15 أَلَمۡ تَرَوۡا۟ كَیۡفَ خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ سَبۡعَ سَمَـٰوَ ٰتࣲ طِبَاقࣰا ۝١٥ alam taraw kayfa khalaqa l-lahu sabʿa samāwātin ṭibāqa Have you ever wondered how God created seven heavens, one above the other 16 وَجَعَلَ ٱلۡقَمَرَ فِیهِنَّ نُورࣰا وَجَعَلَ ٱلشَّمۡسَ سِرَاجࣰا ۝١٦ wajaʿala l-qamara fīhinna nūran wajaʿala l-shamsa sirāja placed the moon as a light in them and the sun as a lamp 17 وَٱللَّهُ أَنۢبَتَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ نَبَاتࣰا ۝١٧ wal-lahu anbatakum mina l-arḍi nabāta how God made you spring forth from the earth like a plant 18 ثُمَّ یُعِیدُكُمۡ فِیهَا وَیُخۡرِجُكُمۡ إِخۡرَاجࣰا ۝١٨ thumma yuʿīdukum fīhā wayukh'rijukum ikh'rāja how He will return you into it and then bring you out again
19 وَٱللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بِسَاطࣰا ۝١٩ wal-lahu jaʿala lakumu l-arḍa bisāṭa and how He has spread the Earth out for yo
20 لِّتَسۡلُكُوا۟ مِنۡهَا سُبُلࣰا فِجَاجࣰا ۝٢٠ litaslukū min'hā subulan fijāja to walk along its spacious paths?” ’ 21 قَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ إِنَّهُمۡ عَصَوۡنِی وَٱتَّبَعُوا۟ مَن لَّمۡ یَزِدۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَوَلَدُهُۥۤ إِلَّا خَسَارࣰا ۝٢١ qāla nūḥun rabbi innahum ʿaṣawnī wa-ittabaʿū man lam yazid'hu māluhu wawaladuhu illā khasāra Noah said, ‘My Lord, they have disobeyed me and followed those whose riches and children only increase their ruin 22 وَمَكَرُوا۟ مَكۡرࣰا كُبَّارࣰا ۝٢٢ wamakarū makran kubbāra who have made a grand plan 23 وَقَالُوا۟ لَا تَذَرُنَّ ءَالِهَتَكُمۡ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدࣰّا وَلَا سُوَاعࣰا وَلَا یَغُوثَ وَیَعُوقَ وَنَسۡرࣰا ۝٢٣ waqālū lā tadharunna ālihatakum walā tadharunna waddan walā suwāʿan walā yaghūtha wayaʿūqa wanasra saying, “Do not renounce your gods
