1 The Judgment

۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ٱتَّقُوا۟ رَبَّكُمۡۚ إِنَّ زَلۡزَلَةَ ٱلسَّاعَةِ شَیۡءٌ عَظِیمࣱ ۝١

Bakhtiari Nejad

People, be cautious of your Lord. Indeed, earthquake of the Hour is an awful thing.

yāayyuhā l-nāsu ittaqū rabbakum inna zalzalata l-sāʿati shayon ʿaẓīmu

یَوۡمَ تَرَوۡنَهَا تَذۡهَلُ كُلُّ مُرۡضِعَةٍ عَمَّاۤ أَرۡضَعَتۡ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمۡلٍ حَمۡلَهَا وَتَرَى ٱلنَّاسَ سُكَـٰرَىٰ وَمَا هُم بِسُكَـٰرَىٰ وَلَـٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ ٱللَّهِ شَدِیدࣱ ۝٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

On the day you see it, every nursing mother forgets about what she nurses, and every pregnant female drops her load (and miscarries), and you see the people intoxicated while they are not intoxicated, but God’s punishment is severe.

yawma tarawnahā tadhhalu kullu mur'ḍiʿatin ʿammā arḍaʿat wataḍaʿu kullu dhāti ḥamlin ḥamlahā watarā l-nāsa sukārā wamā hum bisukārā walākinna ʿadhāba l-lahi shadīdu

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن یُجَـٰدِلُ فِی ٱللَّهِ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲ وَیَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَیۡطَـٰنࣲ مَّرِیدࣲ ۝٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

And some people argue about God without any knowledge and follow every rebellious devil.

wamina l-nāsi man yujādilu fī l-lahi bighayri ʿil'min wayattabiʿu kulla shayṭānin marīdi

كُتِبَ عَلَیۡهِ أَنَّهُۥ مَن تَوَلَّاهُ فَأَنَّهُۥ یُضِلُّهُۥ وَیَهۡدِیهِ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِیرِ ۝٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

It is prescribed against him (Satan) that anyone who takes him as a friend, then he misguides him and guides him to punishment of the burning fire.

kutiba ʿalayhi annahu man tawallāhu fa-annahu yuḍilluhu wayahdīhi ilā ʿadhābi l-saʿīr

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمۡ فِی رَیۡبࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡبَعۡثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقۡنَـٰكُم مِّن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ ثُمَّ مِنۡ عَلَقَةࣲ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضۡغَةࣲ مُّخَلَّقَةࣲ وَغَیۡرِ مُخَلَّقَةࣲ لِّنُبَیِّنَ لَكُمۡۚ وَنُقِرُّ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡحَامِ مَا نَشَاۤءُ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّى ثُمَّ نُخۡرِجُكُمۡ طِفۡلࣰا ثُمَّ لِتَبۡلُغُوۤا۟ أَشُدَّكُمۡۖ وَمِنكُم مَّن یُتَوَفَّىٰ وَمِنكُم مَّن یُرَدُّ إِلَىٰۤ أَرۡذَلِ ٱلۡعُمُرِ لِكَیۡلَا یَعۡلَمَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ عِلۡمࣲ شَیۡءࣰاۚ وَتَرَى ٱلۡأَرۡضَ هَامِدَةࣰ فَإِذَاۤ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَیۡهَا ٱلۡمَاۤءَ ٱهۡتَزَّتۡ وَرَبَتۡ وَأَنۢبَتَتۡ مِن كُلِّ زَوۡجِۭ بَهِیجࣲ ۝٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

People, if you are in doubt about the Resurrection, then (consider that) indeed We created you from dust, then from fertilized egg (zygote), then from a (dangling, clinging, and leach like) blood clot, then from a piece of chewed flesh (embryo) formed and unformed in order to clarify for you (that We are capable of everything). And We settle what We want in the wombs for a limited period, then We bring you out as a baby, then you reach your full maturity (and strength), and some of you die and some of you are returned to the lowest part of life, so that they do not know anything after knowing (and they forget what they knew). And you see the earth barren (and lifeless), then when We send down the rain on it, it revives and grows and produces all kinds of beautiful (plants).

yāayyuhā l-nāsu in kuntum fī raybin mina l-baʿthi fa-innā khalaqnākum min turābin thumma min nuṭ'fatin thumma min ʿalaqatin thumma min muḍ'ghatin mukhallaqatin waghayri mukhallaqatin linubayyina lakum wanuqirru fī l-arḥāmi mā nashāu ilā ajalin musamman thumma nukh'rijukum ṭif'lan thumma litablughū ashuddakum waminkum man yutawaffā waminkum man yuraddu ilā ardhali l-ʿumuri likaylā yaʿlama min baʿdi ʿil'min shayan watarā l-arḍa hāmidatan fa-idhā anzalnā ʿalayhā l-māa ih'tazzat warabat wa-anbatat min kulli zawjin bahīji

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَأَنَّهُۥ یُحۡیِ ٱلۡمَوۡتَىٰ وَأَنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ ۝٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

That is because God is the truth, and He gives life to the dead, and He is capable of everything.

dhālika bi-anna l-laha huwa l-ḥaqu wa-annahu yuḥ'yī l-mawtā wa-annahu ʿalā kulli shayin qadīru

وَأَنَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ ءَاتِیَةࣱ لَّا رَیۡبَ فِیهَا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَبۡعَثُ مَن فِی ٱلۡقُبُورِ ۝٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

And the Hour (Resurrection) is coming, there is no doubt about it, and God raises those in the graves.

wa-anna l-sāʿata ātiyatun lā rayba fīhā wa-anna l-laha yabʿathu man fī l-qubūr

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن یُجَـٰدِلُ فِی ٱللَّهِ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲ وَلَا هُدࣰى وَلَا كِتَـٰبࣲ مُّنِیرࣲ ۝٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

And some people argue about God without any knowledge or any guidance or any enlightening book.

wamina l-nāsi man yujādilu fī l-lahi bighayri ʿil'min walā hudan walā kitābin munīri

ثَانِیَ عِطۡفِهِۦ لِیُضِلَّ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِۖ لَهُۥ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا خِزۡیࣱۖ وَنُذِیقُهُۥ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِیقِ ۝٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

