لَّا تَجۡعَلۡ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَـٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَقۡعُدَ مَذۡمُومࣰا مَّخۡذُولࣰا ۝٢٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity and [thereby] become censured and forsaken
Abdel Haleem: Set up no other god beside God, or you will end up disgraced and forsaken
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Set not up with Allah any other god (O man) lest thou sit down reproved, forsaken
The Criterion, The Standard 25:29 Noun
لَّقَدۡ أَضَلَّنِی عَنِ ٱلذِّكۡرِ بَعۡدَ إِذۡ جَاۤءَنِیۗ وَكَانَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ خَذُولࣰا ۝٢٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter."
Abdel Haleem: he led me away from the Revelation after it reached me. Satan has always betrayed mankind.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: He verily led me astray from the Reminder after it had reached me. Satan was ever man's deserter in the hour of need

إِن یَنصُرۡكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمۡۖ وَإِن یَخۡذُلۡكُمۡ فَمَن ذَا ٱلَّذِی یَنصُرُكُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦۗ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلۡیَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝١٦٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely
Abdel Haleem: If God helps you [believers], no one can overcome you; if He forsakes you, who else can help you? Believers should put their trust in God
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: If Allah is your helper none can overcome you, and if He withdraw His help from you, who is there who can help you after Him? In Allah let believers put their trust
