118
فَٱفۡتَحۡ بَیۡنِی وَبَیۡنَهُمۡ فَتۡحࣰا وَنَجِّنِی وَمَن مَّعِیَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ١١٨
fa-if'taḥ baynī wabaynahum fatḥan wanajjinī waman maʿiya mina l-mu'minīn
so make a firm judgement between me and them, and save me and my believing followers.’
119
فَأَنجَیۡنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِی ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ ١١٩
fa-anjaynāhu waman maʿahu fī l-ful'ki l-mashḥūn
So We saved him and his followers in the fully laden ship
120
ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِینَ ١٢٠
thumma aghraqnā baʿdu l-bāqīn
and drowned the rest
121
إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَةࣰۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ١٢١
inna fī dhālika laāyatan wamā kāna aktharuhum mu'minīn
There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe
122
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ١٢٢
wa-inna rabbaka lahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-raḥīm
your Lord alone is the Almighty, the Merciful
123
كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ ١٢٣
kadhabat ʿādun l-mur'salīn
The people of Ad, too, called the messengers liars
124
إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ١٢٤
idh qāla lahum akhūhum hūdun alā tattaqūn
Their brother Hud said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of God
125
إِنِّی لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِینࣱ ١٢٥
innī lakum rasūlun amīnu
I am a faithful messenger sent to you
126
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِیعُونِ ١٢٦
fa-ittaqū l-laha wa-aṭīʿūn
be mindful of God and obey me