Twisting his neck (being arrogant) to misguide (people) away from God’s way. He will have humiliation in this world, and We will make him taste punishment of the burning on the Resurrection Day.

thāniya ʿiṭ'fihi liyuḍilla ʿan sabīli l-lahi lahu fī l-dun'yā khiz'yun wanudhīquhu yawma l-qiyāmati ʿadhāba l-ḥarīq

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتۡ یَدَاكَ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَیۡسَ بِظَلَّـٰمࣲ لِّلۡعَبِیدِ ۝١٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

(He will be told:) “This is for what your hands have sent ahead, and God is not unjust to His servants.”

dhālika bimā qaddamat yadāka wa-anna l-laha laysa biẓallāmin lil'ʿabīd

2 Certainty of Divine Help

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن یَعۡبُدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرۡفࣲۖ فَإِنۡ أَصَابَهُۥ خَیۡرٌ ٱطۡمَأَنَّ بِهِۦۖ وَإِنۡ أَصَابَتۡهُ فِتۡنَةٌ ٱنقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦ خَسِرَ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَٱلۡءَاخِرَةَۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ ۝١١

Bakhtiari Nejad

And some people serve God on edge (doubtfully), so if any good happens to him, he is content with it, and if misfortune happens to him, he turns on his face (returns to his old ways) losing the world and the Hereafter. That is the clear loss.

wamina l-nāsi man yaʿbudu l-laha ʿalā ḥarfin fa-in aṣābahu khayrun iṭ'ma-anna bihi wa-in aṣābathu fit'natun inqalaba ʿalā wajhihi khasira l-dun'yā wal-ākhirata dhālika huwa l-khus'rānu l-mubīn

یَدۡعُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا یَضُرُّهُۥ وَمَا لَا یَنفَعُهُۥۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلضَّلَـٰلُ ٱلۡبَعِیدُ ۝١٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

He calls on other than God, something (or someone) that does not harm him and does not benefit him. That is the major error.

yadʿū min dūni l-lahi mā lā yaḍurruhu wamā lā yanfaʿuhu dhālika huwa l-ḍalālu l-baʿīd

یَدۡعُوا۟ لَمَن ضَرُّهُۥۤ أَقۡرَبُ مِن نَّفۡعِهِۦۚ لَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡعَشِیرُ ۝١٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

He calls on someone whose harm is closer (and more likely) than his benefit, certainly a miserable supporter (and friend) and certainly a miserable companion.

yadʿū laman ḍarruhu aqrabu min nafʿihi labi'sa l-mawlā walabi'sa l-ʿashīr

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَفۡعَلُ مَا یُرِیدُ ۝١٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

Indeed, God admits those who believe and do good to gardens which rivers flow through them. Indeed, God does what He wants.

inna l-laha yud'khilu alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru inna l-laha yafʿalu mā yurīd

مَن كَانَ یَظُنُّ أَن لَّن یَنصُرَهُ ٱللَّهُ فِی ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَٱلۡءَاخِرَةِ فَلۡیَمۡدُدۡ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ ثُمَّ لۡیَقۡطَعۡ فَلۡیَنظُرۡ هَلۡ یُذۡهِبَنَّ كَیۡدُهُۥ مَا یَغِیظُ ۝١٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

If anyone thinks that God never helps him (Muhammad) in this world and the Hereafter, then let him stretch a rope to the ceiling (and hang himself with it), then let him cut it off and see whether his plan gets rid of what angers him.

man kāna yaẓunnu an lan yanṣurahu l-lahu fī l-dun'yā wal-ākhirati falyamdud bisababin ilā l-samāi thumma l'yaqṭaʿ falyanẓur hal yudh'hibanna kayduhu mā yaghīẓ

وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَـٰهُ ءَایَـٰتِۭ بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَهۡدِی مَن یُرِیدُ ۝١٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

And that is how We sent it down as clear signs, and that God guides anyone He wants.

wakadhālika anzalnāhu āyātin bayyinātin wa-anna l-laha yahdī man yurīd

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱلَّذِینَ هَادُوا۟ وَٱلصَّـٰبِءِینَ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰ وَٱلۡمَجُوسَ وَٱلَّذِینَ أَشۡرَكُوۤا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَفۡصِلُ بَیۡنَهُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ شَهِیدٌ ۝١٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

Indeed, God judges between those who believe (in Quran), and the Jews and the Sabians and the Christians and the Zoroastrians, and those who associated (partners with God) on the Resurrection Day. Indeed, God is witness over everything.

inna alladhīna āmanū wa-alladhīna hādū wal-ṣābiīna wal-naṣārā wal-majūsa wa-alladhīna ashrakū inna l-laha yafṣilu baynahum yawma l-qiyāmati inna l-laha ʿalā kulli shayin shahīdu

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅ ̅لَ̅هُ̅ۥ̅ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَن فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ وَٱلنُّجُومُ وَٱلۡجِبَالُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ وَٱلدَّوَاۤبُّ وَكَثِیرࣱ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِۖ وَكَثِیرٌ حَقَّ عَلَیۡهِ ٱلۡعَذَابُۗ وَمَن یُهِنِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن مُّكۡرِمٍۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَفۡعَلُ مَا یَشَاۤءُ ۝١٨ ۩

Bakhtiari Nejad

Do you not see that it is God that everyone in the skies and everyone on the earth, and the sun and the moon and the stars, and the mountains and the trees, and the animals and many people humble themselves before Him? And many deserve the punishment, and whomever God humiliates then he has no one to honor him. Indeed, God does what He wants.

alam tara anna l-laha yasjudu lahu man fī l-samāwāti waman fī l-arḍi wal-shamsu wal-qamaru wal-nujūmu wal-jibālu wal-shajaru wal-dawābu wakathīrun mina l-nāsi wakathīrun ḥaqqa ʿalayhi l-ʿadhābu waman yuhini l-lahu famā lahu min muk'rimin inna l-laha yafʿalu mā yashā

