Noun
ٱلَّذِی جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فِرَ ٰشࣰا وَٱلسَّمَاۤءَ بِنَاۤءࣰ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَأَخۡرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَ ٰتِ رِزۡقࣰا لَّكُمۡۖ فَلَا تَجۡعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ أَندَادࣰا وَأَنتُمۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ ٢٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[He] who made for you the earth a bed [spread out] and the sky a ceiling and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him]
Abdel Haleem:
who spread out the earth for you and built the sky; who sent water down from it and with that water produced things for your sustenance. Do not, knowing this, set up rivals to God
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Who hath appointed the earth a resting-place for you, and the sky a canopy; and causeth water to pour down from the sky, thereby producing fruits as food for you. And do not set up rivals to Allah when ye know (better)
مُتَّكِءِینَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشِۭ بَطَاۤىِٕنُهَا مِنۡ إِسۡتَبۡرَقࣲۚ وَجَنَى ٱلۡجَنَّتَیۡنِ دَانࣲ ٥٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low
Abdel Haleem:
They will sit on couches upholstered with brocade, the fruit of both gardens within easy reach
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand
وَفُرُشࣲ مَّرۡفُوعَةٍ ٣٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And [upon] beds raised high

with incomparable companion

And raised couches
وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ حَمُولَةࣰ وَفَرۡشࣰاۚ كُلُوا۟ مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ ١٤٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And of the grazing livestock are carriers [of burdens] and those [too] small. Eat of what Allah has provided for you and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy
Abdel Haleem:
[He gave you] livestock, as beasts of burden and as food. So eat what God has provided for you and do not follow in Satan’s footsteps: he is your sworn enemy
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And of the cattle (He produceth) some for burdens, some for food. Eat of that which Allah hath bestowed upon you, and follow not the footsteps of the devil, for lo! he is an open foe to you

وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَرَشۡنَـٰهَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَـٰهِدُونَ ٤٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer
Abdel Haleem:
We spread out the earth- how well We smoothed it out!
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)
