191 أَیُشۡرِكُونَ مَا لَا یَخۡلُقُ شَیۡءࣰا وَهُمۡ یُخۡلَقُونَ ۝١٩١ ayush'rikūna mā lā yakhluqu shayan wahum yukh'laqūn God is far above the partners they set up alongside Him! How can they set up with Him these partners that create nothing and are themselves created 192 وَلَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ لَهُمۡ نَصۡرࣰا وَلَاۤ أَنفُسَهُمۡ یَنصُرُونَ ۝١٩٢ walā yastaṭīʿūna lahum naṣran walā anfusahum yanṣurūn that cannot help them at all, or even help themselves 193 وَإِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَا یَتَّبِعُوكُمۡۚ سَوَاۤءٌ عَلَیۡكُمۡ أَدَعَوۡتُمُوهُمۡ أَمۡ أَنتُمۡ صَـٰمِتُونَ ۝١٩٣ wa-in tadʿūhum ilā l-hudā lā yattabiʿūkum sawāon ʿalaykum adaʿawtumūhum am antum ṣāmitūn If you [believers] call such people to guidance, they do not fol-low you: it makes no difference whether you call them or remain silent 194 إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ عِبَادٌ أَمۡثَالُكُمۡۖ فَٱدۡعُوهُمۡ فَلۡیَسۡتَجِیبُوا۟ لَكُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ ۝١٩٤ inna alladhīna tadʿūna min dūni l-lahi ʿibādun amthālukum fa-id'ʿūhum falyastajībū lakum in kuntum ṣādiqīn Those you [idolaters] call upon instead of God are created beings like you. Call upon them, then, and let them respond to you if what you say is true
195 أَلَهُمۡ أَرۡجُلࣱ یَمۡشُونَ بِهَاۤۖ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ أَیۡدࣲ یَبۡطِشُونَ بِهَاۤۖ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ أَعۡیُنࣱ یُبۡصِرُونَ بِهَاۤۖ أَمۡ لَهُمۡ ءَاذَانࣱ یَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَاۗ قُلِ ٱدۡعُوا۟ شُرَكَاۤءَكُمۡ ثُمَّ كِیدُونِ فَلَا تُنظِرُونِ ۝١٩٥ alahum arjulun yamshūna bihā am lahum aydin yabṭishūna bihā am lahum aʿyunun yub'ṣirūna bihā am lahum ādhānun yasmaʿūna bihā quli id'ʿū shurakāakum thumma kīdūni falā tunẓirūn Do they have feet to walk, hands to strike, eyes to see, or ears to hear? Say [Prophet], ‘Call on your “partners”! Scheme against me! Do not spare me
196 إِنَّ وَلِـِّۧیَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی نَزَّلَ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَۖ وَهُوَ یَتَوَلَّى ٱلصَّـٰلِحِینَ ۝١٩٦ inna waliyyiya l-lahu alladhī nazzala l-kitāba wahuwa yatawallā l-ṣāliḥīn My protector is God: He has revealed the Scripture, and it is He who protects the righteous 197 وَٱلَّذِینَ تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ لَا یَسۡتَطِیعُونَ نَصۡرَكُمۡ وَلَاۤ أَنفُسَهُمۡ یَنصُرُونَ ۝١٩٧ wa-alladhīna tadʿūna min dūnihi lā yastaṭīʿūna naṣrakum walā anfusahum yanṣurūn but those you call on instead of Him cannot help you or even help themselves.’ 198 وَإِن تَدۡعُوهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰ لَا یَسۡمَعُوا۟ۖ وَتَرَىٰهُمۡ یَنظُرُونَ إِلَیۡكَ وَهُمۡ لَا یُبۡصِرُونَ ۝١٩٨ wa-in tadʿūhum ilā l-hudā lā yasmaʿū watarāhum yanẓurūna ilayka wahum lā yub'ṣirūn If you [believers] call such people to guidance, they do not hear. You [Prophet] may observe them looking at you, but they can-not see 199 خُذِ ٱلۡعَفۡوَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡعُرۡفِ وَأَعۡرِضۡ عَنِ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلِینَ ۝١٩٩ khudhi l-ʿafwa wamur bil-ʿur'fi wa-aʿriḍ ʿani l-jāhilīn Be tolerant and command what is right: pay no attention to foolish people