۞ هَـٰذَانِ خَصۡمَانِ ٱخۡتَصَمُوا۟ فِی رَبِّهِمۡۖ فَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ قُطِّعَتۡ لَهُمۡ ثِیَابࣱ مِّن نَّارࣲ یُصَبُّ مِن فَوۡقِ رُءُوسِهِمُ ٱلۡحَمِیمُ ۝١٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

These are two opposing parties (believers and disbelievers) who argue about their Lord. So, clothes of fire are cut for those who disbelieve, and boiling water will be poured over their heads.

hādhāni khaṣmāni ikh'taṣamū fī rabbihim fa-alladhīna kafarū quṭṭiʿat lahum thiyābun min nārin yuṣabbu min fawqi ruūsihimu l-ḥamīm

یُصۡهَرُ بِهِۦ مَا فِی بُطُونِهِمۡ وَٱلۡجُلُودُ ۝٢٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

Everything in their stomachs and their skins are melted with it,

yuṣ'haru bihi mā fī buṭūnihim wal-julūd

وَلَهُم مَّقَـٰمِعُ مِنۡ حَدِیدࣲ ۝٢١

Bakhtiari Nejad

and clubs of iron are for them.

walahum maqāmiʿu min ḥadīdi

كُلَّمَاۤ أَرَادُوۤا۟ أَن یَخۡرُجُوا۟ مِنۡهَا مِنۡ غَمٍّ أُعِیدُوا۟ فِیهَا وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِیقِ ۝٢٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

Whenever they want to get out of there because of grief (and misery), they are returned into it, and (are told:) “Taste the burning punishment.”

kullamā arādū an yakhrujū min'hā min ghammin uʿīdū fīhā wadhūqū ʿadhāba l-ḥarīq

3 Believers are Triumphant

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُدۡخِلُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ یُحَلَّوۡنَ فِیهَا مِنۡ أَسَاوِرَ مِن ذَهَبࣲ وَلُؤۡلُؤࣰاۖ وَلِبَاسُهُمۡ فِیهَا حَرِیرࣱ ۝٢٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

Indeed, God admits those who believe and do good into the gardens that rivers flow through them, and they will be decorated with bracelets of gold and pearls in there, and their clothes will be of silk in there.

inna l-laha yud'khilu alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru yuḥallawna fīhā min asāwira min dhahabin walu'lu-an walibāsuhum fīhā ḥarīru

وَهُدُوۤا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّیِّبِ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ وَهُدُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡحَمِیدِ ۝٢٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

And they will be guided to the good words (praising God), and they will be guided to the path of the praiseworthy (paradise).

wahudū ilā l-ṭayibi mina l-qawli wahudū ilā ṣirāṭi l-ḥamīd

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَیَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ ٱلَّذِی جَعَلۡنَـٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ سَوَاۤءً ٱلۡعَـٰكِفُ فِیهِ وَٱلۡبَادِۚ وَمَن یُرِدۡ فِیهِ بِإِلۡحَادِۭ بِظُلۡمࣲ نُّذِقۡهُ مِنۡ عَذَابٍ أَلِیمࣲ ۝٢٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

Indeed, those who disbelieve and obstruct God's way and the Sacred Mosque, which We made it equal for the people whether (those who are) the resident in it or the visitors, and anyone who wants to deviate in there with wrongdoing, We make them taste from a painful punishment.

inna alladhīna kafarū wayaṣuddūna ʿan sabīli l-lahi wal-masjidi l-ḥarāmi alladhī jaʿalnāhu lilnnāsi sawāan l-ʿākifu fīhi wal-bādi waman yurid fīhi bi-il'ḥādin biẓul'min nudhiq'hu min ʿadhābin alīmi

4 Pilgrimage

وَإِذۡ بَوَّأۡنَا لِإِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ مَكَانَ ٱلۡبَیۡتِ أَن لَّا تُشۡرِكۡ بِی شَیۡءࣰا وَطَهِّرۡ بَیۡتِیَ لِلطَّاۤىِٕفِینَ وَٱلۡقَاۤىِٕمِینَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ ۝٢٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

And (remember) when We put up Abraham at the site of the house (saying:) “Do not associate anything (as partner) with Me, and cleanse My house for those who go around (it) and those who stand (in prayer) and those who bow down humbly.”

wa-idh bawwanā li-ib'rāhīma makāna l-bayti an lā tush'rik bī shayan waṭahhir baytiya lilṭṭāifīna wal-qāimīna wal-rukaʿi l-sujūd

وَأَذِّن فِی ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلۡحَجِّ یَأۡتُوكَ رِجَالࣰا وَعَلَىٰ كُلِّ ضَامِرࣲ یَأۡتِینَ مِن كُلِّ فَجٍّ عَمِیقࣲ ۝٢٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

And announce the Hajj (pilgrimage) to people, they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel (or any other ride), coming from every distant area,

wa-adhin fī l-nāsi bil-ḥaji yatūka rijālan waʿalā kulli ḍāmirin yatīna min kulli fajjin ʿamīqi

لِّیَشۡهَدُوا۟ مَنَـٰفِعَ لَهُمۡ وَیَذۡكُرُوا۟ ٱسۡمَ ٱللَّهِ فِیۤ أَیَّامࣲ مَّعۡلُومَـٰتٍ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِیمَةِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِۖ فَكُلُوا۟ مِنۡهَا وَأَطۡعِمُوا۟ ٱلۡبَاۤىِٕسَ ٱلۡفَقِیرَ ۝٢٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

so that they witness the benefits (provided) for them, and to mention God’s name on specified days over what He provided for them from the livestock animals, so eat from them and feed the suffering poor.

liyashhadū manāfiʿa lahum wayadhkurū is'ma l-lahi fī ayyāmin maʿlūmātin ʿalā mā razaqahum min bahīmati l-anʿāmi fakulū min'hā wa-aṭʿimū l-bāisa l-faqīr

ثُمَّ لۡیَقۡضُوا۟ تَفَثَهُمۡ وَلۡیُوفُوا۟ نُذُورَهُمۡ وَلۡیَطَّوَّفُوا۟ بِٱلۡبَیۡتِ ٱلۡعَتِیقِ ۝٢٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

