1 The Majesty

إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

We sent it down on the Night of Determination.

Inna anzalnahu fee laylati alqadri

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ

But what can make yousg realize what the Night of Determination is?

Wama adraka ma laylatu alqadri

لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

The Night of Determination is better than a thousand months—

Laylatu alqadri khayrun min alfi shahrin

تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

in it descend the angels, with the Spirit among them, by the leave of their Lord with every command.

Tanazzalu almala-ikatu waalrroohu feeha bi-ithni rabbihim min kulli amrin

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ

Peace! It is until the rise of dawn.

Salamun hiya hatta matlaAAi alfajri
