9
یُؤۡفَكُ عَنۡهُ مَنۡ أُفِكَ ٩
yu'faku ʿanhu man ufik
those who turn away from it are [truly] deceived
10
قُتِلَ ٱلۡخَرَّ ٰصُونَ ١٠
qutila l-kharāṣūn
Perish the liars
11
ٱلَّذِینَ هُمۡ فِی غَمۡرَةࣲ سَاهُونَ ١١
alladhīna hum fī ghamratin sāhūn
those steeped in error and unaware
12
یَسۡءَلُونَ أَیَّانَ یَوۡمُ ٱلدِّینِ ١٢
yasalūna ayyāna yawmu l-dīn
They ask, ‘When is this Judgement Day coming?’
13
یَوۡمَ هُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ یُفۡتَنُونَ ١٣
yawma hum ʿalā l-nāri yuf'tanūn
On a Day when they will be punished by the Fire
14
ذُوقُوا۟ فِتۡنَتَكُمۡ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِی كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ ١٤
dhūqū fit'natakum hādhā alladhī kuntum bihi tastaʿjilūn
‘Taste the punishment! This is what you wished to hasten.’
15
إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِینَ فِی جَنَّـٰتࣲ وَعُیُونٍ ١٥
inna l-mutaqīna fī jannātin waʿuyūni
The righteous will be in Gardens with [flowing] springs
16
ءَاخِذِینَ مَاۤ ءَاتَىٰهُمۡ رَبُّهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوا۟ قَبۡلَ ذَ ٰلِكَ مُحۡسِنِینَ ١٦
ākhidhīna mā ātāhum rabbuhum innahum kānū qabla dhālika muḥ'sinīn
They will receive their Lord’s gifts because of the good they did before
17
كَانُوا۟ قَلِیلࣰا مِّنَ ٱلَّیۡلِ مَا یَهۡجَعُونَ ١٧
kānū qalīlan mina al-layli mā yahjaʿūn
sleeping only little at night