Then they should do away with their dirtiness (by cleansing themselves) and fulfill their pledges and go around the ancient house (Ka’aba).

thumma l'yaqḍū tafathahum walyūfū nudhūrahum walyaṭṭawwafū bil-bayti l-ʿatīq

ذَ ٰلِكَۖ وَمَن یُعَظِّمۡ حُرُمَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَهُوَ خَیۡرࣱ لَّهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦۗ وَأُحِلَّتۡ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمُ إِلَّا مَا یُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡكُمۡۖ فَٱجۡتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلرِّجۡسَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَوۡثَـٰنِ وَٱجۡتَنِبُوا۟ قَوۡلَ ٱلزُّورِ ۝٣٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

That is (the Hajj pilgrimage), and whoever honors God’s requirements (and restrictions), then it is better for him in his Lord's view. And the livestock are made lawful for you except what is read to you. So, avoid the filth of the idols, and avoid false words (and lies),

dhālika waman yuʿaẓẓim ḥurumāti l-lahi fahuwa khayrun lahu ʿinda rabbihi wa-uḥillat lakumu l-anʿāmu illā mā yut'lā ʿalaykum fa-ij'tanibū l-rij'sa mina l-awthāni wa-ij'tanibū qawla l-zūr

حُنَفَاۤءَ لِلَّهِ غَیۡرَ مُشۡرِكِینَ بِهِۦۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَتَخۡطَفُهُ ٱلطَّیۡرُ أَوۡ تَهۡوِی بِهِ ٱلرِّیحُ فِی مَكَانࣲ سَحِیقࣲ ۝٣١

Bakhtiari Nejad

being monotheist for God, not associating (any partner) with Him. Whoever associates (any partner) with God, then it is as if he falls from the sky and the birds snatch him, or the wind blows him to a remote place.

ḥunafāa lillahi ghayra mush'rikīna bihi waman yush'rik bil-lahi faka-annamā kharra mina l-samāi fatakhṭafuhu l-ṭayru aw tahwī bihi l-rīḥu fī makānin saḥīqi

ذَ ٰلِكَۖ وَمَن یُعَظِّمۡ شَعَـٰۤىِٕرَ ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقۡوَى ٱلۡقُلُوبِ ۝٣٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

That is how it is, and whoever honors God’s rituals then indeed it is from self control of the hearts.

dhālika waman yuʿaẓẓim shaʿāira l-lahi fa-innahā min taqwā l-qulūb

لَكُمۡ فِیهَا مَنَـٰفِعُ إِلَىٰۤ أَجَلࣲ مُّسَمࣰّى ثُمَّ مَحِلُّهَاۤ إِلَى ٱلۡبَیۡتِ ٱلۡعَتِیقِ ۝٣٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

There are benefits in that (the livestock) for you for a limited period then their lawful place (of sacrifice) is at the ancient house (Ka’aba).

lakum fīhā manāfiʿu ilā ajalin musamman thumma maḥilluhā ilā l-bayti l-ʿatīq

5 Sacrifices

وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةࣲ جَعَلۡنَا مَنسَكࣰا لِّیَذۡكُرُوا۟ ٱسۡمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَىٰ مَا رَزَقَهُم مِّنۢ بَهِیمَةِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَـٰمِۗ فَإِلَـٰهُكُمۡ إِلَـٰهࣱ وَ ٰحِدࣱ فَلَهُۥۤ أَسۡلِمُوا۟ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُخۡبِتِینَ ۝٣٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

And for every community (of faith) We made a ritual (of sacrifice) so that they mention God’s name over what He provided them from the livestock animals. Your god is the One god, so submit to Him and give good news to those who humble themselves,

walikulli ummatin jaʿalnā mansakan liyadhkurū is'ma l-lahi ʿalā mā razaqahum min bahīmati l-anʿāmi fa-ilāhukum ilāhun wāḥidun falahu aslimū wabashiri l-mukh'bitīn

ٱلَّذِینَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ ٱللَّهُ وَجِلَتۡ قُلُوبُهُمۡ وَٱلصَّـٰبِرِینَ عَلَىٰ مَاۤ أَصَابَهُمۡ وَٱلۡمُقِیمِی ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَمِمَّا رَزَقۡنَـٰهُمۡ یُنفِقُونَ ۝٣٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

those whose hearts are scared when God is mentioned, and they are patient about what happens to them, and they perform mandatory prayer, and they spend (in God's way) from what We have provided for them.

alladhīna idhā dhukira l-lahu wajilat qulūbuhum wal-ṣābirīna ʿalā mā aṣābahum wal-muqīmī l-ṣalati wamimmā razaqnāhum yunfiqūn

وَٱلۡبُدۡنَ جَعَلۡنَـٰهَا لَكُم مِّن شَعَـٰۤىِٕرِ ٱللَّهِ لَكُمۡ فِیهَا خَیۡرࣱۖ فَٱذۡكُرُوا۟ ٱسۡمَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡهَا صَوَاۤفَّۖ فَإِذَا وَجَبَتۡ جُنُوبُهَا فَكُلُوا۟ مِنۡهَا وَأَطۡعِمُوا۟ ٱلۡقَانِعَ وَٱلۡمُعۡتَرَّۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ سَخَّرۡنَـٰهَا لَكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَشۡكُرُونَ ۝٣٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

And We made the fat camel/cow as part of God's rituals (of pilgrimage) for you. There is goodness in them for you, so mention God’s name on them as they are lined up, then when they fall (on the ground) on their sides, eat from them and feed the poor and the beggar. That is how We put them under your control (and in your service), so you may be thankful.

wal-bud'na jaʿalnāhā lakum min shaʿāiri l-lahi lakum fīhā khayrun fa-udh'kurū is'ma l-lahi ʿalayhā ṣawāffa fa-idhā wajabat junūbuhā fakulū min'hā wa-aṭʿimū l-qāniʿa wal-muʿ'tara kadhālika sakharnāhā lakum laʿallakum tashkurūn

لَن یَنَالَ ٱللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاۤؤُهَا وَلَـٰكِن یَنَالُهُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ مِنكُمۡۚ كَذَ ٰلِكَ سَخَّرَهَا لَكُمۡ لِتُكَبِّرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا هَدَىٰكُمۡۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِینَ ۝٣٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

