Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
He will precede his people on the Day of Resurrection and lead them into the Fire; and wretched is the place to which they are led
Abdel Haleem:
He will be at the forefront of his people on the Day of Resurrection, leading them down towards the Fire. What a foul drinking place to be led to
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
He will go before his people on the Day of Resurrection and will lead them to the Fire for watering-place. Ah, hapless is the watering-place (whither they are) led
Joseph 12:19

وَجَاۤءَتۡ سَیَّارَةࣱ فَأَرۡسَلُوا۟ وَارِدَهُمۡ فَأَدۡلَىٰ دَلۡوَهُۥۖ قَالَ یَـٰبُشۡرَىٰ هَـٰذَا غُلَـٰمࣱۚ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَـٰعَةࣰۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِیمُۢ بِمَا یَعۡمَلُونَ ١٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was knowing of what they did
Abdel Haleem:
Some travellers came by. They sent someone to draw water and he let down his bucket. ‘Good news!’ he exclaimed. ‘Here is a boy!’ They hid him like a piece of merchandise- God was well aware of what they did
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And there came a caravan, and they sent their waterdrawer. He let down his pail (into the pit). He said: Good luck! Here is a youth. And they hid him as a treasure, and Allah was Aware of what they did
Mary 19:71
Noun
وَإِن مِّنكُمۡ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَاۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتۡمࣰا مَّقۡضِیࣰّا ٧١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed
Abdel Haleem:
but every single one of you will approach it, a decree from your Lord which must be fulfilled
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord
Mary 19:86
Noun
وَنَسُوقُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرۡدࣰا ٨٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirs
Abdel Haleem:
and drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell

And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd
The Prophets 21:98
Noun
إِنَّكُمۡ وَمَا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنتُمۡ لَهَا وَ ٰرِدُونَ ٩٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it
Abdel Haleem:
You [disbelievers] and what you worship instead of God will be fuel for Hell: that is where you will go
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come
The Letter Qaf 50:16
Noun
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَـٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُۥۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَیۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِیدِ ١٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vei
Abdel Haleem:
We created man––We know what his soul whispers to him: We are closer to him than his jugular vein––
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein
فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَاۤءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةࣰ كَٱلدِّهَانِ ٣٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil
Abdel Haleem:
When the sky is torn apart and turns crimson, like red hide
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide

The Prophets 21:99
Verb
لَوۡ كَانَ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ ءَالِهَةࣰ مَّا وَرَدُوهَاۖ وَكُلࣱّ فِیهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ٩٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein
Abdel Haleem:
if these [idols] had been real gods they would not have gone there- you will all stay there
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
If these had been gods they would not have come thither, but all will abide therein
وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَاۤءَ مَدۡیَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَیۡهِ أُمَّةࣰ مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ یَسۡقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ ٱمۡرَأَتَیۡنِ تَذُودَانِۖ قَالَ مَا خَطۡبُكُمَاۖ قَالَتَا لَا نَسۡقِی حَتَّىٰ یُصۡدِرَ ٱلرِّعَاۤءُۖ وَأَبُونَا شَیۡخࣱ كَبِیرࣱ ٢٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And when he came to the well of Madyan, he found there a crowd of people watering [their flocks], and he found aside from them two women driving back [their flocks]. He said, "What is your circumstance?" They said, "We do not water until the shepherds dispatch [their flocks]; and our father is an old man."
Abdel Haleem:
When he arrived at Midian’s waters, he found a group of men watering [their flocks], and beside them two women keeping their flocks back, so he said, ‘What is the matter with you two?’ They said, ‘We cannot water [our flocks] until the shepherds take their sheep away: our father is a very old man.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And when he came unto the water of Midian he found there a whole tribe of men, watering. And he found apart from them two women keeping back (their flocks). He said: What aileth you? The two said: We cannot give (our flocks) to drink till the shepherds return from the water; and our father is a very old man
