1 Hudaibiyah Truce — a Victory

إِنَّا فَتَحۡنَا لَكَ فَتۡحࣰا مُّبِینࣰا ۝١

Surely, We have provided you success, an evidently manifest success

innā fataḥnā laka fatḥan mubīna

لِّیَغۡفِرَ لَكَ ٱللَّهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِن ذَنۢبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَیُتِمَّ نِعۡمَتَهُۥ عَلَیۡكَ وَیَهۡدِیَكَ صِرَ ٰطࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا ۝٢

that Allah may forgive whatever preceded of your sin and whatever occurred later; and He may complete His Favour on you, and He may guide you to the Permanent Path

liyaghfira laka l-lahu mā taqaddama min dhanbika wamā ta-akhara wayutimma niʿ'matahu ʿalayka wayahdiyaka ṣirāṭan mus'taqīma

وَیَنصُرَكَ ٱللَّهُ نَصۡرًا عَزِیزًا ۝٣

and Allah may provide you help, aid and assistance — a mighty and powerful assistance

wayanṣuraka l-lahu naṣran ʿazīza

هُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِینَةَ فِی قُلُوبِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ لِیَزۡدَادُوۤا۟ إِیمَـٰنࣰا مَّعَ إِیمَـٰنِهِمۡۗ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِیمًا حَكِیمࣰا ۝٤

He it is Who sent down As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquility) into the hearts of the Believers so that they may increase Faith-wise alongwith their (existing depth of) Faith. And to Allah belong the forces of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is All-Knower, All-Wise

huwa alladhī anzala l-sakīnata fī qulūbi l-mu'minīna liyazdādū īmānan maʿa īmānihim walillahi junūdu l-samāwāti wal-arḍi wakāna l-lahu ʿalīman ḥakīma

لِّیُدۡخِلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَـٰتِ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَا وَیُكَفِّرَ عَنۡهُمۡ سَیِّءَاتِهِمۡۚ وَكَانَ ذَ ٰلِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ فَوۡزًا عَظِیمࣰا ۝٥

so that He may admit the Believing males and the Believing females to Gardens, flow beneath them rivers, abiders therein; and (so that) He may write-off from them their misdeeds. And became this, in the sight of Allah, a supreme gain

liyud'khila l-mu'minīna wal-mu'mināti jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā wayukaffira ʿanhum sayyiātihim wakāna dhālika ʿinda l-lahi fawzan ʿaẓīma

وَیُعَذِّبَ ٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقِینَ وَٱلۡمُنَـٰفِقَـٰتِ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكِینَ وَٱلۡمُشۡرِكَـٰتِ ٱلظَّاۤنِّینَ بِٱللَّهِ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوۡءِۚ عَلَیۡهِمۡ دَاۤىِٕرَةُ ٱلسَّوۡءِۖ وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَعَنَهُمۡ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُمۡ جَهَنَّمَۖ وَسَاۤءَتۡ مَصِیرࣰا ۝٦

And He may submit to torment the hypocrite males and the hypocrite females,and the polytheistic males and the polytheistic females who harbour thoughts against Allah — evil thoughts. On them has descended a calamity of evil, and Allah became angry with them and He cursed them, and prepared for them Hell; and it happened to be evil as a place of stay

wayuʿadhiba l-munāfiqīna wal-munāfiqāti wal-mush'rikīna wal-mush'rikāti l-ẓānīna bil-lahi ẓanna l-sawi ʿalayhim dāiratu l-sawi waghaḍiba l-lahu ʿalayhim walaʿanahum wa-aʿadda lahum jahannama wasāat maṣīra

وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِیزًا حَكِیمًا ۝٧

And to Allah belong the forces of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise

walillahi junūdu l-samāwāti wal-arḍi wakāna l-lahu ʿazīzan ḥakīma

إِنَّاۤ أَرۡسَلۡنَـٰكَ شَـٰهِدࣰا وَمُبَشِّرࣰا وَنَذِیرࣰا ۝٨

Verily We, We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of glad-tidings, and as a warner

innā arsalnāka shāhidan wamubashiran wanadhīra

لِّتُؤۡمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَتُعَزِّرُوهُ وَتُوَقِّرُوهُۚ وَتُسَبِّحُوهُ بُكۡرَةࣰ وَأَصِیلًا ۝٩

in order that you (entire mankind) may Believe in Allah and His Messenger; and you may assist him, and you may protect his honour; and (that) you may glorify Him at the break of dawn and in the late afternoon. [This refers to Fajr and Asr Prayers]

litu'minū bil-lahi warasūlihi watuʿazzirūhu watuwaqqirūhu watusabbiḥūhu buk'ratan wa-aṣīla

