ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ سَمۡعُهُمۡ…
We had established them in a way we have not established you [people of Mecca]; We gave them hearing, sight, and hearts, yet their hearing,…
 46:27
وَلَقَدۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مَا حَوۡلَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرَىٰ وَصَرَّفۡنَا ٱلۡءَایَـٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَرۡجِعُونَ ۝٢٧
We have also destroyed other communities that once flourished around you- We had given them various signs so that they might return to the right…
 46:28
فَلَوۡلَا نَصَرَهُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ قُرۡبَانًا ءَالِهَةَۢۖ بَلۡ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنۡهُمۡۚ وَذَ ٰلِكَ إِفۡكُهُمۡ…
so why did their gods not help them, those they set up as gods besides God to bring them nearer to Him? No indeed! They…
 46:29
وَإِذۡ صَرَفۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ نَفَرࣰا مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ یَسۡتَمِعُونَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ فَلَمَّا حَضَرُوهُ قَالُوۤا۟ أَنصِتُوا۟ۖ فَلَمَّا قُضِیَ وَلَّوۡا۟…
We sent a group of jinn to you [Prophet] to listen to the Quran. When they heard it, they said to one another, ‘Be quiet!’…
 46:30
قَالُوا۟ یَـٰقَوۡمَنَاۤ إِنَّا سَمِعۡنَا كِتَـٰبًا أُنزِلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقࣰا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡهِ یَهۡدِیۤ إِلَى…
They said, ‘Our people, we have been listening to a Scripture that came after Moses, confirming previous scriptures, giving guidance to the truth and the…
 46:15
وَوَصَّیۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَ ٰلِدَیۡهِ إِحۡسَـٰنًاۖ حَمَلَتۡهُ أُمُّهُۥ كُرۡهࣰا وَوَضَعَتۡهُ كُرۡهࣰاۖ وَحَمۡلُهُۥ وَفِصَـٰلُهُۥ ثَلَـٰثُونَ شَهۡرًاۚ حَتَّىٰۤ…
We have commanded man to be good to his parents: his mother struggled to carry him and struggled to give birth to him- his bearing…
 46:16
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ نَتَقَبَّلُ عَنۡهُمۡ أَحۡسَنَ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَنَتَجَاوَزُ عَن سَیِّءَاتِهِمۡ فِیۤ أَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۖ وَعۡدَ ٱلصِّدۡقِ…
We accept from such people the best of what they do and We overlook their bad deeds. They will be among the people of Paradise-…
 46:17
وَٱلَّذِی قَالَ لِوَ ٰلِدَیۡهِ أُفࣲّ لَّكُمَاۤ أَتَعِدَانِنِیۤ أَنۡ أُخۡرَجَ وَقَدۡ خَلَتِ ٱلۡقُرُونُ مِن قَبۡلِی وَهُمَا…
But some say to their parents, ‘What? Are you really warning me that I shall be raised alive from my grave, when so many generations…
 46:18
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ ٱلَّذِینَ حَقَّ عَلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فِیۤ أُمَمࣲ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ إِنَّهُمۡ…
The verdict has been passed on such people, along with all the communities that went before them, jinn and human: they are lost
 46:19
وَلِكُلࣲّ دَرَجَـٰتࣱ مِّمَّا عَمِلُوا۟ۖ وَلِیُوَفِّیَهُمۡ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ لَا یُظۡلَمُونَ ۝١٩
Everyone will be ranked according to their deeds and God will repay them in full for what they have done: they will not be wronged
 46:20
وَیَوۡمَ یُعۡرَضُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ أَذۡهَبۡتُمۡ طَیِّبَـٰتِكُمۡ فِی حَیَاتِكُمُ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَٱسۡتَمۡتَعۡتُم بِهَا فَٱلۡیَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ…
On the Day when those who deny the truth are brought before the Fire, it will be said to them, ‘You squandered the good things…
 46:21
۞ وَٱذۡكُرۡ أَخَا عَادٍ إِذۡ أَنذَرَ قَوۡمَهُۥ بِٱلۡأَحۡقَافِ وَقَدۡ خَلَتِ ٱلنُّذُرُ مِنۢ بَیۡنِ یَدَیۡهِ وَمِنۡ…
Mention [Hud] of the tribe of Ad: he warned his people among the sand dunes- other warners have come and gone both before and after…
 46:12
وَمِن قَبۡلِهِۦ كِتَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰۤ إِمَامࣰا وَرَحۡمَةࣰۚ وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبࣱ مُّصَدِّقࣱ لِّسَانًا عَرَبِیࣰّا لِّیُنذِرَ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَبُشۡرَىٰ…
Yet the scripture of Moses was revealed before it as a guide and a mercy, and this is a scripture confirming it in the Arabic…
 46:13
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ قَالُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُ ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَقَـٰمُوا۟ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یَحۡزَنُونَ ۝١٣
For those who say, ‘Our lord is God,’ and then follow the straight path there is no fear, nor shall they grieve
 46:14
أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَا جَزَاۤءَۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ ۝١٤
they are the people of Paradise, there to remain as a reward for what they were doing
 46:3
مَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَاۤ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّىۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ عَمَّاۤ أُنذِرُوا۟…
