۞ فَلَمَّاۤ أَحَسَّ عِیسَىٰ مِنۡهُمُ ٱلۡكُفۡرَ قَالَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِیُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّا مُسۡلِمُونَ ۝٥٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): But when Jesus felt [persistence in] disbelief from them, he said, "Who are my supporters for [the cause of] Allah ?" The disciples said," We are supporters for Allah . We have believed in Allah and testify that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]
Abdel Haleem: When Jesus realized they [still] did not believe, he said, ‘Who will help me in God’s cause?’ The disciples said, ‘We will be God’s helpers; we believe in God- witness our devotion to Him
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: But when Jesus became conscious of their disbelief, he cried: Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah? The disciples said: We will be Allah's helpers. We believe in Allah, and bear thou witness that we have surrendered (unto Him)
Smoke, The Evident Smoke 44:54 Noun
كَذَ ٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِینࣲ ۝٥٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Thus. And We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes
Abdel Haleem: so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Even so (it will be). And We shall wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes
The Mount, The Mountain 52:20 Noun
مُتَّكِءِینَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرࣲ مَّصۡفُوفَةࣲۖ وَزَوَّجۡنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِینࣲ ۝٢٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes
Abdel Haleem: They are comfortably seated on couches arranged in rows; We pair them with beautiful-eyed maidens
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Reclining on ranged couches. And we wed them unto fair ones with wide, lovely eyes

She That Disputeth, The Pleading Woman, She Who Pleaded 58:1 Noun
۞ قَدۡ سَمِعَ ٱللَّهُ قَوۡلَ ٱلَّتِی تُجَـٰدِلُكَ فِی زَوۡجِهَا وَتَشۡتَكِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ یَسۡمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَاۤۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِیعُۢ بَصِیرٌ ۝١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Certainly has Allah heard the speech of the one who argues with you, [O Muhammad], concerning her husband and directs her complaint to Allah . And Allah hears your dialogue; indeed, Allah is Hearing and Seeing
Abdel Haleem: God has heard the words of the woman who disputed with you [Prophet] about her husband and complained to God: God has heard what you both had to say. He is all hearing, all seeing
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: Allah hath heard the saying of her that disputeth with thee (Muhammad) concerning her husband, and complaineth unto Allah. And Allah heareth your colloquy. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower
The Table, The Table Spread 5:111 Noun
وَإِذۡ أَوۡحَیۡتُ إِلَى ٱلۡحَوَارِیِّـۧنَ أَنۡ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِی وَبِرَسُولِی قَالُوۤا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَٱشۡهَدۡ بِأَنَّنَا مُسۡلِمُونَ ۝١١١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah ]."
Abdel Haleem: and how I inspired the disciples to believe in Me and My messengers- they said, “We believe and bear witness that we devote ourselves [to God].”’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And when I inspired the disciples, (saying): Believe in Me and in My messenger, they said: We believe. Bear witness that we have surrendered (unto Thee) "we are muslims"
The Table, The Table Spread 5:112 Noun
إِذۡ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِیُّونَ یَـٰعِیسَى ٱبۡنَ مَرۡیَمَ هَلۡ یَسۡتَطِیعُ رَبُّكَ أَن یُنَزِّلَ عَلَیۡنَا مَاۤىِٕدَةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِۖ قَالَ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ۝١١٢
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): [And remember] when the disciples said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, can your Lord send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven? [Jesus] said," Fear Allah , if you should be believers."
Abdel Haleem: When the disciples said, ‘Jesus, son of Mary, can your Lord send down a feast to us from heaven?’ he said, ‘Beware of God if you are true believers.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: When the disciples said: O Jesus, son of Mary! Is thy Lord able to send down for us a table spread with food from heaven? He said: Observe your duty to Allah, if ye are true believers
The Ranks, Battle Array 61:14 Noun
یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كُونُوۤا۟ أَنصَارَ ٱللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ عِیسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡیَمَ لِلۡحَوَارِیِّـۧنَ مَنۡ أَنصَارِیۤ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۖ قَالَ ٱلۡحَوَارِیُّونَ نَحۡنُ أَنصَارُ ٱللَّهِۖ فَءَامَنَت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱ مِّنۢ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ وَكَفَرَت طَّاۤىِٕفَةࣱۖ فَأَیَّدۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ عَلَىٰ عَدُوِّهِمۡ فَأَصۡبَحُوا۟ ظَـٰهِرِینَ ۝١٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah , as when Jesus, the son of Mary, said to the disciples, "Who are my supporters for Allah ?" The disciples said, "We are supporters of Allah ." And a faction of the Children of Israel believed and a faction disbelieved. So We supported those who believed against their enemy, and they became dominant
Abdel Haleem: You who believe, be God’s helpers. As Jesus, son of Mary, said to the disciples, ‘Who will come with me to help God?’ The disciples said, ‘We shall be God’s helpers.’ Some of the Children of Israel believed and some disbelieved: We supported the believers against their enemy and they were the ones who came out on top
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: O ye who believe! Be Allah's helpers, even as Jesus son of Mary said unto the disciples: Who are my helpers for Allah? They said: We are Allah's helpers. And a party of the Children of Israel believed, while a party disbelieved. Then We strengthened those who believed against their foe, and they became the uppermost

The Cave 18:34 Verb
وَكَانَ لَهُۥ ثَمَرࣱ فَقَالَ لِصَـٰحِبِهِۦ وَهُوَ یُحَاوِرُهُۥۤ أَنَا۠ أَكۡثَرُ مِنكَ مَالࣰا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرࣰا ۝٣٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): And he had fruit, so he said to his companion while he was conversing with him, "I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in [numbers of] men."
Abdel Haleem: and so he had abundant fruit. One day, while talking to his friend, he said, ‘I have more wealth and a larger following than you.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: And he had fruit. And he said unto his comrade, when he spake with him: I am more than thee in wealth, and stronger in respect of men
The Cave 18:37 Verb
قَالَ لَهُۥ صَاحِبُهُۥ وَهُوَ یُحَاوِرُهُۥۤ أَكَفَرۡتَ بِٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكَ مِن تُرَابࣲ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطۡفَةࣲ ثُمَّ سَوَّىٰكَ رَجُلࣰا ۝٣٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): His companion said to him while he was conversing with him, "Have you disbelieved in He who created you from dust and then from a sperm-drop and then proportioned you [as] a man
Abdel Haleem: His companion retorted, ‘Have you no faith in Him who created you from dust, from a small drop of fluid, then shaped you into a man
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: His comrade, when he (thus) spake with him, exclaimed: Disbelievest thou in Him Who created thee of dust, then of a drop (of seed), and then fashioned thee a man
The Sundering, Splitting Open 84:14 Verb
إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International): Indeed, he had thought he would never return [to Allah ]
Abdel Haleem: He thought he would never return [to his Lord]––
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall: He verily deemed that he would never return (unto Allah)
