53:60
وَتَضۡحَكُونَ وَلَا تَبۡكُونَ ٦٠
Why do you laugh instead of weeping
53:61
وَأَنتُمۡ سَـٰمِدُونَ ٦١
Why do you pay no heed
53:62
فَ̅ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅ا۟̅ لِلَّهِ وَٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٦٢ ۩
Bow down before God and worship
53:50
وَأَنَّهُۥۤ أَهۡلَكَ عَادًا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ ٥٠
that it was He who destroyed, in their entirety, ancient 'A
53:51
وَثَمُودَا۟ فَمَاۤ أَبۡقَىٰ ٥١
and Thamud
53:52
وَقَوۡمَ نُوحࣲ مِّن قَبۡلُۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ هُمۡ أَظۡلَمَ وَأَطۡغَىٰ ٥٢
and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent
53:53
وَٱلۡمُؤۡتَفِكَةَ أَهۡوَىٰ ٥٣
that it was He who brought down the ruined citie
53:54
فَغَشَّىٰهَا مَا غَشَّىٰ ٥٤
and enveloped them in the punishment He ordained for them
53:55
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكَ تَتَمَارَىٰ ٥٥
Which then of your Lord’s blessings do you deny
53:56
هَـٰذَا نَذِیرࣱ مِّنَ ٱلنُّذُرِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۤ ٥٦
This is a warning just like the warnings sent in former times
53:57
أَزِفَتِ ٱلۡءَازِفَةُ ٥٧
The imminent Hour draws nea
53:58
لَیۡسَ لَهَا مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ كَاشِفَةٌ ٥٨
and only God can disclose it
53:59
أَفَمِنۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِیثِ تَعۡجَبُونَ ٥٩
Do you [people] marvel at this
53:47
وَأَنَّ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلنَّشۡأَةَ ٱلۡأُخۡرَىٰ ٤٧
that He will undertake the second Creation
53:48
وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَغۡنَىٰ وَأَقۡنَىٰ ٤٨
that it is He who gives wealth and possessions
53:49
وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلشِّعۡرَىٰ ٤٩
that He is the Lord of Sirius
53:40
وَأَنَّ سَعۡیَهُۥ سَوۡفَ یُرَىٰ ٤٠
that his labour will be see
53:41
ثُمَّ یُجۡزَىٰهُ ٱلۡجَزَاۤءَ ٱلۡأَوۡفَىٰ ٤١
and that in the end he will be repaid in full for it
53:42
وَأَنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡمُنتَهَىٰ ٤٢
that the final goal is your Lord
53:43
وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَضۡحَكَ وَأَبۡكَىٰ ٤٣
that it is He who makes people laugh and weep
53:44
وَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَ أَمَاتَ وَأَحۡیَا ٤٤
that it is He who gives death and life
53:45
وَأَنَّهُۥ خَلَقَ ٱلزَّوۡجَیۡنِ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰ ٤٥
that He Himself created the two sexes, male and female
53:46
مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ إِذَا تُمۡنَىٰ ٤٦
from an ejected drop of sperm
53:31
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِیَجۡزِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ أَسَـٰۤءُوا۟ بِمَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَیَجۡزِیَ ٱلَّذِینَ…
Everything in the heavens and earth belongs to God. He will repay those who do evil according to their deeds, and reward, with what is…
53:32
ٱلَّذِینَ یَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَـٰۤىِٕرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَ ٰحِشَ إِلَّا ٱللَّمَمَۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ وَ ٰسِعُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ هُوَ أَعۡلَمُ…
