ٱلشَّمۡسُ وَٱلۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانࣲ ٥
Alshshamsu waalqamaru bihusbanin
The sun and the moon follow their calculated courses
6
وَٱلنَّجۡمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ یَسۡجُدَانِ ٦
wal-najmu wal-shajaru yasjudān
the plants and the trees submit to His designs
7
وَٱلسَّمَاۤءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلۡمِیزَانَ ٧
wal-samāa rafaʿahā wawaḍaʿa l-mīzān
He has raised up the sky. He has set the balanc
8
أَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡا۟ فِی ٱلۡمِیزَانِ ٨
allā taṭghaw fī l-mīzān
so that you may not exceed in the balance
9
وَأَقِیمُوا۟ ٱلۡوَزۡنَ بِٱلۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُوا۟ ٱلۡمِیزَانَ ٩
wa-aqīmū l-wazna bil-qis'ṭi walā tukh'sirū l-mīzān
weigh with justice and do not fall short in the balance
10
وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡأَنَامِ ١٠
wal-arḍa waḍaʿahā lil'anām
He set down the Earth for His creatures
11
فِیهَا فَـٰكِهَةࣱ وَٱلنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ ٱلۡأَكۡمَامِ ١١
fīhā fākihatun wal-nakhlu dhātu l-akmām
with its fruits, its palm trees with sheathed clusters
12
وَٱلۡحَبُّ ذُو ٱلۡعَصۡفِ وَٱلرَّیۡحَانُ ١٢
wal-ḥabu dhū l-ʿaṣfi wal-rayḥān
its husked grain, its fragrant plants
13
فَبِأَیِّ ءَالَاۤءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ ١٣
fabi-ayyi ālāi rabbikumā tukadhibān
Which, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny
