202 أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ نَصِیبࣱ مِّمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ۚ وَٱللَّهُ سَرِیعُ ٱلۡحِسَابِ ۝٢٠٢ ulāika lahum naṣībun mimmā kasabū wal-lahu sarīʿu l-ḥisāb They will have the share they have worked for: God is swift in reckoning 203 ۞ وَٱذۡكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ فِیۤ أَیَّامࣲ مَّعۡدُودَ ٰتࣲۚ فَمَن تَعَجَّلَ فِی یَوۡمَیۡنِ فَلَاۤ إِثۡمَ عَلَیۡهِ وَمَن تَأَخَّرَ فَلَاۤ إِثۡمَ عَلَیۡهِۖ لِمَنِ ٱتَّقَىٰۗ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّكُمۡ إِلَیۡهِ تُحۡشَرُونَ ۝٢٠٣ wa-udh'kurū l-laha fī ayyāmin maʿdūdātin faman taʿajjala fī yawmayni falā ith'ma ʿalayhi waman ta-akhara falā ith'ma ʿalayhi limani ittaqā wa-ittaqū l-laha wa-iʿ'lamū annakum ilayhi tuḥ'sharūn Remember God on the appointed days. If anyone is in a hurry to leave after two days, there is no blame on him, nor is there any blame on anyone who stays on, so long as they are mindful of God. Be mindful of God, and remember that you will be gathered to Him 204 وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن یُعۡجِبُكَ قَوۡلُهُۥ فِی ٱلۡحَیَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡیَا وَیُشۡهِدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ مَا فِی قَلۡبِهِۦ وَهُوَ أَلَدُّ ٱلۡخِصَامِ ۝٢٠٤ wamina l-nāsi man yuʿ'jibuka qawluhu fī l-ḥayati l-dun'yā wayush'hidu l-laha ʿalā mā fī qalbihi wahuwa aladdu l-khiṣām There is [a kind of] man whose views on the life of this world may please you [Prophet], he even calls on God to witness what is in his heart, yet he is the bitterest of opponents 205 وَإِذَا تَوَلَّىٰ سَعَىٰ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ لِیُفۡسِدَ فِیهَا وَیُهۡلِكَ ٱلۡحَرۡثَ وَٱلنَّسۡلَۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَسَادَ ۝٢٠٥ wa-idhā tawallā saʿā fī l-arḍi liyuf'sida fīhā wayuh'lika l-ḥartha wal-nasla wal-lahu lā yuḥibbu l-fasād When he leaves, he sets out to spread corruption in the land, destroying crops and live-stock- God does not like corruption

206 وَإِذَا قِیلَ لَهُ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ أَخَذَتۡهُ ٱلۡعِزَّةُ بِٱلۡإِثۡمِۚ فَحَسۡبُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُۖ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمِهَادُ ۝٢٠٦ wa-idhā qīla lahu ittaqi l-laha akhadhathu l-ʿizatu bil-ith'mi faḥasbuhu jahannamu walabi'sa l-mihād When he is told, ‘Beware of God,’ his arrogance leads him to sin. Hell is enough for him: a dreadful resting place

207 وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن یَشۡرِی نَفۡسَهُ ٱبۡتِغَاۤءَ مَرۡضَاتِ ٱللَّهِۗ وَٱللَّهُ رَءُوفُۢ بِٱلۡعِبَادِ ۝٢٠٧ wamina l-nāsi man yashrī nafsahu ib'tighāa marḍāti l-lahi wal-lahu raūfun bil-ʿibād But there is also a kind of man who gives his life away to please God, and God is most compassionate to His servants 208 یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱدۡخُلُوا۟ فِی ٱلسِّلۡمِ كَاۤفَّةࣰ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ مُّبِینࣱ ۝٢٠٨ yāayyuhā alladhīna āmanū ud'khulū fī l-sil'mi kāffatan walā tattabiʿū khuṭuwāti l-shayṭāni innahu lakum ʿaduwwun mubīnu You who believe, enter wholeheartedly into submission to God and do not follow in Satan’s footsteps, for he is your sworn enemy 209 فَإِن زَلَلۡتُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَاۤءَتۡكُمُ ٱلۡبَیِّنَـٰتُ فَٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِیزٌ حَكِیمٌ ۝٢٠٩ fa-in zalaltum min baʿdi mā jāatkumu l-bayinātu fa-iʿ'lamū anna l-laha ʿazīzun ḥakīmu If you slip back after clear proof has come to you, then be aware that God is almighty and wise 210 هَلۡ یَنظُرُونَ إِلَّاۤ أَن یَأۡتِیَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِی ظُلَلࣲ مِّنَ ٱلۡغَمَامِ وَٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَقُضِیَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ ۝٢١٠ hal yanẓurūna illā an yatiyahumu l-lahu fī ẓulalin mina l-ghamāmi wal-malāikatu waquḍiya l-amru wa-ilā l-lahi tur'jaʿu l-umūr Are these people waiting for God to come to them in the shadows of the clouds, together with the angels? But the matter would already have been decided by then: all matters are brought back to God
