Verse 37:62 in Context

58 أَفَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمَیِّتِینَ ۝٥٨ afamā naḥnu bimayyitīn Then he will say [to his blessed companions], ‘Are we never to die again after our earlier death 59 إِلَّا مَوۡتَتَنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِینَ ۝٥٩ illā mawtatanā l-ūlā wamā naḥnu bimuʿadhabīn Shall we never suffer 60 إِنَّ هَـٰذَا لَهُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِیمُ ۝٦٠ inna hādhā lahuwa l-fawzu l-ʿaẓīm This truly is the supreme triumph!’ 61 لِمِثۡلِ هَـٰذَا فَلۡیَعۡمَلِ ٱلۡعَـٰمِلُونَ ۝٦١ limith'li hādhā falyaʿmali l-ʿāmilūn Everyone should strive to attain this
62 أَذَ ٰلِكَ خَیۡرࣱ نُّزُلًا أَمۡ شَجَرَةُ ٱلزَّقُّومِ ۝٦٢ adhālika khayrun nuzulan am shajaratu l-zaqūm Is this the better welcome, or the tree of Zaqqum
63 إِنَّا جَعَلۡنَـٰهَا فِتۡنَةࣰ لِّلظَّـٰلِمِینَ ۝٦٣ innā jaʿalnāhā fit'natan lilẓẓālimīn which we have made a test for the evildoers 64 إِنَّهَا شَجَرَةࣱ تَخۡرُجُ فِیۤ أَصۡلِ ٱلۡجَحِیمِ ۝٦٤ innahā shajaratun takhruju fī aṣli l-jaḥīm This tree grows in the heart of the blazing Fire 65 طَلۡعُهَا كَأَنَّهُۥ رُءُوسُ ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینِ ۝٦٥ ṭalʿuhā ka-annahu ruūsu l-shayāṭīn and its fruits are like devils’ heads 66 فَإِنَّهُمۡ لَءَاكِلُونَ مِنۡهَا فَمَالِءُونَ مِنۡهَا ٱلۡبُطُونَ ۝٦٦ fa-innahum laākilūna min'hā famāliūna min'hā l-buṭūn They will fill their bellies eating from it