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ یُبَایِعُونَكَ إِنَّمَا یُبَایِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ یَدُ ٱللَّهِ فَوۡقَ أَیۡدِیهِمۡۚ فَمَن نَّكَثَ فَإِنَّمَا یَنكُثُ عَلَىٰ نَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَنۡ أَوۡفَىٰ بِمَا عَـٰهَدَ عَلَیۡهُ ٱللَّهَ فَسَیُؤۡتِیهِ أَجۡرًا عَظِیمࣰا ۝١٠

Verily, those who swear allegiance to you, surely what (is the fact is that) they swear allegiance to Allah. The Hand of Allah is over their hands. Then whosoever now broke (his pledge), then he breaks (the pledge) against the interest of his own Nafs; and whoever fulfilled (the covenant) on which he has made a pledge with Allah, then soon He will pay him a great reward

inna alladhīna yubāyiʿūnaka innamā yubāyiʿūna l-laha yadu l-lahi fawqa aydīhim faman nakatha fa-innamā yankuthu ʿalā nafsihi waman awfā bimā ʿāhada ʿalayhu l-laha fasayu'tīhi ajran ʿaẓīma

2 The Defaulters

سَیَقُولُ لَكَ ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ شَغَلَتۡنَاۤ أَمۡوَ ٰلُنَا وَأَهۡلُونَا فَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡ لَنَاۚ یَقُولُونَ بِأَلۡسِنَتِهِم مَّا لَیۡسَ فِی قُلُوبِهِمۡۚ قُلۡ فَمَن یَمۡلِكُ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ شَیۡءًا إِنۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ ضَرًّا أَوۡ أَرَادَ بِكُمۡ نَفۡعَۢاۚ بَلۡ كَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ خَبِیرَۢا ۝١١

Soon will say unto you those who lagged behind out of the bedouins: “Our possessions kept us involved; so ask forgiveness for us.” They utter with their tongues what is not in their hearts. Say: “Who then will have any power at all (to intervene) on your behalf with Allah, if He intended you (any) harm or He intended you (any) benefit? Nay, Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

sayaqūlu laka l-mukhalafūna mina l-aʿrābi shaghalatnā amwālunā wa-ahlūnā fa-is'taghfir lanā yaqūlūna bi-alsinatihim mā laysa fī qulūbihim qul faman yamliku lakum mina l-lahi shayan in arāda bikum ḍarran aw arāda bikum nafʿan bal kāna l-lahu bimā taʿmalūna khabīra

بَلۡ ظَنَنتُمۡ أَن لَّن یَنقَلِبَ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنُونَ إِلَىٰۤ أَهۡلِیهِمۡ أَبَدࣰا وَزُیِّنَ ذَ ٰلِكَ فِی قُلُوبِكُمۡ وَظَنَنتُمۡ ظَنَّ ٱلسَّوۡءِ وَكُنتُمۡ قَوۡمَۢا بُورࣰا ۝١٢

Nay, you thought that the Messenger and the Believers would never return back to their own people — something permanent, and that was made fair-seeming in your hearts, and you did think an evil thought, and you became a nation in bad shape

bal ẓanantum an lan yanqaliba l-rasūlu wal-mu'minūna ilā ahlīhim abadan wazuyyina dhālika fī qulūbikum waẓanantum ẓanna l-sawi wakuntum qawman būra

وَمَن لَّمۡ یُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ فَإِنَّاۤ أَعۡتَدۡنَا لِلۡكَـٰفِرِینَ سَعِیرࣰا ۝١٣

And whosoever did not Believe in Allah and His Messenger, then verily We, We have prepared for the disbelievers a blazing Fire

waman lam yu'min bil-lahi warasūlihi fa-innā aʿtadnā lil'kāfirīna saʿīra

وَلِلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ یَغۡفِرُ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُ وَیُعَذِّبُ مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا ۝١٤

And to Allah belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He forgives for whom He thinks proper, and He will punish for whom He will think proper. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, continuously Merciful

walillahi mul'ku l-samāwāti wal-arḍi yaghfiru liman yashāu wayuʿadhibu man yashāu wakāna l-lahu ghafūran raḥīma

سَیَقُولُ ٱلۡمُخَلَّفُونَ إِذَا ٱنطَلَقۡتُمۡ إِلَىٰ مَغَانِمَ لِتَأۡخُذُوهَا ذَرُونَا نَتَّبِعۡكُمۡۖ یُرِیدُونَ أَن یُبَدِّلُوا۟ كَلَـٰمَ ٱللَّهِۚ قُل لَّن تَتَّبِعُونَا كَذَ ٰلِكُمۡ قَالَ ٱللَّهُ مِن قَبۡلُۖ فَسَیَقُولُونَ بَلۡ تَحۡسُدُونَنَاۚ بَلۡ كَانُوا۟ لَا یَفۡقَهُونَ إِلَّا قَلِیلࣰا ۝١٥

Soon they who lagged behind (and did not volunteer for Qital) will say when you attended to the spoils (of war) that you may pick it up (as your share what you are allotted): “Allow us (so that) we may follow you.” They want that they may change (the wordings in) Kalamallah (‘Statement of Allah’.). Say: “You shall never follow us; thus Allah has said about you beforehand.” Then soon, they will utter: “Nay, you envy us.” Nay, they had not been understanding, except very little

sayaqūlu l-mukhalafūna idhā inṭalaqtum ilā maghānima litakhudhūhā dharūnā nattabiʿ'kum yurīdūna an yubaddilū kalāma l-lahi qul lan tattabiʿūnā kadhālikum qāla l-lahu min qablu fasayaqūlūna bal taḥsudūnanā bal kānū lā yafqahūna illā qalīla

قُل لِّلۡمُخَلَّفِینَ مِنَ ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ سَتُدۡعَوۡنَ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمٍ أُو۟لِی بَأۡسࣲ شَدِیدࣲ تُقَـٰتِلُونَهُمۡ أَوۡ یُسۡلِمُونَۖ فَإِن تُطِیعُوا۟ یُؤۡتِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ أَجۡرًا حَسَنࣰاۖ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوۡا۟ كَمَا تَوَلَّیۡتُم مِّن قَبۡلُ یُعَذِّبۡكُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا ۝١٦

Say to those who lagged behind out of the bedouins: “Soon you shall be called upon to a nation given to great warfare. They shall either fight you in an armed encounter, or they shall seek peace (with you). So if you pay obedience Allah will pay you a fair reward; and if you turned away as you have turned back on previous occasion, He will put you to punishment — of a painful torment.”

qul lil'mukhallafīna mina l-aʿrābi satud'ʿawna ilā qawmin ulī basin shadīdin tuqātilūnahum aw yus'limūna fa-in tuṭīʿū yu'tikumu l-lahu ajran ḥasanan wa-in tatawallaw kamā tawallaytum min qablu yuʿadhib'kum ʿadhāban alīma

لَّیۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ حَرَجࣱ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَعۡرَجِ حَرَجࣱ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلۡمَرِیضِ حَرَجࣱۗ وَمَن یُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ یُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُۖ وَمَن یَتَوَلَّ یُعَذِّبۡهُ عَذَابًا أَلِیمࣰا ۝١٧

No blame (is applicable) to that who is blind, and nor there is blame upon that who is lame, and nor there is blame on one who is down with sickness (if they did not volunteer themselves for Qital,). And whosoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, He will admit him to Gardens, flow underneath them rivers. And whoever will turn back, He will punish him with a painful torment

laysa ʿalā l-aʿmā ḥarajun walā ʿalā l-aʿraji ḥarajun walā ʿalā l-marīḍi ḥarajun waman yuṭiʿi l-laha warasūlahu yud'khil'hu jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru waman yatawalla yuʿadhib'hu ʿadhāban alīma

3 More Victories for Islam

۞ لَّقَدۡ رَضِیَ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ إِذۡ یُبَایِعُونَكَ تَحۡتَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِی قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَأَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِینَةَ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَأَثَـٰبَهُمۡ فَتۡحࣰا قَرِیبࣰا ۝١٨

Surely, indeed Allah gave His assent to the Believers when they swear a pledge to you under the tree. So He knew what is in their hearts, so He made to descend As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquility) over them and He rewarded them an immediate success

laqad raḍiya l-lahu ʿani l-mu'minīna idh yubāyiʿūnaka taḥta l-shajarati faʿalima mā fī qulūbihim fa-anzala l-sakīnata ʿalayhim wa-athābahum fatḥan qarība

وَمَغَانِمَ كَثِیرَةࣰ یَأۡخُذُونَهَاۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَزِیزًا حَكِیمࣰا ۝١٩

As far as abundant spoils of war (are concerned) they will pick it up in future. And Allah is All-Mighty, All-Wise

wamaghānima kathīratan yakhudhūnahā wakāna l-lahu ʿazīzan ḥakīma

وَعَدَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ مَغَانِمَ كَثِیرَةࣰ تَأۡخُذُونَهَا فَعَجَّلَ لَكُمۡ هَـٰذِهِۦ وَكَفَّ أَیۡدِیَ ٱلنَّاسِ عَنكُمۡ وَلِتَكُونَ ءَایَةࣰ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَیَهۡدِیَكُمۡ صِرَ ٰطࣰا مُّسۡتَقِیمࣰا ۝٢٠

Allah has given you a promise regarding abundant spoils of war; you will receive it (in some coming encounter); so He has hastened for you this (immediate success) and He has restrained the hands of (the enemical) people from you (through a treaty of peace signed within the belly of Makka. See Verse No. 24). And (this He appreciated) so that it (i.e., the signing of a peace treaty to overcome adverse conditions and periods) becomes a Sign for the Believers; and in order that He may guide you to Siratam Mustaqim

waʿadakumu l-lahu maghānima kathīratan takhudhūnahā faʿajjala lakum hādhihi wakaffa aydiya l-nāsi ʿankum walitakūna āyatan lil'mu'minīna wayahdiyakum ṣirāṭan mus'taqīma

وَأُخۡرَىٰ لَمۡ تَقۡدِرُوا۟ عَلَیۡهَا قَدۡ أَحَاطَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣰا ۝٢١

And the later one, you have definitely not made an assessment thereof, surely Allah has compassed it — and Allah is All-Capable over every thing

wa-ukh'rā lam taqdirū ʿalayhā qad aḥāṭa l-lahu bihā wakāna l-lahu ʿalā kulli shayin qadīra

وَلَوۡ قَـٰتَلَكُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوَلَّوُا۟ ٱلۡأَدۡبَـٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا یَجِدُونَ وَلِیࣰّا وَلَا نَصِیرࣰا ۝٢٢

And if would have fought against you those who have disbelieved they certainly would have turned (their) backs (in spite of being greater in numbers), then they will not find a wali and nor a helper

walaw qātalakumu alladhīna kafarū lawallawū l-adbāra thumma lā yajidūna waliyyan walā naṣīra

سُنَّةَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِی قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلُۖ وَلَن تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ ٱللَّهِ تَبۡدِیلࣰا ۝٢٣

That had been the Sunnah of Allah which definitely continued and persisted since before. And you will never find a change for the Sunnah (Practice) of Allah

sunnata l-lahi allatī qad khalat min qablu walan tajida lisunnati l-lahi tabdīla

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِی كَفَّ أَیۡدِیَهُمۡ عَنكُمۡ وَأَیۡدِیَكُمۡ عَنۡهُم بِبَطۡنِ مَكَّةَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ أَنۡ أَظۡفَرَكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِمۡۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعۡمَلُونَ بَصِیرًا ۝٢٤

And He it is Who restrained their hands from you and (withheld) your hands from them within (the) Batn (belly) of Makka; after that He had made you dominating over them. And Allah has remained Well-Acquainted of what you do

wahuwa alladhī kaffa aydiyahum ʿankum wa-aydiyakum ʿanhum bibaṭni makkata min baʿdi an aẓfarakum ʿalayhim wakāna l-lahu bimā taʿmalūna baṣīra

