وَإِن نَّكَثُوۤا۟ أَیۡمَـٰنَهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ عَهۡدِهِمۡ وَطَعَنُوا۟ فِی دِینِكُمۡ فَقَـٰتِلُوۤا۟ أَىِٕمَّةَ ٱلۡكُفۡرِ إِنَّهُمۡ لَاۤ أَیۡمَـٰنَ لَهُمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ یَنتَهُونَ ۝١٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And if they break their oaths after their treaty and defame your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief, for indeed, there are no oaths [sacred] to them; [fight them that] they might cease
Abdel Haleem: But if they break their oath after having made an agreement with you, if they revile your religion, then fight the leaders of disbelief- oaths mean nothing to them- so that they may stop
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And if they break their pledges after their treaty (hath been made with you) and assail your religion, then fight the heads of disbelief - Lo! they have no binding oaths - in order that they may desist

مِّنَ ٱلَّذِینَ هَادُوا۟ یُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلۡكَلِمَ عَن مَّوَاضِعِهِۦ وَیَقُولُونَ سَمِعۡنَا وَعَصَیۡنَا وَٱسۡمَعۡ غَیۡرَ مُسۡمَعࣲ وَرَ ٰعِنَا لَیَّۢا بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِمۡ وَطَعۡنࣰا فِی ٱلدِّینِۚ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ قَالُوا۟ سَمِعۡنَا وَأَطَعۡنَا وَٱسۡمَعۡ وَٱنظُرۡنَا لَكَانَ خَیۡرࣰا لَّهُمۡ وَأَقۡوَمَ وَلَـٰكِن لَّعَنَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِكُفۡرِهِمۡ فَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا ۝٤٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Among the Jews are those who distort words from their [proper] usages and say, "We hear and disobey" and "Hear but be not heard" and "Ra'ina," twisting their tongues and defaming the religion. And if they had said [instead], "We hear and obey" and "Wait for us [to understand]," it would have been better for them and more suitable. But Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few
Abdel Haleem: Some Jews distort the meaning of [revealed] words: they say, ‘We hear and disobey,’ and ‘Listen,’ [adding the insult] ‘May you not hear,’ and ‘Raina [Look at us],’ twisting it abusively with their tongues so as to disparage religion. If they had said, ‘We hear and obey,’ ‘Listen,’ and ‘Unzurna [Look at us],’ that would have been better and more proper for them. But God has spurned them for their defiance; they believe very little
