108:2
فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ
so pray to your Lord and make your sacrifice to Him alone––

قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ

 51:56
وَمَا خَلَقۡتُ ٱلۡجِنَّ وَٱلۡإِنسَ إِلَّا لِیَعۡبُدُونِ ۝٥٦
I created jinn and mankind only to worship Me
 39:2
إِنَّاۤ أَنزَلۡنَاۤ إِلَیۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ فَٱعۡبُدِ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصࣰا لَّهُ ٱلدِّینَ ۝٢
It is We who sent down the Scripture to you [Prophet] with the Truth, so worship God with your total devotion
 33:56
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَتَهُۥ یُصَلُّونَ عَلَى ٱلنَّبِیِّۚ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ صَلُّوا۟ عَلَیۡهِ وَسَلِّمُوا۟ تَسۡلِیمًا ۝٥٦
God and His angels bless the Prophet- so, you who believe, bless him too and give him greetings of peace
 25:63
وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِینَ یَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنࣰا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمࣰا ۝٦٣
The servants of the Lord of Mercy are those who walk humbly on the earth, and who, when the foolish address them, reply, ‘Peace’
 19:65
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَیۡنَهُمَا فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبَـٰدَتِهِۦۚ هَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِیࣰّا ۝٦٥
He is Lord of the heavens and earth and everything in between so worship Him: be steadfast in worshipping Him. Do you know of anyone…
 9:103
خُذۡ مِنۡ أَمۡوَ ٰلِهِمۡ صَدَقَةࣰ تُطَهِّرُهُمۡ وَتُزَكِّیهِم بِهَا وَصَلِّ عَلَیۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّ صَلَوٰتَكَ سَكَنࣱ لَّهُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ…
In order to cleanse and purify them [Prophet], accept a gift out of their property [to make amends] and pray for them- your prayer will…
 7:59
لَقَدۡ أَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ فَقَالَ یَـٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَـٰهٍ غَیۡرُهُۥۤ إِنِّیۤ…
We sent Noah to his people. He said, ‘My people, serve God: you have no god other than Him. I fear for you the punishment…
 6:102
ذَ ٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمۡۖ لَاۤ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَۖ خَـٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ…
This is God, your Lord, there is no God but Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him; He is in charge of everything
 5:76
قُلۡ أَتَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَمۡلِكُ لَكُمۡ ضَرࣰّا وَلَا نَفۡعࣰاۚ وَٱللَّهُ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِیعُ…
Say, ‘How can you worship something other than God, that has no power to do you harm or good? God alone is the All Hearing…
 4:103
فَإِذَا قَضَیۡتُمُ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ فَٱذۡكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قِیَـٰمࣰا وَقُعُودࣰا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِكُمۡۚ فَإِذَا ٱطۡمَأۡنَنتُمۡ فَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۚ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ…
After performing the ritual prayer, continue to remember God- standing, sitting, and lying on your sides- and once you are safe, keep up regular prayer,…
 4:36
۞ وَٱعۡبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُشۡرِكُوا۟ بِهِۦ شَیۡءࣰاۖ وَبِٱلۡوَ ٰلِدَیۡنِ إِحۡسَـٰنࣰا وَبِذِی ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ وَٱلۡیَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلۡمَسَـٰكِینِ وَٱلۡجَارِ…
Worship God; join nothing with Him. Be good to your parents, to relatives, to orphans, to the needy, to neighbours near and far, to travellers…
 2:153
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسۡتَعِینُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّـٰبِرِینَ ۝١٥٣
You who believe, seek help through steadfastness and prayer, for God is with the steadfast
 2:83
وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِیثَـٰقَ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ لَا تَعۡبُدُونَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَبِٱلۡوَ ٰلِدَیۡنِ إِحۡسَانࣰا وَذِی ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ…
Remember when We took a pledge from the Children of Israel: ‘Worship none but God; be good to your parents and kinsfolk, to orphans and…
 2:45
وَٱسۡتَعِینُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِیرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى ٱلۡخَـٰشِعِینَ ۝٤٥
Seek help with steadfastness and prayer- though this is hard indeed for anyone but the humble
 2:43
وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱرۡكَعُوا۟ مَعَ ٱلرَّ ٰكِعِینَ ۝٤٣
Keep up the prayer, pay the prescribed alms, and bow your heads [in worship] with those who bow theirs
 2:21
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱعۡبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُمۡ وَٱلَّذِینَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ ۝٢١
People, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, so that you may be mindful [of Him]
 1:5
إِیَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِیَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِینُ ۝٥
It is You we worship; it is You we ask for help
 2:3
ٱلَّذِینَ یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَیُقِیمُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ یُنفِقُونَ ۝٣
who believe in the unseen, keep up the prayer, and give out of what We have provided for them