هُمُ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوكُمۡ عَنِ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدِ ٱلۡحَرَامِ وَٱلۡهَدۡیَ مَعۡكُوفًا أَن یَبۡلُغَ مَحِلَّهُۥۚ وَلَوۡلَا رِجَالࣱ مُّؤۡمِنُونَ وَنِسَاۤءࣱ مُّؤۡمِنَـٰتࣱ لَّمۡ تَعۡلَمُوهُمۡ أَن تَطَءُوهُمۡ فَتُصِیبَكُم مِّنۡهُم مَّعَرَّةُۢ بِغَیۡرِ عِلۡمࣲۖ لِّیُدۡخِلَ ٱللَّهُ فِی رَحۡمَتِهِۦ مَن یَشَاۤءُۚ لَوۡ تَزَیَّلُوا۟ لَعَذَّبۡنَا ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنۡهُمۡ عَذَابًا أَلِیمًا ۝٢٥

They happened to be those who have disbelieved and hindered you from Al-Masjid-al-Haram, and thus Al-Hadiya (the Gift of sacrificial animals) became detained — that it may reach its specified place. And had there not been Believing men and the Believing women, you people do not know them, so you will trample them; and because of them a serious deviation from the correct step inflicts you (and goes to your account as a sin) because of the absence of knowledge. (If the situation was not such, We would have allowed an armed encounter in place of a treaty of peace) — so that Allah may admit into His Mercy whom He may think proper. If (the two groups, i.e., the Believers and the disbelievers were not intermixed and had already) separated (to be recognised easily, then) surely We would have punished those who had disbelieved amongst you in the form of a painful torment (by the aided hands of the Believing army)

humu alladhīna kafarū waṣaddūkum ʿani l-masjidi l-ḥarāmi wal-hadya maʿkūfan an yablugha maḥillahu walawlā rijālun mu'minūna wanisāon mu'minātun lam taʿlamūhum an taṭaūhum fatuṣībakum min'hum maʿarratun bighayri ʿil'min liyud'khila l-lahu fī raḥmatihi man yashāu law tazayyalū laʿadhabnā alladhīna kafarū min'hum ʿadhāban alīma

إِذۡ جَعَلَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِی قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡحَمِیَّةَ حَمِیَّةَ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلِیَّةِ فَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ سَكِینَتَهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَعَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ وَأَلۡزَمَهُمۡ كَلِمَةَ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَكَانُوۤا۟ أَحَقَّ بِهَا وَأَهۡلَهَاۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عَلِیمࣰا ۝٢٦

When those who disbelieved had placed in their hearts the pride and haughtiness — pride and haughtiness based on ignorance, then Allah made to descend His Sakinah upon His Messenger and upon the Believers. And He kept them attached to the statement of obedience (La-ilaha-ill-Allah Muhammadun Rasulullah. See Verses 37/35, 48/29), and they were more entitled to it and worthy of it. And Allah is All-Knower of every thing

idh jaʿala alladhīna kafarū fī qulūbihimu l-ḥamiyata ḥamiyyata l-jāhiliyati fa-anzala l-lahu sakīnatahu ʿalā rasūlihi waʿalā l-mu'minīna wa-alzamahum kalimata l-taqwā wakānū aḥaqqa bihā wa-ahlahā wakāna l-lahu bikulli shayin ʿalīma

4 Ultimate Triumph of Islam

لَّقَدۡ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ رَسُولَهُ ٱلرُّءۡیَا بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ لَتَدۡخُلُنَّ ٱلۡمَسۡجِدَ ٱلۡحَرَامَ إِن شَاۤءَ ٱللَّهُ ءَامِنِینَ مُحَلِّقِینَ رُءُوسَكُمۡ وَمُقَصِّرِینَ لَا تَخَافُونَۖ فَعَلِمَ مَا لَمۡ تَعۡلَمُوا۟ فَجَعَلَ مِن دُونِ ذَ ٰلِكَ فَتۡحࣰا قَرِیبًا ۝٢٧

