78 وَٱللَّهُ أَخۡرَجَكُم مِّنۢ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ شَیۡءࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرَ وَٱلۡأَفۡءِدَةَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ۝٧٨ wal-lahu akhrajakum min buṭūni ummahātikum lā taʿlamūna shayan wajaʿala lakumu l-samʿa wal-abṣāra wal-afidata laʿallakum tashkurūn It is God who brought you out of your mothers’ wombs knowing nothing, and gave you hearing and sight and minds, so that you might be thankful 79 أَلَمۡ یَرَوۡا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّیۡرِ مُسَخَّرَ ٰتࣲ فِی جَوِّ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَا یُمۡسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَـٰتࣲ لِّقَوۡمࣲ یُؤۡمِنُونَ ۝٧٩ alam yaraw ilā l-ṭayri musakharātin fī jawwi l-samāi mā yum'sikuhunna illā l-lahu inna fī dhālika laāyātin liqawmin yu'minūn Do they not see the birds made to fly through the air in the sky? Nothing holds them up except God. There truly are signs in this for those who believe 80 وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنۢ بُیُوتِكُمۡ سَكَنࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّن جُلُودِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِ بُیُوتࣰا تَسۡتَخِفُّونَهَا یَوۡمَ ظَعۡنِكُمۡ وَیَوۡمَ إِقَامَتِكُمۡ وَمِنۡ أَصۡوَافِهَا وَأَوۡبَارِهَا وَأَشۡعَارِهَاۤ أَثَـٰثࣰا وَمَتَـٰعًا إِلَىٰ حِینࣲ ۝٨٠ wal-lahu jaʿala lakum min buyūtikum sakanan wajaʿala lakum min julūdi l-anʿāmi buyūtan tastakhiffūnahā yawma ẓaʿnikum wayawma iqāmatikum wamin aṣwāfihā wa-awbārihā wa-ashʿārihā athāthan wamatāʿan ilā ḥīni It is God who has given you a place of rest in your homes and from the skins of animals made you homes that you find light [to handle] when you travel and when you set up camp; furnishings and comfort for a while from their wool, fur, and hair 81 وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّمَّا خَلَقَ ظِلَـٰلࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِبَالِ أَكۡنَـٰنࣰا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمۡ سَرَ ٰبِیلَ تَقِیكُمُ ٱلۡحَرَّ وَسَرَ ٰبِیلَ تَقِیكُم بَأۡسَكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ یُتِمُّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُسۡلِمُونَ ۝٨١ wal-lahu jaʿala lakum mimmā khalaqa ẓilālan wajaʿala lakum mina l-jibāli aknānan wajaʿala lakum sarābīla taqīkumu l-ḥara wasarābīla taqīkum basakum kadhālika yutimmu niʿ'matahu ʿalaykum laʿallakum tus'limūn It is God who has given you shade from what He has created, and places of shelter in the mountains; garments to protect you from the heat, and garments to protect you in your wars. In this way He perfects His blessings on you, so that you may devote yourselves to Him

82 فَإِن تَوَلَّوۡا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَیۡكَ ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ ۝٨٢ fa-in tawallaw fa-innamā ʿalayka l-balāghu l-mubīn But if they turn away [Prophet], your only duty is to deliver the message clearly

83 یَعۡرِفُونَ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ یُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكۡثَرُهُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ ۝٨٣ yaʿrifūna niʿ'mata l-lahi thumma yunkirūnahā wa-aktharuhumu l-kāfirūn They know God’s blessings, but refuse to recognize them: most of them are ungrateful 84 وَیَوۡمَ نَبۡعَثُ مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةࣲ شَهِیدࣰا ثُمَّ لَا یُؤۡذَنُ لِلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَلَا هُمۡ یُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ ۝٨٤ wayawma nabʿathu min kulli ummatin shahīdan thumma lā yu'dhanu lilladhīna kafarū walā hum yus'taʿtabūn The day will come when We raise up a witness from every community, when the disbelievers will not be allowed to make excuses or amends 85 وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ٱلۡعَذَابَ فَلَا یُخَفَّفُ عَنۡهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ یُنظَرُونَ ۝٨٥ wa-idhā raā alladhīna ẓalamū l-ʿadhāba falā yukhaffafu ʿanhum walā hum yunẓarūn When the evildoers face punishment it will not be lightened for them nor will they be given any respite 86 وَإِذَا رَءَا ٱلَّذِینَ أَشۡرَكُوا۟ شُرَكَاۤءَهُمۡ قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ شُرَكَاۤؤُنَا ٱلَّذِینَ كُنَّا نَدۡعُوا۟ مِن دُونِكَۖ فَأَلۡقَوۡا۟ إِلَیۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلَ إِنَّكُمۡ لَكَـٰذِبُونَ ۝٨٦ wa-idhā raā alladhīna ashrakū shurakāahum qālū rabbanā hāulāi shurakāunā alladhīna kunnā nadʿū min dūnika fa-alqaw ilayhimu l-qawla innakum lakādhibūn When the idolaters see the partners they joined with God they will say, ‘Our Lord, these are the partners we used to invoke beside You,’ but the partners will retort, ‘You are liars,’
