نَّحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِمَا یَقُولُونَ إِذۡ یَقُولُ أَمۡثَلُهُمۡ طَرِیقَةً إِن لَّبِثۡتُمۡ إِلَّا یَوۡمࣰا ١٠٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
We are most knowing of what they say when the best of them in manner will say, "You remained not but one day."
Abdel Haleem:
We know best what they say- but the more perceptive of them will say, ‘Your stay [on earth] was only a single day.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
We are Best Aware of what they utter when their best in conduct say: Ye have tarried but a day
Ta Ha 20:63
Noun
قَالُوۤا۟ إِنۡ هَـٰذَ ٰنِ لَسَـٰحِرَ ٰنِ یُرِیدَانِ أَن یُخۡرِجَاكُم مِّنۡ أَرۡضِكُم بِسِحۡرِهِمَا وَیَذۡهَبَا بِطَرِیقَتِكُمُ ٱلۡمُثۡلَىٰ ٦٣
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
They said, "Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way
Abdel Haleem:
saying, ‘These two men are sorcerers. Their purpose is to drive you out of your land with their sorcery and put an end to your time-honoured way of life
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
They said: Lo! these are two wizards who would drive you out from your country by their magic, and destroy your best traditions
Ta Ha 20:77
Noun
وَلَقَدۡ أَوۡحَیۡنَاۤ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰۤ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِی فَٱضۡرِبۡ لَهُمۡ طَرِیقࣰا فِی ٱلۡبَحۡرِ یَبَسࣰا لَّا تَخَـٰفُ دَرَكࣰا وَلَا تَخۡشَىٰ ٧٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."
Abdel Haleem:
We revealed to Moses, ‘Go out at night with My servants and strike a dry path for them across the sea. Have no fear of being overtaken and do not be dismayed.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And verily We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night and strike for them a dry path in the sea, fearing not to be overtaken, neither being afraid (of the sea)
The Believers 23:17
Noun
وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعَ طَرَاۤىِٕقَ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ ٱلۡخَلۡقِ غَـٰفِلِینَ ١٧
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware
Abdel Haleem:
We created seven levels above you: We are never unmindful of Our creation
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation
قَالُوا۟ یَـٰقَوۡمَنَاۤ إِنَّا سَمِعۡنَا كِتَـٰبًا أُنزِلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مُوسَىٰ مُصَدِّقࣰا لِّمَا بَیۡنَ یَدَیۡهِ یَهۡدِیۤ إِلَى ٱلۡحَقِّ وَإِلَىٰ طَرِیقࣲ مُّسۡتَقِیمࣲ ٣٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
They said, "O our people, indeed we have heard a [recited] Book revealed after Moses confirming what was before it which guides to the truth and to a straight path
Abdel Haleem:
They said, ‘Our people, we have been listening to a Scripture that came after Moses, confirming previous scriptures, giving guidance to the truth and the straight path
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
They said: O our people! Lo! we have heard a scripture which hath been revealed after Moses, confirming that which was before it, guiding unto the truth and a right road
Women 4:168
Noun
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَظَلَمُوا۟ لَمۡ یَكُنِ ٱللَّهُ لِیَغۡفِرَ لَهُمۡ وَلَا لِیَهۡدِیَهُمۡ طَرِیقًا ١٦٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Indeed, those who disbelieve and commit wrong [or injustice] - never will Allah forgive them, nor will He guide them to a path
Abdel Haleem:
God will not forgive those who have disbelieved and do evil, nor will He guide them to any pat
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Lo! those who disbelieve and deal in wrong, Allah will never forgive them, neither will He guide them unto a road
Women 4:169
Noun
إِلَّا طَرِیقَ جَهَنَّمَ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۚ وَكَانَ ذَ ٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ یَسِیرࣰا ١٦٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Except the path of Hell; they will abide therein forever. And that, for Allah , is [always] easy
Abdel Haleem:
except that of Hell, where they will remain for ever- this is easy for God
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Except the road of hell, wherein they will abide for ever. And that is ever easy for Allah
The Jinn 72:11
Noun
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا ٱلصَّـٰلِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَ ٰلِكَۖ كُنَّا طَرَاۤىِٕقَ قِدَدࣰا ١١
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we were [of] divided ways
Abdel Haleem:
Some of us are righteous and others less so: we follow different paths
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And among us there are righteous folk and among us there are far from that. We are sects having different rules
The Jinn 72:16
Noun
وَأَلَّوِ ٱسۡتَقَـٰمُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلطَّرِیقَةِ لَأَسۡقَیۡنَـٰهُم مَّاۤءً غَدَقࣰا ١٦
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And [ Allah revealed] that if they had remained straight on the way, We would have given them abundant provisio
Abdel Haleem:
If they had taken to the right way, We would have given them abundant water to drink

If they (the idolaters) tread the right path, We shall give them to drink of water in abundanc
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ

By the sky and the night comer

By the heaven and the Morning Sta
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ

And what can make you know what is the night comer

What will explain to you what the night-comer is
