Verse 65:11 in Context

7 لِیُنفِقۡ ذُو سَعَةࣲ مِّن سَعَتِهِۦۖ وَمَن قُدِرَ عَلَیۡهِ رِزۡقُهُۥ فَلۡیُنفِقۡ مِمَّاۤ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُۚ لَا یُكَلِّفُ ٱللَّهُ نَفۡسًا إِلَّا مَاۤ ءَاتَىٰهَاۚ سَیَجۡعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بَعۡدَ عُسۡرࣲ یُسۡرࣰا ۝٧ liyunfiq dhū saʿatin min saʿatihi waman qudira ʿalayhi riz'quhu falyunfiq mimmā ātāhu l-lahu lā yukallifu l-lahu nafsan illā mā ātāhā sayajʿalu l-lahu baʿda ʿus'rin yus'ra and let the wealthy man spend according to his wealth. But let him whose provision is restricted spend according to what God has given him: God does not burden any soul with more than He has given it- after hardship, God will bring ease 8 وَكَأَیِّن مِّن قَرۡیَةٍ عَتَتۡ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبۡنَـٰهَا حِسَابࣰا شَدِیدࣰا وَعَذَّبۡنَـٰهَا عَذَابࣰا نُّكۡرࣰا ۝٨ waka-ayyin min qaryatin ʿatat ʿan amri rabbihā warusulihi faḥāsabnāhā ḥisāban shadīdan waʿadhabnāhā ʿadhāban nuk'ra Many a town that insolently opposed the command of its Lord and His messengers We have brought sternly to account: We punished them severel 9 فَذَاقَتۡ وَبَالَ أَمۡرِهَا وَكَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ أَمۡرِهَا خُسۡرًا ۝٩ fadhāqat wabāla amrihā wakāna ʿāqibatu amrihā khus'ra to make them taste the ill effect of their conduct- the result of their conduct was ruin 10 أَعَدَّ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمۡ عَذَابࣰا شَدِیدࣰاۖ فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ یَـٰۤأُو۟لِی ٱلۡأَلۡبَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ۚ قَدۡ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ إِلَیۡكُمۡ ذِكۡرࣰا ۝١٠ aʿadda l-lahu lahum ʿadhāban shadīdan fa-ittaqū l-laha yāulī l-albābi alladhīna āmanū qad anzala l-lahu ilaykum dhik'ra God has prepared a severe torment for them. So, you who have understanding, you who believe, beware of God. He has sent you the Qura
11 رَّسُولࣰا یَتۡلُوا۟ عَلَیۡكُمۡ ءَایَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ مُبَیِّنَـٰتࣲ لِّیُخۡرِجَ ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ مِنَ ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِۚ وَمَن یُؤۡمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَیَعۡمَلۡ صَـٰلِحࣰا یُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّـٰتࣲ تَجۡرِی مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِینَ فِیهَاۤ أَبَدࣰاۖ قَدۡ أَحۡسَنَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ رِزۡقًا ۝١١ rasūlan yatlū ʿalaykum āyāti l-lahi mubayyinātin liyukh'rija alladhīna āmanū waʿamilū l-ṣāliḥāti mina l-ẓulumāti ilā l-nūri waman yu'min bil-lahi wayaʿmal ṣāliḥan yud'khil'hu jannātin tajrī min taḥtihā l-anhāru khālidīna fīhā abadan qad aḥsana l-lahu lahu riz'qa and a messenger- reciting to you God’s revelations that make things clear- to bring those who believe and do righteous deeds from darkness into light. God will admit those who believe in Him and do righteous deeds into Gardens graced with flowing streams, where they will remain for ever––He has made good provision for them
12 ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ سَبۡعَ سَمَـٰوَ ٰتࣲ وَمِنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِثۡلَهُنَّۖ یَتَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ بَیۡنَهُنَّ لِتَعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَیۡءࣲ قَدِیرࣱ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَدۡ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَیۡءٍ عِلۡمَۢا ۝١٢ al-lahu alladhī khalaqa sabʿa samāwātin wamina l-arḍi mith'lahunna yatanazzalu l-amru baynahunna litaʿlamū anna l-laha ʿalā kulli shayin qadīrun wa-anna l-laha qad aḥāṭa bikulli shayin ʿil'ma It is God who created seven heavens and a similar [number] of earths. His command descends throughout them. So you should realize that He has power over all things and that His knowledge encompasses everything
