Lo! We have given thee Abundance
Ta Ha 20:50
Verb
قَالَ رَبُّنَا ٱلَّذِیۤ أَعۡطَىٰ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ خَلۡقَهُۥ ثُمَّ هَدَىٰ ٥٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]."
Abdel Haleem:
Moses said, ‘Our Lord is He who gave everything its form, then gave it guidance.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright
The Star 53:34
Verb
وَأَعۡطَىٰ قَلِیلࣰا وَأَكۡدَىٰۤ ٣٤
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And gave a little and [then] refrained
Abdel Haleem:
he only gave a little and then he stopped
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And gave a little, then was grudging
The Moon 54:29
Verb
فَنَادَوۡا۟ صَاحِبَهُمۡ فَتَعَاطَىٰ فَعَقَرَ ٢٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
But they called their companion, and he dared and hamstrung [her]
Abdel Haleem:
But they called their companion, who took a sword and hamstrung the camel
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
But they call their comrade and he took and hamstrung (her)
The Night 92:5
Verb
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَاتَّقَىٰ
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
As for he who gives and fears Alla
Abdel Haleem:
There is the one who gives, who is mindful of God
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied
Abdel Haleem:
your Lord is sure to give you so much that you will be well satisfied
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content
Repentance 9:29
Verb
قَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ لَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلۡیَوۡمِ ٱلۡءَاخِرِ وَلَا یُحَرِّمُونَ مَا حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَلَا یَدِینُونَ دِینَ ٱلۡحَقِّ مِنَ ٱلَّذِینَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلۡكِتَـٰبَ حَتَّىٰ یُعۡطُوا۟ ٱلۡجِزۡیَةَ عَن یَدࣲ وَهُمۡ صَـٰغِرُونَ ٢٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled
Abdel Haleem:
Fight those of the People of the Book who do not [truly] believe in God and the Last Day, who do not forbid what God and His Messenger have forbidden, who do not obey the rule of justice,until they pay the tax and agree to submit
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low
Repentance 9:58
Verb
وَمِنۡهُم مَّن یَلۡمِزُكَ فِی ٱلصَّدَقَـٰتِ فَإِنۡ أُعۡطُوا۟ مِنۡهَا رَضُوا۟ وَإِن لَّمۡ یُعۡطَوۡا۟ مِنۡهَاۤ إِذَا هُمۡ یَسۡخَطُونَ ٥٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And among them are some who criticize you concerning the [distribution of] charities. If they are given from them, they approve; but if they are not given from them, at once they become angry
Abdel Haleem:
Some of them find fault with you [Prophet] regarding the distribution of alms: they are content if they are given a share, but angry if not
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And of them is he who defameth thee in the matter of the alms. If they are given thereof they are content, and if they are not given thereof, behold! they are enraged

Hud 11:108
Noun
۞ وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِینَ سُعِدُوا۟ فَفِی ٱلۡجَنَّةِ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَا مَا دَامَتِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ إِلَّا مَا شَاۤءَ رَبُّكَۖ عَطَاۤءً غَیۡرَ مَجۡذُوذࣲ ١٠٨
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
And as for those who were [destined to be] prosperous, they will be in Paradise, abiding therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except what your Lord should will - a bestowal uninterrupted
Abdel Haleem:
As for those who have been blessed, they will be in Paradise, there to remain as long as the heavens and earth endure, unless your Lord wills otherwise- an unceasing gift
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
And as for those who will be glad (that day) they will be in the Garden, abiding there so long as the heavens and the earth endure save for that which thy Lord willeth: a gift unfailing
كُلࣰّا نُّمِدُّ هَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ وَهَـٰۤؤُلَاۤءِ مِنۡ عَطَاۤءِ رَبِّكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ عَطَاۤءُ رَبِّكَ مَحۡظُورًا ٢٠
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
To each [category] We extend - to these and to those - from the gift of your Lord. And never has the gift of your Lord been restricted
Abdel Haleem:
To both the latter and the former, We give some of your Lord’s bounty. [Prophet], your Lord’s bounty is not restricted
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Each do We supply, both these and those, from the bounty of thy Lord. And the bounty of thy Lord can never be walled up
The Letter Sad 38:39
Noun
هَـٰذَا عَطَاۤؤُنَا فَٱمۡنُنۡ أَوۡ أَمۡسِكۡ بِغَیۡرِ حِسَابࣲ ٣٩
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."
Abdel Haleem:
‘This is Our gift, so give or withhold as you wish without account.’
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
(Saying): This is Our gift, so bestow thou, or withhold, without reckoning
جَزَاءً مِّن رَّبِّكَ عَطَاءً حِسَابًا
Umm Muhammad (Sahih International):
[As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account
Abdel Haleem:
a reward from your Lord, a fitting gif
Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall:
Requital from thy Lord - a gift in payment
