وَمَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۤ إِلَّا لَهۡوࣱ وَلَعِبࣱۚ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلۡءَاخِرَةَ لَهِیَ ٱلۡحَیَوَانُۘ لَوۡ كَانُوا۟ یَعۡلَمُونَ…
The life of this world is merely an amusement and a diversion; the true life is in the Hereafter, if only they knew
 29:65
فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡفُلۡكِ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِینَ لَهُ ٱلدِّینَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡبَرِّ إِذَا هُمۡ…
Whenever they go on board a ship they call on God, and dedicate their faith to Him alone, but once He has delivered them safely…
 29:66
لِیَكۡفُرُوا۟ بِمَاۤ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمۡ وَلِیَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ۚ فَسَوۡفَ یَعۡلَمُونَ ۝٦٦
Let them show their ingratitude for what We have given them; let them take their enjoyment- soon they will know
 29:67
أَوَ لَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلۡنَا حَرَمًا ءَامِنࣰا وَیُتَخَطَّفُ ٱلنَّاسُ مِنۡ حَوۡلِهِمۡۚ أَفَبِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ یُؤۡمِنُونَ وَبِنِعۡمَةِ ٱللَّهِ…
Can they not see that We have made [them] a secure sanctuary though all around them people are snatched away? Then how can they believe…
 29:68
وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا أَوۡ كَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ لَمَّا جَاۤءَهُۥۤۚ أَلَیۡسَ فِی جَهَنَّمَ…
Who could be more wicked than the person who invents lies about God, or denies the truth when it comes to him? Is Hell not…
 29:69
وَٱلَّذِینَ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ فِینَا لَنَهۡدِیَنَّهُمۡ سُبُلَنَاۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمَعَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ ۝٦٩
But We shall be sure to guide to Our ways those who strive hard for Our cause: God is with those who do good
 29:63
وَلَىِٕن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَحۡیَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَوۡتِهَا لَیَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ…
If you ask them, ‘Who sends water down from the sky and gives life with it to the earth after it has died?’ they are…
 29:61
وَلَىِٕن سَأَلۡتَهُم مَّنۡ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ وَٱلۡقَمَرَ لَیَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۖ فَأَنَّىٰ یُؤۡفَكُونَ ۝٦١
If you ask the disbelievers who created the heavens and earth and who harnessed the sun and moon, they are sure to say, ‘God.’ Then…
 29:62
ٱللَّهُ یَبۡسُطُ ٱلرِّزۡقَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهِۦ وَیَقۡدِرُ لَهُۥۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣱ ۝٦٢
It is God who gives abundantly to whichever of His servants He will, and sparingly to whichever He will: He has full knowledge of everything
 29:55
یَوۡمَ یَغۡشَىٰهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ مِن فَوۡقِهِمۡ وَمِن تَحۡتِ أَرۡجُلِهِمۡ وَیَقُولُ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ۝٥٥
on the Day when punishment overwhelms them from above and from below their very feet, and they will be told, ‘Now taste the punishment for…
 29:56
یَـٰعِبَادِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِنَّ أَرۡضِی وَ ٰسِعَةࣱ فَإِیَّـٰیَ فَٱعۡبُدُونِ ۝٥٦
My believing servants! My earth is vast, so worship Me and Me alone
 29:57
كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ ذَاۤىِٕقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۖ ثُمَّ إِلَیۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ ۝٥٧
Every soul will taste death, then it is to Us that you will be returned
 29:58
وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ غُرَفࣰا تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۚ نِعۡمَ…
We shall lodge those who believed and did good deeds in lofty dwellings, in the Garden graced with flowing streams, there to remain. How excellent…
 29:59
ٱلَّذِینَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ یَتَوَكَّلُونَ ۝٥٩
those who are steadfast, those who put their trust in their Lord
 29:60
وَكَأَیِّن مِّن دَاۤبَّةࣲ لَّا تَحۡمِلُ رِزۡقَهَا ٱللَّهُ یَرۡزُقُهَا وَإِیَّاكُمۡۚ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ ۝٦٠
How many are the creatures who do not store their sustenance! God sustains them and you: He alone is the All Hearing, the All Knowing
 29:47
وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَۚ فَٱلَّذِینَ ءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُمُ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِهِۦۖ وَمِنۡ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ مَن یُؤۡمِنُ بِهِۦۚ…
This is the way We sent the Scripture to you [Muhammad]. Those to whom We had already given Scripture believe in [the Quran] and so…
 29:48
وَمَا كُنتَ تَتۡلُوا۟ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ مِن كِتَـٰبࣲ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُۥ بِیَمِینِكَۖ إِذࣰا لَّٱرۡتَابَ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ ۝٤٨
You never recited any Scripture before We revealed this one to you; you never wrote one down with your hand. If you had done so,…
 29:49
بَلۡ هُوَ ءَایَـٰتُۢ بَیِّنَـٰتࣱ فِی صُدُورِ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَۚ وَمَا یَجۡحَدُ بِءَایَـٰتِنَاۤ إِلَّا ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ ۝٤٩
But no, [this Quran] is a revelation that is clear to the hearts of those endowed with knowledge. No one refuses to acknowledge Our revelations…
 29:50
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوۡلَاۤ أُنزِلَ عَلَیۡهِ ءَایَـٰتࣱ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡءَایَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَاۤ أَنَا۠ نَذِیرࣱ…
They say, ‘Why have no miracles been sent to him by his Lord?’ Say, ‘Miracles lie in God’s hands; I am simply here to warn…
 29:51
أَوَ لَمۡ یَكۡفِهِمۡ أَنَّاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ یُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَرَحۡمَةࣰ وَذِكۡرَىٰ…
Do they not think it is enough that We have sent down to you the Scripture that is recited to them? There is a mercy…
 29:52
قُلۡ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ بَیۡنِی وَبَیۡنَكُمۡ شَهِیدࣰاۖ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلۡبَـٰطِلِ…
Say, ‘God is sufficient witness between me and you: He knows what is in the heavens and earth. Those who believe in false deities and…
 29:53
وَیَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَلَوۡلَاۤ أَجَلࣱ مُّسَمࣰّى لَّجَاۤءَهُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُۚ وَلَیَأۡتِیَنَّهُم بَغۡتَةࣰ وَهُمۡ لَا یَشۡعُرُونَ ۝٥٣
They challenge you to hasten the punishment: they would already have received a punishment if God had not set a time for it, and indeed…
 29:54
یَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِیطَةُۢ بِٱلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ ۝٥٤
They challenge you to hasten the punishment: Hell will encompass all those who deny the truth
 29:41
مَثَلُ ٱلَّذِینَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوۡلِیَاۤءَ كَمَثَلِ ٱلۡعَنكَبُوتِ ٱتَّخَذَتۡ بَیۡتࣰاۖ وَإِنَّ أَوۡهَنَ ٱلۡبُیُوتِ لَبَیۡتُ…
Those who take protectors other than God can be compared to spiders building themselves houses- the spider’s is the frailest of all houses- if only…
 29:42
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَیۡءࣲۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ۝٤٢
God knows what things they call upon beside Him: He is the Mighty, the Wise