Surely, indeed Allah has fulfilled for His Messenger the vision with full justice. Certainly, you shall enter Al-Masjid-al-Haram, if Allah thought proper, as attainers of peace, (and as) those who have submitted their heads to a clean-shave, and (as) those who (got their scalp-hair) trimmed. You will feel no fear. So He knew what you knew not, that is why He sanctioned instead of this Fathan Qariban ['an immediate success.' (This Fathan Qariban is the treaty of peace signed in the belly of Makka which makes the Believers to interrupt the programme of attending the Hajj and also stops them from offering Animal-Sacrifice at the proper place meant and specified for it)][Please note that attending to the haircut is compulsory before initiating the 2nd part of the Hajj-Congregation]

laqad ṣadaqa l-lahu rasūlahu l-ru'yā bil-ḥaqi latadkhulunna l-masjida l-ḥarāma in shāa l-lahu āminīna muḥalliqīna ruūsakum wamuqaṣṣirīna lā takhāfūna faʿalima mā lam taʿlamū fajaʿala min dūni dhālika fatḥan qarība

هُوَ ٱلَّذِیۤ أَرۡسَلَ رَسُولَهُۥ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَدِینِ ٱلۡحَقِّ لِیُظۡهِرَهُۥ عَلَى ٱلدِّینِ كُلِّهِۦۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ شَهِیدࣰا ۝٢٨

He it is Who has sent His Messenger with Al-Hudah and the True, Legitimate, Original Religion that He may make it prevail over way of life — to each and every aspect of it, and sufficient is Allah as Witness

huwa alladhī arsala rasūlahu bil-hudā wadīni l-ḥaqi liyuẓ'hirahu ʿalā l-dīni kullihi wakafā bil-lahi shahīda

مُّحَمَّدࣱ رَّسُولُ ٱللَّهِۚ وَٱلَّذِینَ مَعَهُۥۤ أَشِدَّاۤءُ عَلَى ٱلۡكُفَّارِ رُحَمَاۤءُ بَیۡنَهُمۡۖ تَرَىٰهُمۡ رُكَّعࣰا سُجَّدࣰا یَبۡتَغُونَ فَضۡلࣰا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِضۡوَ ٰنࣰاۖ سِیمَاهُمۡ فِی وُجُوهِهِم مِّنۡ أَثَرِ ٱلسُّجُودِۚ ذَ ٰلِكَ مَثَلُهُمۡ فِی ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِۚ وَمَثَلُهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡإِنجِیلِ كَزَرۡعٍ أَخۡرَجَ شَطۡءَهُۥ فَءَازَرَهُۥ فَٱسۡتَغۡلَظَ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ عَلَىٰ سُوقِهِۦ یُعۡجِبُ ٱلزُّرَّاعَ لِیَغِیظَ بِهِمُ ٱلۡكُفَّارَۗ وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ مِنۡهُم مَّغۡفِرَةࣰ وَأَجۡرًا عَظِیمَۢا ۝٢٩

Muhammadun Rusulullah [Muhammad (is the) Messenger of Allah], and those who are with him are extremely strict against disbelievers, (and) highly merciful and concerned among themselves. You see them bowing, and falling down in prostration (while in Prayer). They seek the Bounty from Allah and (His) Assents and Agreements. Their marks (are evident) in their facies from the effect of the submissions. This (becomes) their example in At-Taurat, and (another) example for them in Al-Injeel: like a (sown) seed which sent out its shoot, then made it firm, then it became thick, then it stood (straight and stable) on its stem. (Now) it puts the sower to wonder — that He may enrage the disbelievers because of these (happy sowers). Allah has promised those who have Believed and performed righteous deeds amongst them — forgiveness and a mighty reward

muḥammadun rasūlu l-lahi wa-alladhīna maʿahu ashiddāu ʿalā l-kufāri ruḥamāu baynahum tarāhum rukkaʿan sujjadan yabtaghūna faḍlan mina l-lahi wariḍ'wānan sīmāhum fī wujūhihim min athari l-sujūdi dhālika mathaluhum fī l-tawrāti wamathaluhum fī l-injīli kazarʿin akhraja shaṭahu faāzarahu fa-is'taghlaẓa fa-is'tawā ʿalā sūqihi yuʿ'jibu l-zurāʿa liyaghīẓa bihimu l-kufāra waʿada l-lahu alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti min'hum maghfiratan wa-ajran ʿaẓīma