Their meat and their blood would never reach God, but your self control reaches Him. That is how He put them under your control (and in your service) so that you magnify God because He guided you, and give good news to the good doers.

lan yanāla l-laha luḥūmuhā walā dimāuhā walākin yanāluhu l-taqwā minkum kadhālika sakharahā lakum litukabbirū l-laha ʿalā mā hadākum wabashiri l-muḥ'sinīn

۞ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُدَ ٰفِعُ عَنِ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ كُلَّ خَوَّانࣲ كَفُورٍ ۝٣٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

Indeed, God defends those who believe. Indeed, God does not like any ungrateful traitor.

inna l-laha yudāfiʿu ʿani alladhīna āmanū inna l-laha lā yuḥibbu kulla khawwānin kafūri

6 Believers permitted to fight

أُذِنَ لِلَّذِینَ یُقَـٰتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ظُلِمُوا۟ۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصۡرِهِمۡ لَقَدِیرٌ ۝٣٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

(Fighting) is permitted for those who are attacked (and war is waged against them), because they are wronged, and God is certainly able to help them (to victory),

udhina lilladhīna yuqātalūna bi-annahum ẓulimū wa-inna l-laha ʿalā naṣrihim laqadīru

ٱلَّذِینَ أُخۡرِجُوا۟ مِن دِیَـٰرِهِم بِغَیۡرِ حَقٍّ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَقُولُوا۟ رَبُّنَا ٱللَّهُۗ وَلَوۡلَا دَفۡعُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلنَّاسَ بَعۡضَهُم بِبَعۡضࣲ لَّهُدِّمَتۡ صَوَ ٰمِعُ وَبِیَعࣱ وَصَلَوَ ٰتࣱ وَمَسَـٰجِدُ یُذۡكَرُ فِیهَا ٱسۡمُ ٱللَّهِ كَثِیرࣰاۗ وَلَیَنصُرَنَّ ٱللَّهُ مَن یَنصُرُهُۥۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیزٌ ۝٤٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

those who have been unjustly driven out of their homes only because they said: “Our Lord is God.” If God had not repelled some people by others, certainly (many) monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques in which God’s name is mentioned often, would have been demolished. And God shall help anyone who helps Him. Indeed, God is strong and powerful.

alladhīna ukh'rijū min diyārihim bighayri ḥaqqin illā an yaqūlū rabbunā l-lahu walawlā dafʿu l-lahi l-nāsa baʿḍahum bibaʿḍin lahuddimat ṣawāmiʿu wabiyaʿun waṣalawātun wamasājidu yudh'karu fīhā us'mu l-lahi kathīran walayanṣuranna l-lahu man yanṣuruhu inna l-laha laqawiyyun ʿazīzu

ٱلَّذِینَ إِن مَّكَّنَّـٰهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَقَامُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتَوُا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَمَرُوا۟ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَنَهَوۡا۟ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡأُمُورِ ۝٤١

Bakhtiari Nejad

(They are) those who, if We make them powerful on the earth, perform mandatory prayer and give to mandatory charity and instruct to the acceptable (and right) and prohibit from the unacceptable (and wrong). And outcome of all affairs belongs to God.

alladhīna in makkannāhum fī l-arḍi aqāmū l-ṣalata waātawū l-zakata wa-amarū bil-maʿrūfi wanahaw ʿani l-munkari walillahi ʿāqibatu l-umūr

وَإِن یُكَذِّبُوكَ فَقَدۡ كَذَّبَتۡ قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمُ نُوحࣲ وَعَادࣱ وَثَمُودُ ۝٤٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

And if they deny you, people of Noah and Aad and Thamud also denied (their prophets) before them,

wa-in yukadhibūka faqad kadhabat qablahum qawmu nūḥin waʿādun wathamūd

وَقَوۡمُ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَ وَقَوۡمُ لُوطࣲ ۝٤٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

and (so did) people of Abraham and people of Lot,

waqawmu ib'rāhīma waqawmu lūṭi

وَأَصۡحَـٰبُ مَدۡیَنَۖ وَكُذِّبَ مُوسَىٰۖ فَأَمۡلَیۡتُ لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَیۡفَ كَانَ نَكِیرِ ۝٤٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

and inhabitants of Midian (people of Shu'aib/Jethro), and Moses was also denied, so I gave the disbelievers a break then I took them, so how was My rejection (and punishment)?

wa-aṣḥābu madyana wakudhiba mūsā fa-amlaytu lil'kāfirīna thumma akhadhtuhum fakayfa kāna nakīr

فَكَأَیِّن مِّن قَرۡیَةٍ أَهۡلَكۡنَـٰهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةࣱ فَهِیَ خَاوِیَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا وَبِئۡرࣲ مُّعَطَّلَةࣲ وَقَصۡرࣲ مَّشِیدٍ ۝٤٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

And how many towns did We destroy while it was wrongdoer, so it (was ruined and) fell on its roofs and (having) abandoned wells and towering castles.

faka-ayyin min qaryatin ahlaknāhā wahiya ẓālimatun fahiya khāwiyatun ʿalā ʿurūshihā wabi'rin muʿaṭṭalatin waqaṣrin mashīdi

أَفَلَمۡ یَسِیرُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمۡ قُلُوبࣱ یَعۡقِلُونَ بِهَاۤ أَوۡ ءَاذَانࣱ یَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَاۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعۡمَى ٱلۡأَبۡصَـٰرُ وَلَـٰكِن تَعۡمَى ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِی فِی ٱلصُّدُورِ ۝٤٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

Have they not traveled in the land, so that they have hearts to understand with it or ears to hear with it (to understand and hear the truth)? Indeed, the eyes are not blind, but the hearts which are in the chests are blind.

afalam yasīrū fī l-arḍi fatakūna lahum qulūbun yaʿqilūna bihā aw ādhānun yasmaʿūna bihā fa-innahā lā taʿmā l-abṣāru walākin taʿmā l-qulūbu allatī fī l-ṣudūr

وَیَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَكَ بِٱلۡعَذَابِ وَلَن یُخۡلِفَ ٱللَّهُ وَعۡدَهُۥۚ وَإِنَّ یَوۡمًا عِندَ رَبِّكَ كَأَلۡفِ سَنَةࣲ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ۝٤٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

They ask you to hurry up with the punishment, while God never breaks His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of what you count.

wayastaʿjilūnaka bil-ʿadhābi walan yukh'lifa l-lahu waʿdahu wa-inna yawman ʿinda rabbika ka-alfi sanatin mimmā taʿuddūn

وَكَأَیِّن مِّن قَرۡیَةٍ أَمۡلَیۡتُ لَهَا وَهِیَ ظَالِمَةࣱ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهَا وَإِلَیَّ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ۝٤٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

And how many towns did I give it a break while it was wrongdoer? Then I took it (destroyed it), and the final return is to Me.

waka-ayyin min qaryatin amlaytu lahā wahiya ẓālimatun thumma akhadhtuhā wa-ilayya l-maṣīr

7 Opposition to the Prophet

قُلۡ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّمَاۤ أَنَا۠ لَكُمۡ نَذِیرࣱ مُّبِینࣱ ۝٤٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

Say: “People, I am only a clear warner for you.

qul yāayyuhā l-nāsu innamā anā lakum nadhīrun mubīnu

فَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُم مَّغۡفِرَةࣱ وَرِزۡقࣱ كَرِیمࣱ ۝٥٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

So those who believe and do good, they have forgiveness and an honorable provision,

fa-alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti lahum maghfiratun wariz'qun karīmu

وَٱلَّذِینَ سَعَوۡا۟ فِیۤ ءَایَـٰتِنَا مُعَـٰجِزِینَ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ۝٥١

Bakhtiari Nejad

and those who try to disable (and to discredit) Our signs, they are inhabitants of the hellfire.”

wa-alladhīna saʿaw fī āyātinā muʿājizīna ulāika aṣḥābu l-jaḥīm

وَمَاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ مِن رَّسُولࣲ وَلَا نَبِیٍّ إِلَّاۤ إِذَا تَمَنَّىٰۤ أَلۡقَى ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ فِیۤ أُمۡنِیَّتِهِۦ فَیَنسَخُ ٱللَّهُ مَا یُلۡقِی ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ ثُمَّ یُحۡكِمُ ٱللَّهُ ءَایَـٰتِهِۦۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمٌ حَكِیمࣱ ۝٥٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

And We did not send any messenger or prophet before you, unless when he wished (something) Satan threw (temptation) in his wish, but God eliminates anything that Satan throws, then God affirms His signs. God is knowledgeable and wise.

wamā arsalnā min qablika min rasūlin walā nabiyyin illā idhā tamannā alqā l-shayṭānu fī um'niyyatihi fayansakhu l-lahu mā yul'qī l-shayṭānu thumma yuḥ'kimu l-lahu āyātihi wal-lahu ʿalīmun ḥakīmu

لِّیَجۡعَلَ مَا یُلۡقِی ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ فِتۡنَةࣰ لِّلَّذِینَ فِی قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضࣱ وَٱلۡقَاسِیَةِ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَإِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ لَفِی شِقَاقِۭ بَعِیدࣲ ۝٥٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

So that He makes whatever Satan throws as a test for those who have a disease in their hearts and their hearts are hardened, and indeed the wrongdoers are in extreme opposition (to the truth).

liyajʿala mā yul'qī l-shayṭānu fit'natan lilladhīna fī qulūbihim maraḍun wal-qāsiyati qulūbuhum wa-inna l-ẓālimīna lafī shiqāqin baʿīdi

وَلِیَعۡلَمَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡعِلۡمَ أَنَّهُ ٱلۡحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّكَ فَیُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتُخۡبِتَ لَهُۥ قُلُوبُهُمۡۗ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهَادِ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوۤا۟ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٥٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

And so that those who were given knowledge know that it (Quran) is the truth from your Lord, so they believe in it and their hearts are humbled (and compliant) before it. And God certainly guides those who believe to a straight path.

waliyaʿlama alladhīna ūtū l-ʿil'ma annahu l-ḥaqu min rabbika fayu'minū bihi fatukh'bita lahu qulūbuhum wa-inna l-laha lahādi alladhīna āmanū ilā ṣirāṭin mus'taqīmi

وَلَا یَزَالُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِی مِرۡیَةࣲ مِّنۡهُ حَتَّىٰ تَأۡتِیَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغۡتَةً أَوۡ یَأۡتِیَهُمۡ عَذَابُ یَوۡمٍ عَقِیمٍ ۝٥٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

Those who disbelieve do not stop to be in doubt about it until the Hour suddenly comes to them or the punishment of a barren (and hopeless) day comes to them.

walā yazālu alladhīna kafarū fī mir'yatin min'hu ḥattā tatiyahumu l-sāʿatu baghtatan aw yatiyahum ʿadhābu yawmin ʿaqīmi

ٱلۡمُلۡكُ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ لِّلَّهِ یَحۡكُمُ بَیۡنَهُمۡۚ فَٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فِی جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِیمِ ۝٥٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

On that day, the rule belongs to God, He judges between them, then those who believed and did good will be in gardens of delight.

al-mul'ku yawma-idhin lillahi yaḥkumu baynahum fa-alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti fī jannāti l-naʿīm

وَٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِءَایَـٰتِنَا فَأُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣱ مُّهِینࣱ ۝٥٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

And those who disbelieved and denied Our signs, then they will have a humiliating punishment.

wa-alladhīna kafarū wakadhabū biāyātinā fa-ulāika lahum ʿadhābun muhīnu

8 Faithful shall be established

وَٱلَّذِینَ هَاجَرُوا۟ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوۤا۟ أَوۡ مَاتُوا۟ لَیَرۡزُقَنَّهُمُ ٱللَّهُ رِزۡقًا حَسَنࣰاۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُوَ خَیۡرُ ٱلرَّ ٰزِقِینَ ۝٥٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

And those who migrated in God's way, then they were killed or died, God shall provide them with a good provision, and indeed God is the best of providers.

