وَخَلَقَ ٱلۡجَاۤنَّ مِن مَّارِجࣲ مِّن نَّارࣲ ١٥
wakhalaqa l-jāna min mārijin min nāri
the jinn out of smokeless fire
16
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٦
fabi-ayyi ālāi rabbikumā tukadhibān
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny
17
رَبُّ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَیۡنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبَیۡنِ ١٧
rabbu l-mashriqayni warabbu l-maghribayn
He is Lord of the two risings and Lord of the two settings
18
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٨
fabi-ayyi ālāi rabbikumā tukadhibān
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny
19
مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَیۡنِ یَلۡتَقِیَانِ ١٩
maraja l-baḥrayni yaltaqiyān
He released the two bodies of [fresh and salt] water. They meet
20
بَیۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخࣱ لَّا یَبۡغِیَانِ ٢٠
baynahumā barzakhun lā yabghiyān
yet there is a barrier between them they do not cross
21
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٢١
fabi-ayyi ālāi rabbikumā tukadhibān
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny
22
یَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا ٱللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَٱلۡمَرۡجَانُ ٢٢
yakhruju min'humā l-lu'lu-u wal-marjān
Pearls come forth from them: large ones, and small, brilliant ones
23
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ٢٣
fabi-ayyi ālāi rabbikumā tukadhibān
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny
