Verse 26:122 in Context

118 فَٱفۡتَحۡ بَیۡنِی وَبَیۡنَهُمۡ فَتۡحࣰا وَنَجِّنِی وَمَن مَّعِیَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ۝١١٨ fa-if'taḥ baynī wabaynahum fatḥan wanajjinī waman maʿiya mina l-mu'minīn so make a firm judgement between me and them, and save me and my believing followers.’ 119 فَأَنجَیۡنَـٰهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥ فِی ٱلۡفُلۡكِ ٱلۡمَشۡحُونِ ۝١١٩ fa-anjaynāhu waman maʿahu fī l-ful'ki l-mashḥūn So We saved him and his followers in the fully laden ship 120 ثُمَّ أَغۡرَقۡنَا بَعۡدُ ٱلۡبَاقِینَ ۝١٢٠ thumma aghraqnā baʿdu l-bāqīn and drowned the rest 121 إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰلِكَ لَءَایَةࣰۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكۡثَرُهُم مُّؤۡمِنِینَ ۝١٢١ inna fī dhālika laāyatan wamā kāna aktharuhum mu'minīn There truly is a sign in this, though most of them do not believe
122 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلرَّحِیمُ ۝١٢٢ wa-inna rabbaka lahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-raḥīm your Lord alone is the Almighty, the Merciful
123 كَذَّبَتۡ عَادٌ ٱلۡمُرۡسَلِینَ ۝١٢٣ kadhabat ʿādun l-mur'salīn The people of Ad, too, called the messengers liars 124 إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُمۡ أَخُوهُمۡ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ۝١٢٤ idh qāla lahum akhūhum hūdun alā tattaqūn Their brother Hud said to them, ‘Will you not be mindful of God 125 إِنِّی لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِینࣱ ۝١٢٥ innī lakum rasūlun amīnu I am a faithful messenger sent to you 126 فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِیعُونِ ۝١٢٦ fa-ittaqū l-laha wa-aṭīʿūn be mindful of God and obey me
