1 The Majesty

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

Indeed We have sent it down in the night of the dispensation.

Inna anzalnahu fee laylati alqadri

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ

And what do you know about what the night of the dispensation is?

Wama adraka ma laylatu alqadri

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

Night of the dispensation is better than a thousand months.

Laylatu alqadri khayrun min alfi shahrin

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

The angels come down and the spirit therein with the permission of their Lord from every commandment.

Tanazzalu almala-ikatu waalrroohu feeha bi-ithni rabbihim min kulli amrin

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

Peace it is until the rising of the morning.

Salamun hiya hatta matlaAAi alfajri
