Verse 27:74 in Context

70 وَلَا تَحۡزَنۡ عَلَیۡهِمۡ وَلَا تَكُن فِی ضَیۡقࣲ مِّمَّا یَمۡكُرُونَ ۝٧٠ walā taḥzan ʿalayhim walā takun fī ḍayqin mimmā yamkurūn [Prophet], do not grieve over them; do not be distressed by their schemes 71 وَیَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡوَعۡدُ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَـٰدِقِینَ ۝٧١ wayaqūlūna matā hādhā l-waʿdu in kuntum ṣādiqīn They also say, ‘When will this promise be fulfilled if what you say is true?’ 72 قُلۡ عَسَىٰۤ أَن یَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعۡضُ ٱلَّذِی تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ ۝٧٢ qul ʿasā an yakūna radifa lakum baʿḍu alladhī tastaʿjilūn Say, ‘Maybe some of what you seek to hasten is near at hand.’ 73 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو فَضۡلٍ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا یَشۡكُرُونَ ۝٧٣ wa-inna rabbaka ladhū faḍlin ʿalā l-nāsi walākinna aktharahum lā yashkurūn Your Lord is bountiful to people, though most of them are ungrateful
74 وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَیَعۡلَمُ مَا تُكِنُّ صُدُورُهُمۡ وَمَا یُعۡلِنُونَ ۝٧٤ wa-inna rabbaka layaʿlamu mā tukinnu ṣudūruhum wamā yuʿ'linūn He knows everything their hearts conceal and everything they reveal
75 وَمَا مِنۡ غَاۤىِٕبَةࣲ فِی ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّا فِی كِتَـٰبࣲ مُّبِینٍ ۝٧٥ wamā min ghāibatin fī l-samāi wal-arḍi illā fī kitābin mubīni there is nothing hidden in the heavens or on earth that is not in a clear Record 76 إِنَّ هَـٰذَا ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ یَقُصُّ عَلَىٰ بَنِیۤ إِسۡرَ ٰۤءِیلَ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلَّذِی هُمۡ فِیهِ یَخۡتَلِفُونَ ۝٧٦ inna hādhā l-qur'āna yaquṣṣu ʿalā banī is'rāīla akthara alladhī hum fīhi yakhtalifūn Truly, this Quran explains to the Children of Israel most of what they differ about 77 وَإِنَّهُۥ لَهُدࣰى وَرَحۡمَةࣱ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ ۝٧٧ wa-innahu lahudan waraḥmatun lil'mu'minīn and it is guidance and grace for those who believe 78 إِنَّ رَبَّكَ یَقۡضِی بَیۡنَهُم بِحُكۡمِهِۦۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡعَلِیمُ ۝٧٨ inna rabbaka yaqḍī baynahum biḥuk'mihi wahuwa l-ʿazīzu l-ʿalīm Truly, your Lord will judge between them in His wisdom- He is the Almighty, the All Knowing