wa-alladhīna hājarū fī sabīli l-lahi thumma qutilū aw mātū layarzuqannahumu l-lahu riz'qan ḥasanan wa-inna l-laha lahuwa khayru l-rāziqīn

لَیُدۡخِلَنَّهُم مُّدۡخَلࣰا یَرۡضَوۡنَهُۥۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلِیمٌ حَلِیمࣱ ۝٥٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

He shall admit them to a place that they would be pleased with it. Indeed, God is knowledgeable and patient.

layud'khilannahum mud'khalan yarḍawnahu wa-inna l-laha laʿalīmun ḥalīmu

۞ ذَ ٰلِكَۖ وَمَنۡ عَاقَبَ بِمِثۡلِ مَا عُوقِبَ بِهِۦ ثُمَّ بُغِیَ عَلَیۡهِ لَیَنصُرَنَّهُ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورࣱ ۝٦٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

That is how it is. Whoever punishes the same as what he was made to suffer, then if he is wronged (again), God shall help him. Indeed, God is pardoning and forgiving.

dhālika waman ʿāqaba bimith'li mā ʿūqiba bihi thumma bughiya ʿalayhi layanṣurannahu l-lahu inna l-laha laʿafuwwun ghafūru

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُولِجُ ٱلَّیۡلَ فِی ٱلنَّهَارِ وَیُولِجُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فِی ٱلَّیۡلِ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِیعُۢ بَصِیرࣱ ۝٦١

Bakhtiari Nejad

That is because God makes the night pass through the day and makes the day pass through the night, and that God hears and sees all.

dhālika bi-anna l-laha yūliju al-layla fī l-nahāri wayūliju l-nahāra fī al-layli wa-anna l-laha samīʿun baṣīru

ذَ ٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا یَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ هُوَ ٱلۡبَـٰطِلُ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِیُّ ٱلۡكَبِیرُ ۝٦٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

That is because God is the truth and whatever they call on besides Him, it is the falsehood, and God is the superior, the great.

dhālika bi-anna l-laha huwa l-ḥaqu wa-anna mā yadʿūna min dūnihi huwa l-bāṭilu wa-anna l-laha huwa l-ʿaliyu l-kabīr

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءࣰ فَتُصۡبِحُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ مُخۡضَرَّةًۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَطِیفٌ خَبِیرࣱ ۝٦٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

Do you not see that God sends down the rain from the sky then the earth becomes green? God is nice and well-informed.

alam tara anna l-laha anzala mina l-samāi māan fatuṣ'biḥu l-arḍu mukh'ḍarratan inna l-laha laṭīfun khabīru

لَّهُۥ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَمَا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡغَنِیُّ ٱلۡحَمِیدُ ۝٦٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

Everything in the skies and on the earth belongs to Him, and indeed God is the rich (without need) and the praiseworthy.

lahu mā fī l-samāwāti wamā fī l-arḍi wa-inna l-laha lahuwa l-ghaniyu l-ḥamīd

9 Divine mercy to men

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَخَّرَ لَكُم مَّا فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱلۡفُلۡكَ تَجۡرِی فِی ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦ وَیُمۡسِكُ ٱلسَّمَاۤءَ أَن تَقَعَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا بِإِذۡنِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِٱلنَّاسِ لَرَءُوفࣱ رَّحِیمࣱ ۝٦٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

Have you not considered that God brought what is on the earth under your control (and in your service), and the ships sail through the sea by His command? And He keeps the sky from falling on the earth except by His permission. God is certainly gentle and merciful to the people.

alam tara anna l-laha sakhara lakum mā fī l-arḍi wal-ful'ka tajrī fī l-baḥri bi-amrihi wayum'siku l-samāa an taqaʿa ʿalā l-arḍi illā bi-idh'nihi inna l-laha bil-nāsi laraūfun raḥīmu

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَحۡیَاكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُمِیتُكُمۡ ثُمَّ یُحۡیِیكُمۡۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ لَكَفُورࣱ ۝٦٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

And He is the One Who gives you life, then makes you die then brings you back to life. Indeed, the human being is ungrateful.

wahuwa alladhī aḥyākum thumma yumītukum thumma yuḥ'yīkum inna l-insāna lakafūru

لِّكُلِّ أُمَّةࣲ جَعَلۡنَا مَنسَكًا هُمۡ نَاسِكُوهُۖ فَلَا یُنَـٰزِعُنَّكَ فِی ٱلۡأَمۡرِۚ وَٱدۡعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَۖ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ هُدࣰى مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ۝٦٧

Bakhtiari Nejad

For every community (of faith) We made ritual to perform it, so they should not dispute with you about the matter (of rituals). And invite (people) to your Lord, indeed you are on the right guidance.

likulli ummatin jaʿalnā mansakan hum nāsikūhu falā yunāziʿunnaka fī l-amri wa-ud'ʿu ilā rabbika innaka laʿalā hudan mus'taqīmi

وَإِن جَـٰدَلُوكَ فَقُلِ ٱللَّهُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ ۝٦٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

And if they argue with you, then say: “God knows best what you do.”

wa-in jādalūka faquli l-lahu aʿlamu bimā taʿmalūn

ٱللَّهُ یَحۡكُمُ بَیۡنَكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِ فِیمَا كُنتُمۡ فِیهِ تَخۡتَلِفُونَ ۝٦٩

Bakhtiari Nejad

God will judge between you on the Resurrection Day regarding what you used to disagree about.

al-lahu yaḥkumu baynakum yawma l-qiyāmati fīmā kuntum fīhi takhtalifūn

أَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمۡ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ یَعۡلَمُ مَا فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰلِكَ فِی كِتَـٰبٍۚ إِنَّ ذَ ٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرࣱ ۝٧٠

Bakhtiari Nejad

Do you not know that God knows whatever is in the skies and the earth? Indeed that is (recorded) in a book, indeed that is easy for God.

alam taʿlam anna l-laha yaʿlamu mā fī l-samāi wal-arḍi inna dhālika fī kitābin inna dhālika ʿalā l-lahi yasīru

وَیَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ یُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَـٰنࣰا وَمَا لَیۡسَ لَهُم بِهِۦ عِلۡمࣱۗ وَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِینَ مِن نَّصِیرࣲ ۝٧١

