وَ̅لِ̅لَّ̅هِ̅ ̅یَ̅سۡ̅جُ̅دُ̅ مَن فِی ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ طَوۡعࣰا وَكَرۡهࣰا وَظِلَـٰلُهُم بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡءَاصَالِ ١٥ ۩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And to Allah prostrates whoever is within the heavens and the earth, willingly or by compulsion, and their shadows [as well] in the mornings and the afternoons
Abdel Haleem:
All that are in heaven and earth submit to God alone, willingly or unwillingly, as do their shadows in the mornings and in the evenings
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And unto Allah falleth prostrate whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, as do their shadows in the morning and the evening hours
Abraham 14:24

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَیۡفَ ضَرَبَ ٱللَّهُ مَثَلࣰا كَلِمَةࣰ طَیِّبَةࣰ كَشَجَرَةࣲ طَیِّبَةٍ أَصۡلُهَا ثَابِتࣱ وَفَرۡعُهَا فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ ٢٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Have you not considered how Allah presents an example, [making] a good word like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches [high] in the sky
Abdel Haleem:
[Prophet], do you not see how God makes comparisons? A good word is like a good tree whose root is firm and whose branches are high in the sky
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Seest thou not how Allah coineth a similitude: A goodly saying, as a goodly tree, its root set firm, its branches reaching into heaven
The Light 24:36
Noun
فِی بُیُوتٍ أَذِنَ ٱللَّهُ أَن تُرۡفَعَ وَیُذۡكَرَ فِیهَا ٱسۡمُهُۥ یُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ فِیهَا بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡءَاصَالِ ٣٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[Such niches are] in mosques which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be mentioned therein; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evening
Abdel Haleem:
shining out in houses of worship. God has ordained that they be raised high and that His name be remembered in them, with men in them celebrating His glory morning and evening
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
(This lamp is found) in houses which Allah hath allowed to be exalted and that His name shall be remembered therein. Therein do offer praise to Him at morn and evening
وَقَالُوۤا۟ أَسَـٰطِیرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِینَ ٱكۡتَتَبَهَا فَهِیَ تُمۡلَىٰ عَلَیۡهِ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِیلࣰا ٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."
Abdel Haleem:
and they say, ‘It is just ancient fables, which he has had written down: they are dictated to him morning and evening.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And they say: Fables of the men of old which he hath had written down so that they are dictated to him morn and evening
وَسَبِّحُوهُ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِیلًا ٤٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And exalt Him morning and afternoon
Abdel Haleem:
and glorify Him morning and evening
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And glorify Him early and late
إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةࣱ تَخۡرُجُ فِیۤ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ٦٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire
Abdel Haleem:
This tree grows in the heart of the blazing Fire
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell
لِّتُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُۚ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِیلًا ٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
That you [people] may believe in Allah and His Messenger and honor him and respect the Prophet and exalt Allah morning and afternoon
Abdel Haleem:
so that you[people] may believe in God and His Messenger, support Him, honour Him, and praise Him morning and evening
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
That ye (mankind) may believe in Allah and His messenger, and may honour Him, and may revere Him, and may glorify Him at early dawn and at the close of day
مَا قَطَعۡتُم مِّن لِّینَةٍ أَوۡ تَرَكۡتُمُوهَا قَاۤىِٕمَةً عَلَىٰۤ أُصُولِهَا فَبِإِذۡنِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِیُخۡزِیَ ٱلۡفَـٰسِقِینَ ٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Whatever you have cut down of [their] palm trees or left standing on their trunks - it was by permission of Allah and so He would disgrace the defiantly disobedient
Abdel Haleem:
Whatever you [believers] may have done to [their] palm trees–– cutting them down or leaving them standing on their roots––was done by God’s leave, so that He might disgrace those who defied Him
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Whatsoever palm-trees ye cut down or left standing on their roots, it was by Allah's leave, in order that He might confound the evil-livers
Man 76:25
Noun
وَٱذۡكُرِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِیلࣰا ٢٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And mention the name of your Lord [in prayer] morning and evenin
Abdel Haleem:
remember the name of your Lord at dawn and in the evening

Remember the name of thy Lord at morn and evening
وَٱذۡكُر رَّبَّكَ فِی نَفۡسِكَ تَضَرُّعࣰا وَخِیفَةࣰ وَدُونَ ٱلۡجَهۡرِ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡلِ بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡءَاصَالِ وَلَا تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلۡغَـٰفِلِینَ ٢٠٥
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And remember your Lord within yourself in humility and in fear without being apparent in speech - in the mornings and the evenings. And do not be among the heedless
Abdel Haleem:
[Prophet], remember your Lord inwardly, in all humility and awe, without raising your voice, in the mornings and in the evenings- do not be one of the heedless

And do thou (O Muhammad) remember thy Lord within thyself humbly and with awe, below thy breath, at morn and evening. And be not thou of the neglectful
