Verse 26:96 in Context

92
وَقِیلَ لَهُمۡ أَیۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡبُدُونَ ٩٢
waqīla lahum ayna mā kuntum taʿbudūn
it will be said to them, ‘Where are those you worshipped
93
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ هَلۡ یَنصُرُونَكُمۡ أَوۡ یَنتَصِرُونَ ٩٣
min dūni l-lahi hal yanṣurūnakum aw yantaṣirūn
beside God? Can they help you now, or even help themselves?’
94
فَكُبۡكِبُوا۟ فِیهَا هُمۡ وَٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ ٩٤
fakub'kibū fīhā hum wal-ghāwūn
and then they will all be hurled into Hell, together with those that misled them
95
وَجُنُودُ إِبۡلِیسَ أَجۡمَعُونَ ٩٥
wajunūdu ib'līsa ajmaʿūn
and all Iblis’s supporters
96
قَالُوا۟ وَهُمۡ فِیهَا یَخۡتَصِمُونَ ٩٦
qālū wahum fīhā yakhtaṣimūn
There they will say to their gods, as they bicker among themselves
97
تَٱللَّهِ إِن كُنَّا لَفِی ضَلَـٰلࣲ مُّبِینٍ ٩٧
tal-lahi in kunnā lafī ḍalālin mubīni
‘We were clearly misguide
98
إِذۡ نُسَوِّیكُم بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ ٩٨
idh nusawwīkum birabbi l-ʿālamīn
when we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds
99
وَمَاۤ أَضَلَّنَاۤ إِلَّا ٱلۡمُجۡرِمُونَ ٩٩
wamā aḍallanā illā l-muj'rimūn
It was the evildoers who led us astray
100
فَمَا لَنَا مِن شَـٰفِعِینَ ١٠٠
famā lanā min shāfiʿīn
and now we have no intercesso
