1 Triumph of Islam

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡحَكِیمُ ۝١

What is in the heavens and what is in the earth gave glory to God; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.

sabbaḥa lillahi mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi wahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-ḥakīm

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ ۝٢

O those who believed! For what do you say what you do not do?

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū lima taqūlūna mā lā tafʿalūn

كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُوا۟ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ ۝٣

It is greatly hateful with God that you say what you do not do.

kabura maqtan ʿinda l-lahi an taqūlū mā lā tafʿalūn

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُقَـٰتِلُونَ فِی سَبِیلِهِۦ صَفࣰّا كَأَنَّهُم بُنۡیَـٰنࣱ مَّرۡصُوصࣱ ۝٤

Indeed, God loves those who fight in His way in ranks as if they were a compact building.

inna l-laha yuḥibbu alladhīna yuqātilūna fī sabīlihi ṣaffan ka-annahum bun'yānun marṣūṣu

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ یَـٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُونَنِی وَقَد تَّعۡلَمُونَ أَنِّی رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَیۡكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوۤا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ۝٥

And when Moses said to his people, 'O my people! For what do you annoy me? And certainly you know that I am the messenger of God to you.' Then when they deviated, God made their hearts deviate; and God does not guide the disobedient people.

wa-idh qāla mūsā liqawmihi yāqawmi lima tu'dhūnanī waqad taʿlamūna annī rasūlu l-lahi ilaykum falammā zāghū azāgha l-lahu qulūbahum wal-lahu lā yahdī l-qawma l-fāsiqīn

وَإِذۡ قَالَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ یَـٰبَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ إِنِّی رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَیۡكُم مُّصَدِّقࣰا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیَّ مِنَ ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَمُبَشِّرَۢا بِرَسُولࣲ یَأۡتِی مِنۢ بَعۡدِی ٱسۡمُهُۥۤ أَحۡمَدُۖ فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهُم بِٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتِ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحۡرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ ۝٦

And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, 'O children of Israel! Indeed, I am the messenger of God to you, a verifier for what is before me of the Torah and a herald of glad tidings of a messenger coming after me. His name is Ahmad.' Then when he came to them with the clear proofs, they said, 'This is clear magic.'

wa-idh qāla ʿīsā ub'nu maryama yābanī is'rāīla innī rasūlu l-lahi ilaykum muṣaddiqan limā bayna yadayya mina l-tawrāti wamubashiran birasūlin yatī min baʿdī us'muhu aḥmadu falammā jāahum bil-bayināti qālū hādhā siḥ'run mubīnu

وَمَنۡ أَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡكَذِبَ وَهُوَ یُدۡعَىٰۤ إِلَى ٱلۡإِسۡلَـٰمِۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یَهۡدِی ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ۝٧

And who is more wrong than he who forges the lie against God, while he is called to the submission? And God does not guide the wrongdoing people.

waman aẓlamu mimmani if'tarā ʿalā l-lahi l-kadhiba wahuwa yud'ʿā ilā l-is'lāmi wal-lahu lā yahdī l-qawma l-ẓālimīn

یُرِیدُونَ لِیُطۡفِءُوا۟ نُورَ ٱللَّهِ بِأَفۡوَ ٰهِهِمۡ وَٱللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ ۝٨

They desire to extinguish the light of God with their mouths; and God will perfect His light, even though the disbelievers are averse.

yurīdūna liyuṭ'fiū nūra l-lahi bi-afwāhihim wal-lahu mutimmu nūrihi walaw kariha l-kāfirūn

هُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَرۡسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَدِینِ ٱلۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّینِ كُلِّهِۦ وَلَوۡ كَرِهَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكُونَ ۝٩

He is the one who sent His messenger with the guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over the religion, all of it, even though the idolaters are averse.

huwa alladhī arsala rasūlahu bil-hudā wadīni l-ḥaqi liyuẓ'hirahu ʿalā l-dīni kullihi walaw kariha l-mush'rikūn

2 Establish Truth by Sacrifices

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ هَلۡ أَدُلُّكُمۡ عَلَىٰ تِجَـٰرَةࣲ تُنجِیكُم مِّنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِیمࣲ ۝١٠

O those who believed! Shall I direct you to a merchandise? It will save you from painful punishment.

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū hal adullukum ʿalā tijāratin tunjīkum min ʿadhābin alīmi

تُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُجَـٰهِدُونَ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمۡوَ ٰلِكُمۡ وَأَنفُسِكُمۡۚ ذَ ٰلِكُمۡ خَیۡرࣱ لَّكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ۝١١

Believe in God and His messenger, and strive in the way of God with your wealth and your souls. That is better for you if you know.

tu'minūna bil-lahi warasūlihi watujāhidūna fī sabīli l-lahi bi-amwālikum wa-anfusikum dhālikum khayrun lakum in kuntum taʿlamūn

یَغۡفِرۡ لَكُمۡ ذُنُوبَكُمۡ وَیُدۡخِلۡكُمۡ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ وَمَسَـٰكِنَ طَیِّبَةࣰ فِی جَنَّـٰتِ عَدۡنࣲۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ ۝١٢

He will forgive you your sins, and He will make you enter gardens beneath which the rivers flow, and good dwellings in gardens of Eden. That is the great success.

yaghfir lakum dhunūbakum wayud'khil'kum jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru wamasākina ṭayyibatan fī jannāti ʿadnin dhālika l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīm

وَأُخۡرَىٰ تُحِبُّونَهَاۖ نَصۡرࣱ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَفَتۡحࣱ قَرِیبࣱۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ۝١٣

And another, you will love it, help from God and near victory. And give glad tidings to the believers.

wa-ukh'rā tuḥibbūnahā naṣrun mina l-lahi wafatḥun qarībun wabashiri l-mu'minīn

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوۤا۟ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ لِلۡحَوَارِیِّـۧنَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِیُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِۖ فَءَامَنَت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنۢ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱۖ فَأَیَّدۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُوا۟ ظَـٰهِرِینَ ۝١٤

O those who believed! Be the helpers of God, as Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, 'Who are my helpers to God?' The disciples said, 'We are the helpers of God.' And a party of the children of Israel believed and a party disbelieved. And We strengthened those who believed against their enemy; and they became overcomers.

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū kūnū anṣāra l-lahi kamā qāla ʿīsā ub'nu maryama lil'ḥawāriyyīna man anṣārī ilā l-lahi qāla l-ḥawāriyūna naḥnu anṣāru l-lahi faāmanat ṭāifatun min banī is'rāīla wakafarat ṭāifatun fa-ayyadnā alladhīna āmanū ʿalā ʿaduwwihim fa-aṣbaḥū ẓāhirīn
