133 وَإِنَّ لُوطࣰا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ ۝١٣٣ wa-inna lūṭan lamina l-mur'salīn Lot was also one of the messengers 134 إِذۡ نَجَّیۡنَـٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥۤ أَجۡمَعِینَ ۝١٣٤ idh najjaynāhu wa-ahlahu ajmaʿīn We saved him and all his family 135 إِلَّا عَجُوزࣰا فِی ٱلۡغَـٰبِرِینَ ۝١٣٥ illā ʿajūzan fī l-ghābirīn except for an old woman who stayed behind 136 ثُمَّ دَمَّرۡنَا ٱلۡءَاخَرِینَ ۝١٣٦ thumma dammarnā l-ākharīn and We destroyed the rest
137 وَإِنَّكُمۡ لَتَمُرُّونَ عَلَیۡهِم مُّصۡبِحِینَ ۝١٣٧ wa-innakum latamurrūna ʿalayhim muṣ'biḥīn You [people] pass by their ruins mornin
138 وَبِٱلَّیۡلِۚ أَفَلَا تَعۡقِلُونَ ۝١٣٨ wabi-al-layli afalā taʿqilūn and night: will you not take heed 139 وَإِنَّ یُونُسَ لَمِنَ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ ۝١٣٩ wa-inna yūnusa lamina l-mur'salīn Jonah too was one of the messengers 140 إِذۡ أَبَقَ إِلَى ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ ۝١٤٠ idh abaqa ilā l-ful'ki l-mashḥūn He fled to the overloaded ship 141 فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُدۡحَضِینَ ۝١٤١ fasāhama fakāna mina l-mud'ḥaḍīn They cast lots, he suffered defeat