Bakhtiari Nejad

And they serve besides God something that He did not send down a reason for it and they do not have any knowledge of it. There is no helper for the wrongdoers.

wayaʿbudūna min dūni l-lahi mā lam yunazzil bihi sul'ṭānan wamā laysa lahum bihi ʿil'mun wamā lilẓẓālimīna min naṣīri

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتُنَا بَیِّنَـٰتࣲ تَعۡرِفُ فِی وُجُوهِ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلۡمُنكَرَۖ یَكَادُونَ یَسۡطُونَ بِٱلَّذِینَ یَتۡلُونَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ ءَایَـٰتِنَاۗ قُلۡ أَفَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِشَرࣲّ مِّن ذَ ٰلِكُمُۚ ٱلنَّارُ وَعَدَهَا ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ۖ وَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَصِیرُ ۝٧٢

Bakhtiari Nejad

And when Our clear signs are read to them, you notice the denial on the faces of those who disbelieve, they are about to assault those who read them Our signs. Say: “Should I tell you about worse than this? The fire that God promised it to those who disbelieve, and it is the bad destination.”

wa-idhā tut'lā ʿalayhim āyātunā bayyinātin taʿrifu fī wujūhi alladhīna kafarū l-munkara yakādūna yasṭūna bi-alladhīna yatlūna ʿalayhim āyātinā qul afa-unabbi-ukum bisharrin min dhālikumu l-nāru waʿadahā l-lahu alladhīna kafarū wabi'sa l-maṣīr

10 Polytheism will be uprooted

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ ضُرِبَ مَثَلࣱ فَٱسۡتَمِعُوا۟ لَهُۥۤۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ لَن یَخۡلُقُوا۟ ذُبَابࣰا وَلَوِ ٱجۡتَمَعُوا۟ لَهُۥۖ وَإِن یَسۡلُبۡهُمُ ٱلذُّبَابُ شَیۡءࣰا لَّا یَسۡتَنقِذُوهُ مِنۡهُۚ ضَعُفَ ٱلطَّالِبُ وَٱلۡمَطۡلُوبُ ۝٧٣

Bakhtiari Nejad

People, an example was given, so listen to it: “Indeed those you call on besides God never create a fly even if they get together for it, and if the fly takes anything away from them, they cannot get it back from it. The seeker and the sought are weak.”

yāayyuhā l-nāsu ḍuriba mathalun fa-is'tamiʿū lahu inna alladhīna tadʿūna min dūni l-lahi lan yakhluqū dhubāban walawi ij'tamaʿū lahu wa-in yaslub'humu l-dhubābu shayan lā yastanqidhūhu min'hu ḍaʿufa l-ṭālibu wal-maṭlūb

مَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدۡرِهِۦۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَقَوِیٌّ عَزِیزٌ ۝٧٤

Bakhtiari Nejad

They do not value God His true worth. Indeed, God is strong and powerful.

mā qadarū l-laha ḥaqqa qadrihi inna l-laha laqawiyyun ʿazīzu

ٱللَّهُ یَصۡطَفِی مِنَ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةِ رُسُلࣰا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِیعُۢ بَصِیرࣱ ۝٧٥

Bakhtiari Nejad

God chooses messengers from the angels and from the people. Indeed, God hears all and sees all.

al-lahu yaṣṭafī mina l-malāikati rusulan wamina l-nāsi inna l-laha samīʿun baṣīru

یَعۡلَمُ مَا بَیۡنَ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ ۝٧٦

Bakhtiari Nejad

He knows what is in front of them and what is behind them, and all affairs are returned to God.

yaʿlamu mā bayna aydīhim wamā khalfahum wa-ilā l-lahi tur'jaʿu l-umūr

یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱرۡكَعُوا۟ وَ̅ٱ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅و̅ا۟̅ وَٱعۡبُدُوا۟ رَبَّكُمۡ وَٱفۡعَلُوا۟ ٱلۡخَیۡرَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ۝٧٧ ۩

Bakhtiari Nejad

You who believe, bow down and be humble (and prostrate) and serve your Lord and do good, so that you may succeed.

yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū ir'kaʿū wa-us'judū wa-uʿ'budū rabbakum wa-if'ʿalū l-khayra laʿallakum tuf'liḥūn

وَجَـٰهِدُوا۟ فِی ٱللَّهِ حَقَّ جِهَادِهِۦۚ هُوَ ٱجۡتَبَىٰكُمۡ وَمَا جَعَلَ عَلَیۡكُمۡ فِی ٱلدِّینِ مِنۡ حَرَجࣲۚ مِّلَّةَ أَبِیكُمۡ إِبۡرَ ٰهِیمَۚ هُوَ سَمَّىٰكُمُ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِینَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَفِی هَـٰذَا لِیَكُونَ ٱلرَّسُولُ شَهِیدًا عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَتَكُونُوا۟ شُهَدَاۤءَ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِۚ فَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتُوا۟ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَٱعۡتَصِمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ هُوَ مَوۡلَىٰكُمۡۖ فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَنِعۡمَ ٱلنَّصِیرُ ۝٧٨

Bakhtiari Nejad

And try hard in God's way, a trying that He deserves. He chose you, and He did not impose any difficulty on you in the way of life (religion). This is the faith of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims (the submitted ones) in the past and in this, so that the messenger will be a witness over you, and you will be witnesses over the people, so perform mandatory prayer and give to mandatory charity and hold on to God, He is your protector, what an excellent protector and excellent helper.

wajāhidū fī l-lahi ḥaqqa jihādihi huwa ij'tabākum wamā jaʿala ʿalaykum fī l-dīni min ḥarajin millata abīkum ib'rāhīma huwa sammākumu l-mus'limīna min qablu wafī hādhā liyakūna l-rasūlu shahīdan ʿalaykum watakūnū shuhadāa ʿalā l-nāsi fa-aqīmū l-ṣalata waātū l-zakata wa-iʿ'taṣimū bil-lahi huwa mawlākum faniʿ'ma l-mawlā waniʿ'ma l-naṣīr
