21
هَـٰذَا یَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِی كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٢١
hādhā yawmu l-faṣli alladhī kuntum bihi tukadhibūn
[It will be said], ‘This is the Day of Decision, which you used to deny
22
۞ ٱحۡشُرُوا۟ ٱلَّذِینَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَأَزۡوَ ٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡبُدُونَ ٢٢
uḥ'shurū alladhīna ẓalamū wa-azwājahum wamā kānū yaʿbudūn
[Angels], gather together those who did wrong, and others like them, as well as whatever they worshippe
23
مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَ ٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ٢٣
min dūni l-lahi fa-ih'dūhum ilā ṣirāṭi l-jaḥīm
beside God, lead them all to the path of Hell
24
وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡءُولُونَ ٢٤
waqifūhum innahum masūlūn
and halt them for questioning
25
مَا لَكُمۡ لَا تَنَاصَرُونَ ٢٥
mā lakum lā tanāṣarūn
“Why do you not support each other now?” ’––
26
بَلۡ هُمُ ٱلۡیَوۡمَ مُسۡتَسۡلِمُونَ ٢٦
bal humu l-yawma mus'taslimūn
no indeed! They will be in complete submission on that Day––
27
وَأَقۡبَلَ بَعۡضُهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضࣲ یَتَسَاۤءَلُونَ ٢٧
wa-aqbala baʿḍuhum ʿalā baʿḍin yatasāalūn
and they will turn on one another accusingly
28
قَالُوۤا۟ إِنَّكُمۡ كُنتُمۡ تَأۡتُونَنَا عَنِ ٱلۡیَمِینِ ٢٨
qālū innakum kuntum tatūnanā ʿani l-yamīn
They will say, ‘You came to us from a position of power.’
29
قَالُوا۟ بَل لَّمۡ تَكُونُوا۟ مُؤۡمِنِینَ ٢٩
qālū bal lam takūnū mu'minīn
They will say, ‘No! It was you who would not believe
